You don't really know what I wanted, now do you? Just because my character says one thing doesn't mean that I haven't planned ahead for several different outcomes.

I said it to Maxi, I'll say it to you.
As far as I can recall, I've never been in a situation where I actually wanted to beat someone down. My fights usually have the aim of 'bloody them up a little' or 'prove they can't win repeatedly until they give up'.
The last time I can recall going into a fight with the aim of killing the other person, I disarmed them, pinned them, and then asked a Flare to slit his throat while I held him down.
