As Rollin slept, there was a small rustle in the bushes.

Jesse heard the rustle and held her closer. He looked over in the direction it came from.

A cute little fox emerge from the bushes but had an injured leg as he hobbled in view. he whimpered in pain.

He sighed in relief and smiled. "Poor little guy. Come here. Let me see your leg." He said cllmy as he held a hand out towards the fox.

The fox looked over at Jesse and hobbled over to him as he shook from the cold. he gave him innocent eyes.

Jesse ripped the bottom part of his shirt off then gently picked the fox up and wrapped it's leg. "There you go. Just relax here by the fire with us." He said as he set it down carefully in a spot where the snow was gone.

the fox looked at Jesse and curled his tail close to him. The wound stung a little but if felt better than left untreated.

Jesse smiled at the fox and gently pet it. He looked down at Rollin who was still asleep and kissed the top of her head.

The fox whimpered happily feeling being petted against Jesse's warm, smooth stroke."I can't sleep...." Rollin moaned.

Jesse looked at her. "Rollin?" He wasn't sure if she was talking her sleep or if she really couldn't sleep.

Rollin looked at Jesse,"I really can't..." she frowned.

He looked at her. "It's ok, just relax. If you can't sleep then just lay here and relax." He said to her. He stroked her hair and started to hum a soft lullaby.

Rollin's body relaxed as she smiled and looked up at the sky. She took in the soft lullabye that Jesse hummed.

He closed his eyes, relaxing a bit as he continued to hum. He could hear the sounds of the animals running about in the trees and under the bushes.
