"Who?" Barth said, eyes opening. His claws clenched the cot. They hadn't done inventory yet. He didn't know who had been with the other groups - who had been weaponized, or purged. Who was still left at the house. Who the Hunters had managed to take back.

Not his group. And he had seen flashes, other familiar faces.

There were other faces he hadn't seen.

Mandy audibly gulped.

"Claire."

There was a beat as Mandy internally squirmed before the need to explain over took waiting for Barths reaction.

"We where in our group room and this door appeared and she and the others just rushed through and before I could follow the door closed and I didn't know what was going on but the others came back but she wasn't there- so I don't know what happened- and then the Fu dogs appeared and everything just got complicated and I never got the chance to look for her and I'msorryIknowIpromisedyoutolookafterher."

Mandys eyes where clenched shut and her breath was uneven from the rush. She was dreading his reaction. After all... She had promised.

West frowned, trying to come up with the most economical way to tell Savior she should get back to her room and rest. Maybe someone would get her some real clothes along the way, instead of her burrito sheet.

"Go. Sleep," he whispered, clearly unaware of what would happen once she did. "We can get y'clothes some other time." He turned to Holly, motioning in the direction of the dorms. "I'ma go."

"You're welcome." He said with a a little grin back, sincere about what he'd said.

After Edel rejected the spookies, Moure gave a slight shrug and nod. "Alright then." The patchwork had just been making sure that Edel had gotten the chance herself to claim or pass on the spookies. After all, she'd probably need one too, if they were meant to help heal the returning students.

"Good luck finding whoever you need to find Mort." Moure said with a nod as the zombie seemed to have a realization. While some of the things he'd mentioned concerning Edel seemed...peculiar, Moure simply gave a nod to the zombie and returned his attentions to Edel.

After Mort had started talking to another, Moure looked back to the frost demoness, as she mentioned needing some rest. Her expression confirmed Moure's fears that her captivity had been more of psychological damage than physical. He gave a nod, standing and gently holding her hand. "Want me to escort you back to the dorms?" It was more of a request than a question. Moure didn't want Edel collapsing on the way back and not having anyone there to help her. She looked like she might drop at any second.

And, quite simply, Moure wanted to be there for her in case she ever needed him.

"Wait." Savior had been content to keep herself wrapped up in the burrito-cloth, but it looked like West as leaving and therefore she wanted to perhaps go with him. Holly was still here with her though, it was good enough, but West had been kind and got her clothing, and even had been touching her despite her being so burned. "Not sleep, but this. For youse. Boths."

The Marrowstripe somehow managed to get one arm free from her wrap, and she used it to reach behind her mask. She rooted around for a second or two before her hand came back, and between her fingers she held two round shapes. They looked like they might have been teeth, but on closer inspection . . .

"Keep with, Savior will protect you." The items were her emblem, a strange thing for her to know how to get despite being unable to do much else. The emblems themselves downright reeked of citrus, a scent that likely wouldn't fade, and she held out her hand towards both Holly and West. "Please. Takes."

"After that ravine at the school yea. We eventually ended up at this cave and he was there. I don't know what his name is but-" Bul fell silent and shut his eyes tight for a moment. That vision- he couldn't let it continue to plague him. Not until he got some sleep. He did still have to tell Mei after all.

"I don't doubt it. I think they will be a problem for a long time.. knowing what I've heard and all. But I'll tell you about that later. Right now we gotta make sure you're okay to leave." He followed her off of the cot and smiled. "We'll have to make time for cuddles when I'm not covered in dead skin.." he shuddered.

It made it just a bit easier to leave her, the way she cuddled into the pillow a bit as he rested her down. Shehk looked cold, curled up like that, but the cot was soft, and the pillow softer, far more so than his body -- perhaps she had retained enough body heat from him to keep her warm, for a while. Leaning back a little for a second, the skinwalker just watched her for a few seconds, as if hesitant, wanting to go yet not sure he should. Pausing half a second longer, Nuk leaned down to pull the thin, cotton blanket up from where it had been folded at the bottom of the mattress, gently shaking it open before draping it over her shoulders. Her words gave him reason to pause again, molten amber eyes lifting to the ones focused so vividly on his own he almost changed his mind, but instead the monster merely laughed a little under his breath, as if he didn't get that she wasn't joking. "Yeah, don't go running off or anything -- this is no time to go find yourself a new boyfriend."

Squeezing her shoulder, Nuk didn't wait for the response he didn't expect to come anyway, bare feet making no noise against the wooden floor of the gym as he sauntered out of the tent. If he heard what the pricolici had muttered under her breath, he didn't show it -- his stride never changed, quick to leave the tent.

~~~
Across the gym, at the water fountain by the entrance to the locker rooms, Nuk stopped in front of a familiar busty ghost, smiling as he struck up a conversation.
It took a lot to just to not say 'I'd rather have the old one back' when he joked about her running off to find a new boyfriend.
However, She could see him across the tent now, talking to..woah... yeah, even from her spot in the cot she could tell there was indeed a busty ghost across the way that had gotten the skinwalker's attention. Yeah, dragged him all the way across the tent even. There was a pang of jealousy and her heart immediately responded to the scene by aching. Not that it didn't seem to forever ache just from the scene with the Werewolf that was burning into her memory. Shehk watched for a moment before she sighed, turning her attention away from him.
Instead, it turned to a hand that touched her shoulder.
"Were you planning on asking me for help anytime soon?" The nurse asked, looming over her shoulder. Shehk looked up at her awkwardly. "I...yes....." she answered after a moment. Cricket took a moment to touch the ghoul's head. "This?" "It doesn't hurt...really....." The nurse made a face as the pricolici rolled over onto her stomach pathetically to show her the burn. It seethed at contact with the blanket, staining the white fabric with hints of red from the burn. Cricket looked at it for a moment before she pressed a hand to it to test for the same pain that the previous burns she'd been checking on had been missing.
"Does this hur-"
All she got as an answer was a shriek of pain.
Edel, unfortunately or fortunately, was a little too tired to get all flustered at what Mort had so kindly and incorrectly announced to the gym. Her face however, had denial written all over it. No – wait - Ah yes, now was a good time to go back to her room and dive under those sheets and stay hidden forever.
Y-Yes...we'll see you soon too...” she stuttered in response. For a moment, the frost demon's mind wasn't on the field trip anymore.
The ghoul turned towards Moure as soon as she felt the patchwork boil take her hand. “I ....” would it be too much of her to ask? Moure was looking a little worse for wear too but... “ – that would be n-nice,” she continued a little hesitantly. Yes, she supposed it would be nice to be in his company, even for a short while longer.
Shall we?
The tiny siren was unsure now. He could hear familiar voices, and he saw a few familiar faces, but- feathers ruffled as he shuddered. Like a cold chill in his spine, it made it’s way up his body, goose bumps on his skins and feathers splaying outward only to resettle. The spookies were helping slightly, but they were in tents set up for tend to the injured for jack’s sake. That alone spoke volumes in comparison to the last two fieldtrips. Sure they had dissipated and… almost been killed, but this time it was more than that. This time the proverbial pumpkins had hit the fan and it had all gone to invisible dog s**t.
He’d spent enough time in this tent, no one really needed help here and all he really needed was a new set of clothes, (and maybe a large helping of emotional support but he could get that later from Lucien. The ghost was always one to make the siren feel more at ease. Israfel wasn’t sure why, but something about the boil’s presence helped him greatly.) Wings shuffled up and down awkwardly as the monster made his way out of the tent, looking at the others. Some might still need help but… he wasn’t really sure just how to help. What could he do besides site and take up space? Once more he was being a self defeatist.
Looking at the other tents, ear wings flicked to catch the sounds. The disturbing sounds of bones and whimpers and cries of pain made him shudder in unease. He didn’t want to linger here much longer. To what purpose did it have? None really. Teachers would be more needed to help those worse than him, and from just what the tents were described on the signs… he figured it would be best for him to go back to his dorm room. A night sleep might help him more than any bandage would.
Blue Tent
LW watched the pup while letting Malodore dab at her back with...whatever it was. It didn't exactly hurt, though the area did hurt slightly when pushing. Tender was probably the best word to use to describe it. But at this point, she didn't care. Just wanted to get it treated.
"What about...shifting? Can I still shift?" The she-wolf asked, glancing over her shoulder. She could take it easy in her activities, but not shifting for a certain amount of time got almost painful in some semblance of the word. LW didn't like going long periods without being able to shift, but it was something she would do if she had to. It just meant her friends would have to deal with a slightly on edge she-wolf.
"Any idea how long it might take, Doc? And thanks. Again." LW closed her eyes, working to release her grip on Tybalt's arm. She hadn't even gotten stitches yet for Jack's sake!
Red Tent
Roch hesitated outside the tents, looking as casual as he could as he searched for people that might yell at him. He'd already gotten into trouble with Cricket, and there were boogies everywhere, but... well... this was Danny. He sidled closer to the red tent, slipping inside when nobody noticed him and heading for the bed where his best friend was laid out.
For a moment he looked her over, checking to see if she was missing any limbs or anything, then he leaned closer. "Oye," he said. "C'mon, Danny, wake up already."
Red Tent
Danny hadn't heard anything after Red's heroic "We Are Halloween" speech. After that, she'd pretty much passed out from the absolute shock of watching her favorite teacher die AND being burned from head to toe for the first time in her life. All of the bleeding cuts from the mirror maze and the bruises from the battles and the slides remained as well. She wasn't exactly in tip top shape.
She hadn't heard when cricket examined her either. Luckily, it was just as Cricket found her. She wasn't horribly injured, just needed some rest. Which is exactly what she was doing.
Oye. C'mon, Danny, wake up already.
Her figure stirred slightly. Was she late for class or something? "Ngggh," she moaned, "Five more minutes." She tried to throw the pillow over her head, but found that it was quite difficult to move around too much without something hurting. Why was that? Had she fallen off the roof skateboarding again?
Little bits and pieces came back, and then all at once. That's right, she had been in a battle, and the house and-
"Roch?"
RED TENT
"Yeah," he said, grinning. "I'm glad you ain't dead," he added. Oh, how loving, man. "I was worried, y'know? But you got all your limbs and stuff, which is good." He seemed a little nervous, and glanced around quickly before reaching up to touch her hand.
"I'm sorry," he said quietly. "Somehow I got sent to a different fight than you guys did. I wasn't there to watch your back." How frustrating that was to the boil. Danny, G, Moure, the people he'd gone in with, expecting to help, and he hadn't been there.
Red Tent
At first it was just "Yeah ... you .... was .... limbs ..."
"What are you even..." she mumbled, and then tried turning over. Nope, still hurt.
She felt a hand on her own and realized Roch was saying something. Her half-asleep facade was over though. After sleeping for a while, she was a bit groggy, but now she could hear mostly what Roch was saying. Something about getting sent to a different fight? Was he not there with Red? Did he not know then?
Her eyes fluttered open and she took a moment to focus. It was really, really bright compared to the battleground. "Roch where am I?" Danny recognized the gym, but there weren't beds in the gym. There weren't tents either. Perhaps she should have been more concerned about this "seperate fight," but at the moment she was more concerned with her own surroundings. Call it a spoiled demoness habit.
Glancing over, she noticed a note, apparently left for her.
Eat this before you go anywhere.
Danny looked at them and reached out for the spookies. Obviously she was going to take those first. They were spookies. Next came the medication, which tasted like ... well you can imagine, but she drank it anyways, even with a sour expression. It made her feel a little better, but she was still rather sore from sleeping in her bed for so long. Last came the water. She stared at it hesitantly, not really sure what to do with herself. The note clearly said she couldn't leave until she had it .... but ...
Danny looked at Roch for advice.
