"M....Morange...morange." Yuki babbles as she nibbles on the other slice while Senente was puzzled,"I dont understand? Rai do you know?" he comes from behind hearing Yuki babble again. "Hmmm, I think shes trying to say orange.....Sen! she's trying to speak again." Both of them looks at Yuki and Senente looked at her,"Sweetie can you say mommy? slowly Mo-mmy.....can you try?" Yuki tilts her head and mouths out the 'm' sound but barks,"Ommy?.....ommy." and starts to tear knowing it wasnt right but Senente picked her up. "Its ok....your trying and thats all that counts right now....your trying try again or wait....try daddy?"


Yuki looks at Raiku and struddles to get a 'd' sound in her mouth but Senente trys to make the noise letting her hear it and Yuki tries again,"a......ad.....addy.....addy." both of them sigh. "Well at least she gave it a shot she just needs to practice English again Yuki....try fruit." Raiku says as Yuki looks behind to the bowl and just tilts her head,"Mew" Senente just smiles hearing the curiosity sound and infamous tilt,"Awwww Rai shes so cute....such a adorable thing she does." she says hugging her close, Yuki yawns slightly and balls up into Senente's arms twitching her ear making both of them smile as Raiku came to the girls petting Yuki's ear.


"Wow you know what? I never knew how tiny Yuki was, I can barely see her in your arms." "Well we have to remember the nova and since that her growth was stunted.....I realized that at school, all the kids her age are regular height while Yuki is almost a foot shorter then them....she'll grow though, she will." Senente says hugging Yuki and heading up the stairs, Raiku looks by his room and smirks,"Well good night girls...Sen" he says shutting the door while she placed Yuki in her blanket bundle watching her asleep on the blanket that was enormous for her,"Rai right.....such a tiny little thing." she says kissing Yuki's forhead as her ear twitched.

He looks up to her a little surprised since the last time they discussed it Senente wanted her to be taught by someone at the school but hearing this was a surprise. "Um....well I guess since I have permission...I guess I can, yeah sure I can." just as he said that Yuki's ears twitch upward and pops her head up and awake,"Mew mew!" Senente looks down at her,"You like that idea honey?...daddy teaching you taijitsu?" Yuki squirms out of her grasp running around her feet in a circle as Raiku chuckles seeing Senente's face from trying not to swish her from her confusing patter,"Yuki please calm down you'll trip mommy....honey?" Raiku barks her name and Yuki stops and looks at him one ear up and the other down then paws on his jeans.



"T...te..teach, teachie, teachie now?" to him it was another surprise she wanted to get started imediatly and that she remembered she wanted to do that,"Ok then you wanna start? then lets go outside.....a little match Sen?" she nods and the three of them go outside in the back with Raiku pointing up to the trees,"See them, I'll let you use them for your advantage." Yuki mews noding as she goes to one side and Raiku on the opposite.


Senente comes in the middle readying the two,"One on one Raiku versus Yuki ready....set....fight!" Yuki lunges on all fours picking up speed to ram him but Raiku spots her and dodges to the left out of her path, she claws into the ground to hault herself and comes at him again,"Go get him Yuki!" Senente shouts watching her run again and again as Raiku dodges. Yuki climbs onto a trunck and lunges with her claws out then Raiku grabs her arm swinging her above his head slamming Yuki on the ground with a yelp,"Raiku dont be so rough take it easy." but as she shouts the two refuse to listen to her,a couple minutes go by and from Senente's view it was a one way fight with Raiku not showing a shove of being easy coming at Yuki with a wrath of punches and kicks hard enough to knock her down landing with great force, he almost forgot he was actually fighting a younger opponet especially his daughter but it seemed he had blacked out and was lost out of reality. Yuki claws up to a trunk to hide panting and bleeding she went up to recover, she feels a cough coming and when she did blood spilled from her mouth as she choked on it but turns suddenly as she sees Raiku come from above slamming his fist into her stomach as she fell out from the tree landing on her back. "Raiku stop! your hurting her....Rai stop!" Senente yells till a loud yelp and comes in the middle of the two,Raiku stops as Yuki collaspes to the ground coughing blood.

Senente gets inside the lobby panting but looks up,"Nurse my daughter got into an accident and I have no idea whats wrong but shes coughing blood." The nurse looks franticly seeing how small Yuki was with her mouth covered in blood,"Right this way M'am it might be critical." she says paging a team to get her, a red haired doctor rushes out looking at the condition. "It looks like we might have internal bleeding whats the situation?" Senente looks in a panic worried what to say but figure something out,"She was training....and....the training got too far and..."


The doctor puts a hand to her shoulder,"I understand....well let me take her in so we can examine her,Nurse Ayume can you take Ms.Hatchi to the lobby for me." Senente tries to let Dr.Takoyo take her but Yuki's hand was latched to Senente's finger,"Mo....mo..dont weave me ommy." she says tears coming on her cuts,"Pwease dont weave me." Senente was about to tear herself but try to assure her it was alright,"Honey its alright Dr.Takoyo is gonna help you.....trust me sweetie just stay awake for just a moment."


Yuki looks up to her nuzzling Senente's hand then slowly lets go, Senente didnt want to leave her but Ayume assited her calmly back to the lobby. Two hours go by as she waits for any updates but sits and pace getting up most of the time till he finally came up and approached her,"Ms.Hatchi we took many tests and its worse then we thought....she broke two ribs possibly from a strong impact to a blunt object..." Senente replays what happened and remembers Raiku kicking her hard slamming her into a tree but listens on,"She does have internal bleeding but we were able to stop it just in time, I'm glad you brought her here when you did...I never saw so much damage from a child that tiny yet she held on tightly.Anyways shes stable but we decided to put her in the ICU to moniter her."


He finishes putting a hand on her shoulder as she starts to tears more,"Yuki.....battered up like that form....her own father." Dr.Takoyo nods and goes to the front desk with Yuki's vitals and charts then leaves,Nurse Ayume taps Senente on the back,"Um if you wish you can see her, she might not respond to you but possibly might be resting...come on I'll take you in." Senente gets up following her into the ICU looking for the room number and finds it down the hall. "Yuki dear your mommy is here to see you." Ayume says opening the door and Senente enters.

Raiku eased his grip slightly trying to calm her down,"Sen please....I need to know...how bad is the damage I caused." She looks at him backing out of his grasp showing anger,"You.....broke two of her ribs with your constant kicks, and she had internal bleeding....all because you didnt ease up on her what were you thinking?!" "I....I just couldnt stop, when we fought it was like I .....blacked out." Raiku tries to grab her again but she backs firther away holding tears. "You.....you black out? thats your excuse?....the reason our daughter is laying here clinging on to her life.....and all you could say was you didnt know? its obvious Raiku and you know it....you beat up Yuki till she fell."



Raiku looked at her shock and lowers his head by the window staring outside,"Sen...I know your very angry with me I dont blame you, what I did was wrong and yet the guilt building inside me is growing every second....dont you think I dont feel bad for what I've done shes laying her fighting to live because of me." Raiku's shoulders start to shiver as he started to sob looking at Yuki and the damage he caused with his own hands....the guilt was building up enough to break him down. "If you hate me to the core then I dont blame you....I deserve your anger for the thing I did." he looks to Yuki,"Sweetie daddy's so sorry for what happened, daddy didnt mean to hurt you so much to this....I'm so sorry Yuki."

Ayume walks in the room,"Um Mr. and Ms. Hatchi? we really want Yuki to rest while she tries to heal but I have unfortunate news to say." both of them look at her as she clears her throat to speak,"Well with the damage she has the injuries are quite severe with her small body....the healing will take some time so far the window is four to six weeks but it could rise to almost two to three months. Dr Takoyo wants to make sure with her body structure so small that the injuries can heal properly and with physical therapy we can get her to move on her own....I'm sorry for the news but it had to be said."


Senente bursts out into tears having to leave Yuki there for quite a long time all because of a small incident,"You see....you see what you caused because of your antic...now she needs physical therapy to heal properly....Raiku Hatchi.....I cant believe you did this." just as she said that he places the locket around her neck while she moped to herself and was at the doorway gone. She looks up and sees him gone then looks at Yuki hearing her breathe lightly through the mask,"Honey....dont worry you'll get better like big brother says all the time....your a fighter and you'll always be just rest and get stronger." she says watching her wishing she could just mew once for her just to give her comfort.

Cyrus slowly drew closer to her face, his voice in a metallic tone almost putting her into a trance,"Cant you see my dear you dont need a man like that who beats up on mere children when a fight breaks out...look and see that with me you can have it all, being empress and having a man who wont hurt you or the girls." Senente was out from reality as her mind was within the same area as it was before in the nightmare while in reality she was staring at nothing. Dr.Takoyo comes in,"Ms.Hatchi I just wanted to know it Yu-" he stops and sees what was happening reconizing the shade of red her eyes had change and calls Ayume in, she comes in thinking it was a emergency but her grabs her arms looking by the doorway,"Its him....he's trying to take that women away....just like the poor souls he used as servants and used them for blood till they ran dry....now this."


She looks at Senente and knew the situation clear,"Your right....we have to intervine." They both nod and rushes out knowing what they had to do. Cyrus was making his move closer getting Senente comfortable as if she was going to accept his offer,"Now my darling why dont you come with me and leave the life in the aura realm and join the darkness that is the shadow ream...rule with me." she looks up to him eyes dull red close to being consumed before a shout is heared breaking his concentration."Hault! please Ms. Hatchi dont go for his trickery....we beg of you snap out of it!" the tranced Senente looks up and is snatched by a streak of pink light as an orange beam hit Cyrus to the ground and drags.


What Senente wasnt seeing was that it was Ayume and Dr Takoyo who had came into the trance trying to help her,"Luke! blast him a few more times while I get her out of here quickly!" Ayume calls as she glided with Senente in her arm getting her out of the barrier,"No! your not going to take my new wife!" Cyrus shouts as he slammed Luke but he gets up everytime to take another blast keeping him down. As soon as Ayume thought Senente was safe she goes back to help him as her hands start to glow joining with his as orange and pink combined together to make a web keeping Cyrus in his place as they sealed him once again locking the nightmare so nothing could go in or out....they locked it tight.


"Ms. Hatchi?......M'am are you alright please wake up please we beg of you." she wakes head foggy as she sees herself in a bed with Ayume and Dr.Takoyo hovering above her,"Wha...what happened? I thought I saw-" "Your safe now...it was the man we all feared as alive and in death...he was going to take you and forever you would be his blood bank till you died." Ayume says quietly as Senente tried to get around,"We should of known this might happened but fear not.....he wont get you again he is sealed once again." Senente looks up vision still a tad blurred but she could almost see as Dr.Takoyo's eyes were glowing orange as Ayume's were glowing pink,"This is a dream...it must be a dream." Senente says as she tries to come back into reality as the two hoped they didnt blow their identity that she would think it was all in her head.

At first Senente had no clue who would want to see her privatly but how Ayuke sounded it the situation was important,Ayume escorted her to another greenhouse hidden from everything,"So Ayume.....who is it?" "Its not just who but whom there." Confused they enter and Raiku is waiting by a few herbs,"Rai....Raiku?" she says coming at him in a huge hug as he embraces her,"Sen...I...I'm sorry for all this, how Yuki is hurt and how you were almost taken from me again." Senente was wide eyed how did he found out?, but Raiku sighs holding her tightly.


"Ayume and Dr.Takoyo told me everything....Cyrus returned and tried to take you away as his wife and wanted to take the children with you.....I will never allow that to happen and I am glad to the core you are alright but I think theres an explanation for everything....were needed to know more." Ayume looks at Takoyo came out of hiding with a mirror in his hand,"Hatchis....I do believe you know this woman well enough....she knows you." Raiku looks to the mirror then to him,"You....you mean-" Ayume nods as she touches the mirror and a white glow appears with Shiro in the mirror. Both were surprised that they clutch close together but Shiro eases their worry.


"Fear not my children for I have been seeing and sensing my late husband's grasp once again,Raiku...Senente...there is an explanation to these two before you, my shadow guardians reveal yourselves to them." she says as Ayume and Takoyo remove their bands revealing moons on their foreheads,"Ayume and Luke or as you know as Dr.Takoyo are Lokchaions as well explaing why its them treating Yuki, they ran from the shadow realm almost twenty years ago getting weary from Cyrus's grip of power watching their love ones be killed in front of them with nothing they could do...you may of thought Yuki and Everest were the only ones but these two escaped and since then became my loyal shadow guardians bringing me news and updates."


Senente thinks back from the nightmare and realized when she woke that their eyes were pink and orange thinking it was her mind just making tricks but hearing this now made it reality,"So....Yuki and Everest are not the only non humans in this realm....I never would've known." Raiku looks down at her hugging her close. Shiro tells more of what has happened and why there was a sudden bond between Yuki and the doctors,"So then you two are Lokchaion and guardians to the shadow realm....what do we have to do with this?" Raiku ask and Ayume sighs. "Shiro wants us to give you any guidence you would need and if sudden attacks are to come in the future then we will be honored to assist you and the royal majesty and lady Nightshade."


Both of them bow low showing honor to Senente and Raiku never realizing something like this was closer then Skyline. "Well with this said we shall leave you two...after all we have to keep our identities hidden since we are known as a doctor and nurse...we shall see you if you need us....for anything." Luke says and he and Ayume take their leave as the mirror fades.

Senente looks up to Raiku and he sighs,"Sen...i know what just happened was a lot but you know still....my guilt for what I've done is deep and I regret ever-" just as he finished Senente puts a finger to his mouth."No...I already forgave you long ago and theres no need to think I will hate you....I know you love her too much to hurt her on purpose, theres too much pure heart inside you to let anything come between us." The two stay in their embrace as raiku slowly dips his face kissing her knowing everything was starting to build up piece by piece.

Raiku stirs as he hears Senente cry in her sleep and wakes coming to her,"Sen....Sen....Se. hey its alright its just another dream please wake up its alright." She wakes up from his voice and looks around in a panic, Raiku calms her down."Rai it was terrible I thought Cyrus was yanking me away from you and...and-" "Calm yourself....I told your even Shiro and the guardians said it as well, hes not gonna get you as long as Ayume and Luke are around....you and the girls are safe." Senente cuddles next to him shaking as he rubbed her back easeing her crying to a soft sniffle.


She looks up by the bed seeing Yuki asleep,"How is she? did anything happen while I was asleep?" "Nope, she's just been sleeping but I think her breathing approved a tad." Senente gets up watching Yuki's breathing hearing it a little rough but it was decent and smiles,"Well thats good enough for now maybe she'll improve later in the morning but still..." she thinks knowing Yuki would have to go through physical therapy to help her get mobile again,Raiku sees her and hugs her.


"Theres nothing to worry about...our baby will get well remember shes a fighter right? so this will be nothing she cant take on." wiping her tears Senente smiles at him knowing he was right and yawns. "Alright I think its time we both get some rest Yuki will be here in the morning and so will we." Raiku says laying Senente back on the couch, he then sits in his chair and drifts off a little watching Senente till she fell asleep again,after a couple minutes they were both asleep. Morning comes quietly as Senente stirs awake slowly looking at the ceiling,"I slept through the night....thanks to Raiku." she says looking at him and looks to see Ayume at Yuki's bed checking her vitals and looks up.

"Oh! I didnt mean to startle you Ms.Hatchi...I was just checking on Yuki, her breathing is rough so I put a vapor in her mask to clear her airway." she says as Senente looks her Yuki hearing a very weak mewing,"Mew.....mew." she says in her sleep.

Ayume places her hand onto Senente pushing her down to sit,"Ms.Hatchi please dont worry yourself more....what I mean is to go home with you,Dr Takoya thinks she would do better in an enviorment she knows and gain strength being around her family....we talked about it and think it would be best because-" she pauses getting Senente worried."What? what would happened if she stayed we dont mind her here if its cost we could find ways."

Ayuke looks to her in concerned,"If Yuki stayed her longer I fear she would get sicker from the hospital's medicine and have to be transfered from ICU to the hyperventilated chamber where she would be in a coma for who knows when....we believe once her airway clears and ribs heal slightly Yuki can be sent home to finish recovering at home with you and have to only come to Skyline for physical therapy." Senente is quiet for a moment and thinks about it knowing how delicate her tiny body was that they would have to be more careful with her."I'm trusting you Ayume....you and Dr,Takoyo I know you know whats the best especially since well.......you know are Lokchaion and know what is best for young shadow beings." she says feeling better that she could bring Yuki back home and be comfortable back home with everyone together.

Ayume could see and sense what Senente was feeling and sighs,"It'll be alright just two more weeks and she'll have enough strength for the trip home but as soon as she does come home keep her comfortable and try not to touch her too much.....and once a couple days go by she'll return for therapy to gain her mobility and fear not it'll be tough at first and it will look like she is being hurt it'll all be alright." Ayume says to her and adds more vapor to Yuki's mask before leaving the room.
