mehi laughs and sits next to her.

Still looking around and catching her breath, tanpopo looked at mehi "Fun wasnt it?" Her neko ears twitched as she heard a faint rattle of the bushes. Not turning her head, she whispered to mehi. "We are being watched....." She pointed her tail to the source of the sound, still not moving her head.

Danae narrowed her already narrow eyes to get a better view of the two. They seemed to be enjoying themselves. It seemed odd to see other people here. It was a goddess spring. In my time, this would have been a quiet sanctum, a place of worship and peace. She shook her head. That was the old her talking. Times have changed... This may be peace for them now... It is still a holy place, it is just a new way. She closed her eyes. It had been so long since she had seen ew people. She was afraid of introducing herself. She had been burned in the past.... They live such short lives. Never forget...

Taking a deep breath, she stepped out from her hiding spot. She was still a ways away from the two, but in plain view. This was her spring. Why should she hide? She sat down, and watched the water ripple with hooded eyes. It was nice, not being alone. She didn't need to talk to them, the fact that there was another presence where she had been forever solitary was enough.

Danae smiled softly at her, although a little shocked at her bluntness. She gently reminded herself that people and times had changed. Tucking some of her short Hair behind her ears, she replied, "I am Danae." She rubbed the bridge of her nose, and hoped she wasn't burning. She hated her pale skin, considering she spent so much time outside.

She eyeballed Tanpopo's Ears and tail. "If you don't mind my asking..." She began stiffly polite "What manner of creature are you, and your companion? Forgive my rudeness, but I have not seen ears like yours in a very, very long time." She nodded and continued trying to class the two in her mind while waiting for an answer.

"Never saw a Neko before." Danae shook her head, and crossed her legs. "I'm a Naiad... Or um... I guess that's a water goddess." She shook her head. "I'm not quite a water goddess. Not nearly that powerful. I'm the goddess of one particular spring or fountain. In this case, this spring actually." She smiled.

"There aren't very many of us left, but we're around if you look. What is the world like these days?" She still spoke with a strange accent, and very formally. "I haven't seen it in a very long time." Danae settled down for a conversation.

She looked down and Danae scowled at her hands. "Not really. I'm not quite an all powerful water goddess. I have influence when I'm in my domain, and I'm not supposed to be able to leave it ever... I found a loophole to that though. I can control water a bit, and any power I do have weakens as I get farther away from my home." She shook her head.

"It's a double edged blade. I um... hmmm... actually.... I could probably grant a wish if I tried. It requires an offering of different magnitudes depending on the wish, but I could probably attempt it...." She said thoughtfully. It had been SOME time since she'd garnted a awish, and that had gone horribly wrong. Only because the bigger a wish got, the greater chances of it going wrong.

"That's about it, I suppose." She smiled. It was her turn for a question now. "Do Nekos have any powers?" Her face full of curiousity.

Mehi popped up behind them suddenly and says, "I am NOT human! I'm a griffen" He was dripping wet. He shook the water off somehow managing not to get at the girls wet with water. He then thinks a moment before saying bashfully, "Well I suppose I am part human..." He frowned thinking, It sucks being somewhat human!
