Worked out like crazy today, did 40 (an increase of 15 minutes since i started working out) minutes of my regular cycling at 30 miles an hour full resistance on the stationary bike, and did 2 seperate 5 minute sprints on the bike at full speed (54 mph seems to be my top speed for now) the floor was a puddle of sweat when i finished and my legs are still jello. I think its time to start doing some weight training for my arms though. My biceps are dwarfed by my calves. I also need to cut down from about 2800 calories a day to like 1600 and drink more water and less of everything else.

Went grocery shopping for some staple stuff like pasta's and rice and potato's. Went to go buy some pants and shoes as well but remembered i bought new shoes like 6 months ago when they were cheap and pants shopping just failed miserably because when they make pants that i like they just don't fit my calves and thighs but they fit my waist just fine.

Oh and i cut my hair and trimmed my beard, kinda thinking about shaving it off but haven't decided yet.

How the heck do you manage 2800 calories? I have to work to get even close to 2000. emo

Pretty much an issue of portion. Say the average person might eat...i don't know a cup of pasta (small pieces, cooked) with marinara sauce and meatballs or say pesto and chicken whichever they prefer and have a piece of garlic bread the size of say their palm on the side. I on the other hand would be eating 2 cups of pasta, twice as much meat and probably two pieces of garlic bread the same size.
So i eat generally twice as much as what a regular serving size is so 2800 calories add's up fast. I got used to eating this way when i was working out 5-6 day's a week at the gym doing a ton of weightlifting plus working 3rd shift in a warehouse lifting and stacking stuff all night.

If you really want to increase your calorie intake...figure out at regular intervals between your meals (if you have a regular meal schedule) a good time to eat like half a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. It's a lot of protein but the rest is carbs and sugar so i wouldn't eat that all day..but peanut butter and apples, or banana's on a sandwhich of whole grain bread really packs a lot of calories especially if you're heavy on the peanut butter.

(i just realized that while i typed that up i was eating dinner, so i added up my calories in dinner and i'm at right around 1000 calories in dinner alone...about 1/3rd of that being from fat so i'm not exactly eating healthy here in order to put away my 2800 calories a day which say's a lot about what would happen with some healthy choices and roughly 1200 fewer calories a day)

My boyfriend wiped my laptops hard drive and upgraded to the new OS. I love doing this. It's like having a brand new computer. The new OS is different too so it makes it all the more special. :3

@ Teh_plague: I can pack away quite a bit given my smaller frame. I can easily eat two+ cups of rice pasta - just pasta. Add vegetables, sauce, olive oil and a salad on top of that.

My problem is that my body doesn't tell me when I'm hungry. I just had a banana - it's 7:22pm. Last time I ate was 9:30am which was a bowl of cereal with almond milk. I now have a calorie counter which has an "alert" (no sound, just pops up on my phone) the problem with that is it pops up when there's no food* source around. Then I forget I'm hungry or should eat and before I know it, it's bed time. Lame excuses but at least I admit there's a problem! xd

* I'm my own worse enemy. I the most processed food I'll eat is a bagel and even then only if I'm light headed/headachy. Bread makes me ookyies. Nearly all vegetarian foods have tomatoes in them which give me pains. I won't eat meat unless I know for sure it's free range. My body is a Maserati and needs high end fuel. In a perfect world, I'd eat at La Rua three times a day. (Or the Bearfoot Bistro.) Oh my, I wish I could get myself some sable fish. I could totally eat the sable fish and the venison and the duck all in one sitting. *drool* So homesick. ;_;

I finished making Thesetoday.

I've included links to the others I've made, 4 different colors so far.
Any recommendations to how much an individual rose should be?

Today i managed to consume 600 calories...2200 less than an average day to me...just to see the difference and whether i notice a lot of hunger pangs and honestly i'm just plain not all that hungry so its kind of weird. Going to see how i feel eating 600-1000 calories a day for the next week or so while i'm working out for 1-2 hours a day. (no work work though because i have all week off)

@Ta Lu- what are the materials used in making them? i think that would have a huge impact on the cost. I know silk flowers aren't cheap but plastic is. Very nice none the less.

@pirhan - Congrats on the new OS. As for not feeling hungry...i don't know how to solve that other than setting an alarm on your cell phone every 1.5-2 hours that say "consume 300 calories now" or something.

Today my boyfriend tried waking me up by poking my face. I didn't wake up and then he told me after I woke up that he poked me in the nose. That jerk. xD

Having problems sleeping at night. I typically sleep hot, but it's gotten really bad, probably because the house stays a constant temperature (hot) even at night. I tried looking it up but found nothing. I'm not pregnant, menopausal, sick or overweight. I only sleep with a thin holey blanket because I like to block the breeze from the open window and humidifier. My boyfriend sleeps like a mummy (because it's cold! he says) and all you can see is his nose. I'm sure we're quite the sight. xd

@ Ta Lu: Nice! It's not something I'd buy, but I'd guess maybe around $5-6? How long does it take you to make and how much are the materials? Are they for anything special or just for home use?

@ Teh_plague: Good luck with your calories! Did you manage to get the P90 DVD's from your friend?

It depends on the size of the ribbon, if its 2cm and wired, then it will take about 15 minutes to make one. If its satin, it might take a little longer because its harder to handle.

My mother runs a gift shop and people are always looking for a little something to add to their valentines day chocolate, and don't really dig the fuzzy fake flowers that can be found everywhere. I once sold a bouquet of tissue paper roses, that I made out of boredom and to decorate a vase she was selling, and ended up selling the bouquet and the vase together.

Just woke up at 7am today to go shovel the driveway and sidewalk so my sister could go to work. Probably about 7 inch's of snow on the ground so it took me a solid hour to do the driveway, sidewalk, clean off the car, shovel the porch, shovel out the end of the driveway again because the snow plow's plowed it in after i shoveled it out the first time, and clean off the car again.
I went to bed at 4....awesome.

@pirhan: i've got 6 of the dvd's but i have no clue as to the order i'm supposed to do them in or whatever because i don't have the guide since my buddy just downloaded them off some torrent site lol. Plus i have little to no flexibility in my back and legs so a lot of the workouts are pretty impossible for me at the moment. Once i get to a healthy weight i should be able to work on the flexibility.

@Ta Lu: So if you figure out how many you can make from a roll of ribbon, in say 1 hour, pay yourself like 8 bucks an hour plus the cost of materials and divide that by the number of flowers you get and theres a good starting point on your price if they don't sell at that price point lower it a quarter or so, but if they do sell and they sell quickly you've got a reasonable demand for them so you could increase your price to match the demand. I do the same with knives i make but instead of how many i can make per hour, it's how many hours it takes to make one.

Today I sighed very sadly because I woke up to more snowing and a wonderful surprise of an ich outbreak in my favorite tank. Forget chemicals, it's the salt/heat treatment for me.
