I brush out my hair and stand. "Okay. Lets go." I walk out the door of the small apartment, and walk through the fighting. It seemed, so much like waste. I shake my head and sigh. There was still so much to do. So much to think of...... Wait, who the hell was I?! "WHAT THE HELL?!" I duck as three assault rifles are aimed at us and fired. Jurdean comes up and destroys their weaponry. I come up, swinging with all my might. We subdue them and I grab one of the unfazed weapons. Jurdean grabs a sword and we continue on. I do my best with the new weapon.

We get to our destination. I look over the gates to it. As Azelus, I had been planning to go here. It was a military compound that housed a whole array of things. I slide down to the gate, and the man scans my hand. It comes up, despite what the angel did, that I was Azelus, and was allowed to go in. He straightens and moves aside. Inside, there were robots, metal birds, helicopters with two rotors on either side, large jets, men moving in perfect formations. It looked like a true modern army. Not like Yuki's, the alliance, or any of them. They had guns, and swords that were on fire with light. They had cars, and other things. I marvel at them, as does Jurdean. "The real military of mankind..... At least, that is what it looks like." A man solutes me and comes over. "What.... is this?"

"Welcome to Lackland Air Base of the old United States of America." He says. "We have transformed it into what we now use as the United Races Armed forces." I let my jaw drop. "We have been training for God knows how long. We were told by a man that we would be called on eventually. Azelus was is name. But, he did not look like you." I explain to him the story, and he believes it. "Randell. Nice to remake your acquaintance. You are no doubt here to get trained in the extensive training reality."

"Um, sure?" I am lead underground into a bunker, that had several virtual reality rooms. I go into the one that I am told into, and for what seems to be three years, I am trained in the art of being a soldier. I am trained in martial arts, and such. When I come out though, it had been one day. He holds out to me my weapon. I grab it, solute, and go to see Jurdean. "One day, I learned all that?! It was three years man!" Jurdean watches me carefully.

"No, it was not. Anyway, come, lets go see Sara, since now you are ready as your former self wanted." We leave the base, me piloting a large helicopter. (They look remarkably similar to the one is Avatar actually. But, they are different in my won visualization. Just picture those if you need a visual.) There was another behind me full of people who apparently were to help me. I could remember setting all this up some time ago, but right now, it all seemed to be going so fast for me.

Her castle comes into view on the horizon as our two gunships come upon it. We land on a small flat spot large enough for them and disembark. I shoulder my rifle, and Jurdean grabs his new sword. The men at my back all shoulder theirs, and a soldier of hers comes out. He gapes at the gunships. Then he whistles and a large airship appears. I curse, and me and another pilot jumps into the gunships. I coax mine alive, as bullets hail down. They bounce off, doing little damage, and we are up in the air. I whirl around and open fire, the missiles rip though the walls of the airship and explode. We fill it with missiles and bullets. Soon, it is falling to the ground. I land again, and emerge. Bodies everywhere. All of my men stood there, waiting at attention. Jurdean sheaths his sword, and we walk into the castle.

She sends more out, and we use our.... well.... rather smarter and more advanced tactics to destroy her men. "Wow, you guys sure have trained, huh?" I ask the man next to me. He smiles and nods. I watch Jurdean as he slices through their armor like butter. Then I get an idea. I run out the way we came, and jump into the gunship. I reel into the sky and come up to where I thought they were. I look on my thermal (blessed thing I love) and see I was dead on. I blow the wall to smithereens and navigate into it. Her men see this and start to retreat a bit. I blow them to the ground with a hail of bullets from my guns. Then I turn slightly, the huge corridors were great for this thing. I blow the doors down and then I see her shadow. I blow it up and scan the room. The others inspect for something, but we come up empty handed. I land, and the ground officer comes to meet with me. I decide to go out of the castle and start to sweep for heat sigs. Upon one screen, a find them. I smile, and tell them were to plant charges inside to get to the room they are in. When I hear they are in, I blow the wall out and navigate inside the castle once again. I land the heli and get out. "Yuki Khilack, please, stop the Quells. My men all point their guns at her, should she move, she would die. Point blank, I had too many men. I sure did hope she realized that. Either way, I get back in, and start my heli up. I aim my turrets at her, and wait for her decision.

I give the signal to stop, launching a single missile just behind her. It works and she is off balance. I riddle the ground at her feet with bullets. The cockpit seemed like the place to be for some reason. I smile as she gets the hint. "Look, you think this is all we have? There about a few thousand of these gunships back where I got this one from. Your military is out dated. We have missiles, we have swords that are energized. I could always just go to the site of the Quells also. Drako knows where it is. He was there for chrissake!" My rotors was creating a huge amount of wind, Jurdean was flying along side me with his wings, his sword pointed at her. "Please, just quit the Quells."

I keep ahold of the yolk, thinking about it. My men stand there, their weapons aimed. I land, and disembark. I shoulder my own weapon. "Good, I do think you will like the diplomacy options." That is when I shoot her. Twice in the midsection. I watch her hit the ground, and her spirit thing snarls at me. Then, the eared man appears. He moves to her. The spirit does nothing, but whimpers. I watch as the eared man and his apprentice grab her and I knew what he was doing. They were taking that evil spirit from her. I hoped they succeeded.

I grab her when they are done, and throw her and two of the combat medics into my heli. I fly back to Lackland. When we are there, I radio. "Medics! We have a wounded female, between the ages of seventeen to twenty! Two gunshots to the midsection." They come out, stretcher in hand, and take her back. I wait outside her door for her to come back from the brink. Jurdean finds his way back and finds me. He waits. The doctors come out and nod. I sigh relieved. "Good." I go in, she had an I.V. in one arm, and had a machine filtering her blood. I sit watching for her to come to. A soldier comes in, and tells me that, despite the difficulties of finding the Arena, they had and they had evacuated it. I smile grateful, and wait for her to come back to.

When she awakes, I start to sniffle. "Good, I would have felt terrible for killing Hitomi's sister..." I joke lightly. She would be furious with me.... both of them! "But now, now that you are rid of evil..... You can bring peace to all the Universe!" I watch her from my chair across the room. I would not risk getting up, should she start getting upset and run from the room. The machine filtering her blood would disconnect, she could bleed out. "Yuki, you are on Earth, in a human facility, where they saved your life. Those things hooked into you are only there to help." I read from the card the doc gave me to read. Then I hang out the door and call the nurse she comes in, and I leave. I walk up to my gunship and clean it.

"Lieutenant Colonel Maxus!" I hear out. I stand at attention next to my gunship as he comes up to me. "Your Scorpion looks nice. I heard you did what you said you were going to. Good. Here, I instate you as a full time pilot. Good luck." Then he leaves. I go back to cleaning it.

I pull back on the yolk as hard as I can. My rotors swivel back, and I am pulling back from the ground. "Randell! Hit the thrust!" I do as I am told, and I save myself from hitting the ground.

"Come on baby...." I coax my machine back up. I wipe my brow when it pulls back into the air. I set it back down as the others do. We all get out and shake each other's hands. Then I get back to see Hitomi. "Your awake, good. I do hope that you feel better." I sit in the seat next to her bed. "I am sorry, but I had to incapacitate you so that the evil could be taken out. The wounds shall heal, that is why I shot you where I did."
