"Interesting, I wouldn't have thought that would have been a later thing in your life. For us ability, standing and most importantly what powerful gifts you have. For you, HA you'd have the pick of caught they would be more than happy to offer you a life of luxury on the basis they could study this symbiote."

Dagoth was speaking more freely now, the conversation and Roan's presence had relaxed his body enough that the healing had begun to accelerate. He could feel the last after taste of burnt strip away layer on layer with each word.

"I do have one question, your family does it exist now? Or did you do what I think you'd do with such power."
PostPosted: Tue May 22, 2012 3:11 pm

"My symbiote is an unusual entity. And sentient. If he doesn't wish to be studied, he wont be studied. Truthfully, he and I are both more trouble than we're worth. And besides... luxury often hides a gilded cage."

She finished her smoke and stubbed it out as Jan arrived with a large platter of foods for Dagoth. Setting it on the bed on props, the butler bowed on his way out, throwing a brief, questioning look at Roan, who returned it with an arced brow.

Only after Jan had left did she answer Dagoths question, though she gave no specifics as to what she actually meant.

"My family exists. And the bloodline continues."

Dagoth gazed wide eyed at the food Jan brought in, he gave the old butler a respectful nod. It was then his stomach made its hunger known, even his bones felt hungry, when Roan spoke again his jaw almost hit the floor.

"That wasn't the answer I was expecting, guess you are of stronger moral fibre than me."

He looked at Roan and then the food, he wanted to continue this discussion on but he was famished and exhausted when spoke again it was through a yawn.

"I feel in a few days I can return to my training. If you don't mind I wouldn't mind sleeping and eating now."
PostPosted: Tue May 22, 2012 3:28 pm

"Base your evaluation of my moral fibre on what you witness yourself, Dagoth. Not what you believe I have told you. As you yourself noted - we Kindred spend our lives plotting and testing each other.

We are all manipulators. Including me."

Inclining her head at his request, she stood and moved towards the door, taking the jug of vitae Jan had brought out with her.

"Rest well. You know where to find me."

She shut the door quietly behind her, able to focus now on just ONE area, instead of two.

"He danced liked a clumsy yank. A god is a god when some skirt wearin' ******** can't hack it and comes cryin'..."

Locking eyes with Roan he was showing that he had his full conscious mind and full function of his body within his own control once more, and was ready to continue, signed sincerely with a cocky smirk.

"I'll be a king. The weak will beg, but the best will kneel AT their best. He knows 'is place now."

Unaware that Roan had heard everything he played the brave face, when inside he was struggling to not rip free of his bindings and throw a messy, very manly, hissy fit. Pissed to no end that after all that, Magra was still able to at the end, simply dismiss him. He was forced without even the chance to notice and fight back from that inner world. Even if he came back from the brink, and talked s**t like the heavy weight champ, he was simply brushed aside without the chance to even notice.

Letting his mask slip slightly as his jaw slipped on grinding teeth, he barked with a cocky tone.

"Well lady? I'm all dressed up but we goin' somewhere, or you not done with your skive?"

Cocking a brow at her, he knew he was going to regret that jab, but he rather have this done with so he could return to solitude, and break something in private.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 12:27 pm

She had a smoke to finish. And knew a jab when she heard one. Big mouthed as she may be, she was no fish rising to the bait, and her response to the jibe was to slowly exhale a smoke ring from her comfy spot against the wall.

"Patience, childe. A dance should be enjoyed like a fine wine."

Let him stew for a minute more, everything was a lesson. However, once the smoke was done with... THEN she stood, and went from hurry up and wait to full action withinn seconds.
He had plenty to think about, and for now, she wished it to be purely based around the main event of the evening. She suspected this would suit him well, considering he now knew he was VERY far from alone in his head, but still...

Four deep, swift gashes were her next gift to him, followed by several shorter gashes to allow her to lift entire STRIPS of skin off his back. This included lifting a fair degree of fatty tissue with it.

"Whatever you aspire to be, wherever you choose to put your energy, until the day comes you can bat ME aside without consequence, you are mine, and you will obey me. I told you all relationships are based on dominance and sacrifice. I am both, for you. You are mine, to use AND to protect as I see fit. Earn the right to both sides of this relationship, and you will not regret it. This is not something based only of choice and decision, but also of blood. Blood is everything. This you will not only learn... but live. You have no choice at ALL in that after all."

"I prefer rum."

His fiendish smirk catching an edge to define him. A brat, an impish delight for any who craved complete and utter chaos. He however had knelt before this woman and had pledged to be her sword. That said a lot of his commitment to the values she went on to speak of.

All the while as she swiftly changed gears with deft, merciless nature he bit into his own teeth, upper and lower rows vying for dominance while he fought just as equally against his own vocal pain. He'd been tortured, in more than a single sense before but this, was special some how.

He had to hand it to the old girl, she knew what she was doing.

"I HAD a choice. I made it."

Finally, Roan's efforts would be rewarded. Tiny as it was, she'd get from the bratty youth a throaty groan of pain, as she lifted sections of flesh and fatty tissue. Strips which flt more like chunks to him, with his arms tensing though not against the restraints to resist them. He wasn't going to make it seem like he was trying to break free. He would fight that to. His mind, and his body a rock, though he had to then fight the urge to fortify his flesh against her assault. A true struggle throughout.

"To an ideal, to an individual, or a thought, or a moral.... but with our kind, the blood isnt a choice. It's a fact. Moreso, for you. Should you EVER find a way to circumvent that... I would love to hear about it."

From behind, there was no way he could see the smirk settled on her lips. The manacles weren't tight, they weren't restraints. They were supports, and all part of the test, the experiance. So far... they were doing their job well, as was the kid himself. She was satisfied the seriousness of the situation was not being lost, nor the significance.

That in mind, she was able to skip making each cut a lesson in itself for simply moving to the next stage, especially now the first sound of pain had escaped him. She needed this to hurt badly, after all. Potentially, this night would need to be as vivid to the kid in 500 years time as it was now.

She worked faster, finishing the design she had started, removing a significant amount of flesh in the process, until the design itself was hard to even make out, there was so much open bleeding space.

"I made the mistake of Siring you before doing this, and DeSeer's heal well. You also have a... guest... within you who heals well. I do NOT wish your back to heal however. Not properly. Not wholly. I have cut more out of you than I would most, and I know its hurt. It's about to get much worse. Think you can handle it?"

"You wanna change? What. This i'nt good enough for you?"

Speaking through teeth about to shatter against eachother he turned to look over his shoulder at her with his one good eye and grin. The pain was more than evident on his face though he still managed to grin like a true warrior, that had found his equal on the field of battle, after cutting down so many that were too weak.

"Me to, but built on what I already am. You think siring me first was a mistake. That the petty god within me gives me an unfair advantage. I say...Give me your worst. I'm in control. I could break these chains to prove my point but we both knew that from the start. Skin me if you have to, they'll stay slack."

Each time she removed more and more flesh, he grunted and growled, though his jaws remained clamped tight. This much, his pride could manage.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:10 pm

"What I want is complicated. You will help me achieve it, in time. For now though... let's leave that to one side."

Her smirk widened somewhat seeing the pain in his face, and the carefully worded defiance. Give him is due, the kid wasn't without wits, or a certain level of animal smarts she appreciated. For one so young to understanding quite what she was aiming for, AND to bow to it (admittedly in a cocky and brash manner) meant she was already making a note to follow up what lessons had taught him this.

For now though... the cutting was done. She wasn't going to skin him. She was going to burn him.

The first clue would be the scent of something acrid as she opened one of the containers she'd spent two nights preparing. As she'd said, she didn't want Corbin to heal properly, in anyway. Kindred healed without having to think on it too much, and ormal damage faded like a mark in putty. Acid, however, would ensure his back NEVER forgot the trauma of this night. And that NO ONE would mistake who had done it to him.

She didn't hold back. Let him live up to his own big words, and try to stay quiet. A thick, dripping stroke of acid through the largest of the open wounds, accompanied by the horrific scent it would produce, should soon ensure the experiance wouldn't be forgotten EVER.

For the briefest moment, everything went red. Corbin's vision was washed over as his spine jerked into posture and his arms warped with the strain in his muscles much the same as his legs. His arms however, remained raised to the point there was some slack in the chains. Don't mistake, there was a chime as they had moved some measure closer, though not by much. He would keep to his word and succeed in this challenge. Even if it were one he had set for himself.

He fought against the indiscriminate agony as it burnt without sentient concern for him. A chemical torture. He understood why it was so effective now, even if that wasn't the point of its application.

The pain in his head was entire leagues away from that which corroded his back yet, he was still aware of the cracking in his enamal, and the throbbing in his head caused by the nerve endings.

His toes were curling and his tail lashed. For the time being that would be Roan's reward. He growled angrily, rather than in pain still yet his jaws remained clenched, as the spaded end of his tail fractured the flooring under them, Potence being his focus rather than Fortitude or healing.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:32 pm

A smirk, a step back, an avoidance of that tail as i reacted. Credit where it was due... he reacted a lot less wildly than she'd expected.

And yet no increase in the sound of pain, AND the chains remained clack. Not good enough. TOO much control, still.

Well, that could be remedied. A change in the applicator for a hard wire brush, and a thicker application of the liquid. It was designed to be thick, so it didnt scar him anywhere but where she put the stuff. Therefore, two applications to every wound, ensuring the wires coated the undersided lip of each flap of skin around the edges of the design.

Torture tended to have a point, something desired that would indicate an end. Technically this was the case here too, but no mere word would stop her until the entire design was fully coated, and permanently scarred in.

"By all means... scream."

He was already at his limit. That fine line between control and outrage. His potence as an outlet was in his own mind genius though it had its own limitations. If he went too far he'd cause himself damage with it alone. He'd already hit that line and his muscles were screaming in place of him. Though he was capable of more. It could be utilized as an outlet but he'd sacrifice control. The control to hold on to his word of not pulling against, and breaking the restraints.

He for a moment, regretted his challenge. Better perhaps, to have broken them to prove he'd stay standing without them.

"NO."

That spark in his eye was a wild inferno. He'd set his goal high. If he were to go back on it, he'd do the same if it were lower. What's one step back? He wouldn't let himself think that way. Instead. He'd step forward.

His spine corrected once more straight, the muscles in his defored back defining against Roan's assault and he raised his arms higher, as high as they'd reach with curled wrists and balled fists. He pushed his potence, to the point that he jumped over the line and his circulatory system started to scream as his muscles had. Hulking in comparison to his naturally athletic physique, he growled in as much a beastial manner his vocal chords could manage, his tail ciled so tightly about his right leg he'd do himself serious damage.

All the while, ignorant to the fact he'd given her exactly what she bid already. Though through his teeth, he'd roared that singular word.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:59 pm

"Close enough."

She'd stepped well back now, and lit another smoke, though you'd never know, considering the room now REEKED of burning flesh and chemicals.
She watched him, calculatingly, and with pleasure, especially as he couldn't see the smile.

A horrible feeling spread through the room. Beyond that already there. Something had arrived, something old, and powerful and assured. Chances were Corbin wouldn't be TOO concerned with it, considering his back by now should be a firebed of complete debilitating pain, and taking all his concerntration to withstand.

"Knock him out."

Roan circled in front of Corbin, her expression now hardened from the smile.. but still approving. Behind the kid... the hulking form of the Daemon-God, Také-Mikazuchi stretched out a single hand and filled the stinking air with power, scouring Corbin's back top to bottom with lightning, a bolt striking the back of his neck with enough power to knock an elephant on its arse.

"Sleep, childe. That's an order."

He was entirely too focused on his goal to even notice that Roan had stopped. He was consumed by his need to compensate for, and tolerate the pain to the point he was practically no more than a living statue of brute force, veins pulsating against his skin visibly, muscles strained to the point they were tearing and his leg, was something of a mess with his tail coiled about it.

He didn't even fully take in what Roan was saying as she went by. The the surge hit him. He was already at his physical limit, and Take was more than capable of simply flicking off the lights like a switch.

Sweet, serene silence. It overcame him as that bolt hit his neck and his nerves were shut down. If he knew, he'd hate himself for it, but finally the brat was quiet, and suspended by his restraints.
