At first, it was obvious that at first she wanted to say 'yes ofcourse in heartbeat' but she steadied herself when she remembered why she didn't say something before. How she would do anything to see him again, she clenched her fist, "If the rules are as they are now, no. It may sound cowardly but I don't think it is worth loose one's life over... especially if it isn't returned. At that point I'd be glad to let them kill me, I couldn't live with myself after taking such a risk. Then again I wouldn't have to watch him die at the hands of that b*****d."
"However, if the rules weren't there...yes I would. Even if it meant loosing all the hard earn respect from my troops and be seen as favoritism was the bases for the decisions he makes." she sighed a little. Still with the rules as they are she regrets not letting him know at all how she felt.

Nova Blancke "Dragon Slayer huh? Now that's a rare thing these days. Those existed when dragons caused trouble centuries ago. These days there aren't that many left due to the Dragon Hunts. Those that did survive grew to hate humans. Explains why the dragon-kin aren't too fond of humans themselves." "But about the whole fire breathing...I think it is standard for most dragons. I cannot say for sure because to be frank....I haven't met that many. Only one. And I can assure you that he does, in fact breathes fire" Kerana felt a little ashamed for saying she wanted to add 'Dragon Slayer' to her skill set. She forgot for a moment that these creatures are endangered. Kerana looked out the window and saw Alejandro, she wondered how long it would take for those bounty hunters to come back. She noticed he was hiding his face. Why do the cute ones have to hide their faces... well... at least Nova isn't... she looked back to Nova. A different question came to surface, "Who sent you? How did you find out about Trinity?"

Nova was genuinely surprised by this. He didn't think Kerana would ask that. It had thrown him off guard but he recovered fast enough.
"My my Kerana those are not questions you should ask to someone when you are alone with that person. What if that person is not on your side and would kill you to keep his real objective a secret?" Nova said a bit intimidating.
The atmosphere around him became normal again as he put on a smiling face once more." What I am trying to say is that you need to know when and when you cannot ask such questions foxy. I am on your side but future companions might not be."
"But to answer your question, nobody sent me and as I told Trinity I ...knew people among the Paladins who had told me about her."

Kerana felt threatened by his intimidation and was thinking about calling for help. But calmed down when he smiled. She took in his lesson about certain questions and planned to keep that in mind when she asked. "Well... I guess the others are waiting for us down stairs huh?"

With an enthusiastic nod she lead the way down stairs to find the table... empty but with food served and covered. One smelt of steak, one smelt like fish while the third... was on more than one plate... it was practically a small feast. "Well the food is here but it looks like the people aren't." She tilted her head causing her ears to be uneven.

Trinity nodded, "Take all the time you need. We'll be down there when you're ready.". With that she stepped out of the room and closed the door behind her. I hope he thinks long and hard before acting... Or not acting for that matter.
She joins Kerana and Nova downstairs and the smell food was getting to her. She noticed Alejandro wasn't there,she thought she told him to stay and wait for the food. She shrugged it off, "Has anyone seen Alejandro?"

"No, I asked him to come down when I went upstairs. But if he is not here and not upstairs either then he should be outside. Most likely with his cloak to hide the wings."

Alec looks through his book for the first time. He had always just made additions to it without ever really taking the time to actually see the work he has done in the past. He can hardly believe how much he has compiled over the years. He makes note of the pages he's had to add due to running out. He muses how if he flips the pages he can almost watch Kerana grow up.
"I wonder what she would say if she saw this." He thinks to himself. It then occurs to him that she has always asked about the book and about what he was always doing with his nose in it. He lies to her every time she asks. A deep feeling if regret and guilt balls up in his stomach. Not just hiding it from her, but lying to her about it is nearly more than he can stand.
He closes the book slowly. His head hangs as he thinks about what may happen in the next few hours.

Kerana kept looking around, "Where's Alec?"asked as he kept looking. Her tail was whirling around a little, nervous and worried she seemed. She didn't like being without Alec for so long, perhaps it is a sign but she wanted to be sure and didn't want to jump into things especially something so life threatening. She wouldn't forgive herself is something happened to Alec.

Alejandro Inazuma As if right on cue, Alejandro walked back into the tavern. "Hey, did I miss anything?" He asked as he took a small look around. Everything looked the same, but somebody was missing. He couldn't remember, and decided to leave it at that.
