 Salbei had been there for a while, but only because he had been there all day. He had quite the knack for getting lost, and there was no way he was going to mess up his time with Lifen's pretty little sister just because he went the wrong way and was too stubborn to turn around. He spent the time looking around, watching the students as they filed in and got to having their carefree fun. It actually took him a moment to realize that he couldn't yet find his own date - that perhaps he should have offered to escort her here so they could arrive as a couple - and the only reason it crossed his mind was because he spotted her in the crowd.
"A lovely vision in red." He murmured appreciatively as he approached her, stooping to scoop up her hand, bringing her knuckles to his lips for a little kiss. "Did you find the place okay, my dear?"

The song finished and Roch pulled away, grinning at her. "Thanks for the dance," he said, looking around--
And then he saw Lark. His face lit up and he raced over to her. "Yo!" he said, grabbing for her hands. "C'mon, dance with me! No sayin' no, I only got a little bit before I'm back on the stage," he told her, holding out his hand. "Come with us, Ben!" he said to the kangaroo. "Bouncin's the BEST way t'dance!"

Looks like Shik finally got to the party.
He was dressed very . . . Shik-ly. Knowing that the party had a theme (and assuming it was required to adhere to it to go) (and knowing Shaheen wouldn't let him say no gods be damned), the horseman had dressed up as . . . a bear. Sort of. He had a pelt draped around him and his hair was a grizzly mess with feathers still entwined in a way that made them look like quills more than anything else, and there were fur accessories around his wrists and ankles. Teeth from the various adornments he wore jangled softly as he leaned over and took Shaheen's hand, raising a brow at her that asked, Is this student actually hitting on you or is this thing trying this politeness or whatever it is people called it these days?
And also possibly slightly a little bit of whoops I'm late.

Busted. There was no fighting a statement like that. Freya pouted childishly, and put her hands behind her back, holding them. "I'm sorry." She whispered. "It was just fun. Everythings was all excitings and I was.. sorry." She reached out and hugged him hard around the middle. "Yeh can keeps the phone. As long as yeh keeps me tuu. Promise?"

“Oh, it is fine, Bells!” Hel assured in regards to Mot and the threesome comment. She giggled. “Meet him? Oh, ya! He is coming even if I have to carry him.” Which she could and would. Buuut, back to Lou… “Oh ya…We know this boil…he was terrorizing last prom as well.” Hel reached out and pressed her palm against the vampire’s forehead, and pushed him back away from her chest. “He is pretty harmless though, just annoying.” She raised a brow. “Oh…ya! I was two toned last prom…” Hel was then looking past the boil’s shoulder though, as she caught sight of Kettil taking Freya’s phone away. Hel immediately cupped her hands around her mouth to yell: “YA! YOU GO KETTIL! YOU PUT HER IN HER PLACE! BEST BROTHER EVER!”

Someone scooped her hand up when she wasn't paying attention and she turned her head to find Salbei already here. A small pink flush came to her cheeks and she simply nodded at his question as his lips pressed to her knuckles. "Yes.. I just.. ran a little late getting ready. I'm not used to dressing up like this." The smile she gave him was soft, gentle, but honest.
Her eyes shifted to look the other horseman over before laughing. "You look very handsome, Salbei. Her hands moved to push back some of his hair before looking around. There were so many monsters, demons, and other creeple here.
"I'm sorry I kept you waiting."

Jericho had priorities. Said priorities led them to the refreshments table, where Riley let her dates go, and bent very carefully over the salad, inspecting it with a slit gaze. She took a plate, and put several spoonfuls in it.
Then she put the plate down carefully, and took the bowl.
Someone get me something to drink. She requested gently. My hands are full.

Kettil draped his arms around Freya for a moment as she pouted at him and then hugged him. He felt bad taking her phone away, but enough was enough. The shout of Hel caused him to flick a glance back at her with a small chuckle as he tightened his hold on his Freya, just in case.
"You know I'm gonna keep you, and you can have your phone back when the night is over. I know it's excitin' with all these people around, some of them saying juicy and scandalous things. I just want a bit of your time tonight is all. You can type all about it on a website somewhere or something. I dunno. Just ... Let me have you for a bit now," He leaned and kissed her forehead. "Startin' to get jealous of the phone."
Was Kettil aware that he was adding fuel to a possible fire? Nope.

It started out as a low whisper. Something passed off as background noise, and dismissed just as easily. The songs continued to play, the games continued to make noises, and the gnomes continued to run about on errands seemingly of their own design. The party-goers continued to go about their own business, oblivious to the going-ons around them. Then the hushed whispers began to get a little louder, just enough to distinguish a few words. This way?No, it's this---Hurry up!Whoever it was had moved on quickly after that, leaving behind nothing but a striped scarf and footprints heading towards the weeping forest. OOC FOLLOW THOSE FOOTSTEPS?!This is Optional - You don't have to follow the trail if you don't want to!
The footsteps are leading away from the Tent - and all of Prom, actually! - if you choose to follow them, you find yourself here! This leads to an optional boss fight. This only takes up one IC hour of your character's time so feel free to RP your students here afterwards if you'd like, a little more torn up from the boss fight at any point in time (after one IC hour).
- There will of course be prize loot for anyone who participates in the optional boss fight, otherwise your character can stay here and enjoy the music! (Post EXIT if your char is exiting!)
- If your character has not posted at all yet, they can join in simply for the boss fight by posting a quick exit post here and then hopping into the fight!

Lark had been enjoying herself. When she caught sight of Steffani, she'd immediately gone to the other ghoul, unceremoniously dragging Ben after her. The roo was none too pleased (or so he acted - in truth he was thrilled with the attention he'd been getting) but he was polite to Steffani and her date. Lark waggled her eyebrows discreetly while mouthing niiiiiiiice in regards to the undead's date. "Y'havin' fun, then, yeah?" Lark beamed -- -- and then suddenly a Roch was dragging her towards the dance floor, and she stumbled after him, laughing. Ben loped slowly after the pair, a huge grin on his face. "I ain't good at dancin'," Lark hedged as Ben drew up to bounce next to his reaper. "Aw, c'mon now. S'easy. Y'jest gotta bounce, treat!"

"Who cares if you are?" Roch asked. "I got what, a song or two before I'm back on the stage, y'know! I want t'get in some dancin' with ghouls before I'm stuck on stage with sweaty boils again. They smell like BO," he said shamelessly, knowing he'd get yelled at.

Christof made a startled noise in his throat as Amrita spoke up, and napkins were suddenly launched in the air. All three arms frantically plucked them up as quickly as he could, his face red in patches and locked on her feet. After a moment, he glanced up, snatched his hat from his head politely, started to bow, stopped himself, and raised a hand in a nervous wave. He stuffed the napkins in his coat pockets, hat tucked under his arm as he quickly signed, "Was-not-working."
