(lol, this is getting hilarius! I wonder who will get to hte Lady Governor first? Teh humans or Kel? And still be able to get out in less then 8 minutes.... this is going to be great reading LOL! sorry for stealing your char for a bit...)

Dion was running up hte stair to the second floor when the railing next to him exploded in a shower of splinters. "s**t!" Dion swore though his teeth as him and his team slammed themselves against the wall as more of the railing exploded. "Get a UV grenade up there!" Dion order, and one of hte women in his team pulled the sun shaped grenade, pulled hte pin, and threw it towards the third floor. It exploded in a flare of Ultraviolet rays. The Lady Governor was missed, but her bodyguards were crisps of their former selves. Dion nodded towards the stairs and htey moved. But as they reach the top of the flight, the window next to the stairs shattered in an explosion as the Lady entered. Dion raised his rifle just as she raised her handguns. The rest of hte Wastelanders has their weapons trained on the Lady Governor. "So, I'm going to take a guess here. If i'm right, twitch your weapons. If not, well, we'll figure that out then, eh Lady of the Fallen?" Dion asked, his aim unwavering just as hers wasn't. It would all depend on who pulled the trigger first. And Dion was not going to die, not if he could help it.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 27, 2007 3:07 pm

The Lady's eyes narrowed behind her dark shades and her face remained stonic and unreadable. Her aim never wavered. The still living humans, the Vampire Govenor, and herself stood motionless and aimed at eachother for about a minute and a half. Damn, 5 minutes 12 seconds remaining...and the humans knew nothing about it.

Then a flash of movement caught her attetnion out of the corner of her eye. She saw the Lady Govenor, skathely dressed, move to pull something from her bathroom pocket. A weapon.

In a flash The Lady whirled one handgun to blow the Govenoress's right arm off, while the other fired at the humans which made all of them duck for cover. She sprinted towards the screaming and heavily bleeding female Vampire and tackled her as she stood by the third story window. The sound of glass shattering exploded into the night as the two females dissappeared out into the night.

The Govenoress was still screaming and loosing blood quickly, but The Lady had no intention to let her slip away to hell just yet. Quickly grabbing the curtains swaying out of a window on the long drop down, she grabbed them and the two females smashed against the side of the stone building. The Lady grunted a bit in pain, but kept it to herself as she grabbed the woman bleeding to death by the collar of her blouse and brought her up to her face. She was terrified, the The Lady was pissed.

"Due to lack of time, my dear, you have less then seven seconds to tell me where the Court of Council meets, when they meet, and if I like your answers I might put you out of your misery early." She hissed, and born down into the woman's eyes behind her shade.

The woman whimpered, moaned, and tremmbled with pain, fear, and bitter resentment. She obviously wasn't a woman used to being in positions of helplessness, but then again she was a coward who valued her life. But the moment she opened her mouth to speak, a sniper bullet's roud shot right through her skull and splattered brain matter, gore, and blood all over the wall and her capture.

s**t! Quickly The Lady dropped the corpse and clammered up the curtain she hung from. A second shot nearly pierced the side of her face, but she moved and leapt over into the window and behind the cover of stone before the third would have ended up in her skull. s**t...someone had been watching the mansion, or just arrived, and had orders not to let anyone, evern the Lady Govenor live.

Damn, there was no way those bastards could have tracked her from Europe so quickly. Maybe it was these human's they were after, or been hired to assasinate the Lady Governor sometime ago? Damn...the humans.

3 minutes 36 seconds remaining.

Those humans had seen her face. No one saw her and lived, thatwas how she stayed alive or so long. The mission was a bust, she had to get out of here now.

Quickly dodging away from the window as another round came in, The Lady made a bounding leap for the door and continued to run until she came to the end of the balcony within the main hall of the mansion. She jumped, flying past the human soldiers and continued to run. Let them die, it would save her the trouble of tracking them down later.

She shot two more guards on the way out, and made quick work of disappearing into the darkness. However, she made sure to only go far enough from the blast; if the people shooting at her earlier and that killed the Lady Governor were going to check the ruins, she wanted to see who they were.

And make sure...there were no witnesses to her presence.

Dion quickly looked out hte window, and saw hte Layd Governor's head xplode in a gory mass. Sniper rifle, circa Vampire Wars. Railgun if the lack of report meant anything. Damn. Railgun meant whoever had it, with thermal imaging, could hit anyone anyWHERE in hte mansion. Which meant it was time to leave. "WASTELANDERS! RAILER! PELICAN GET OVER HERE AND GET US THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!" Dion yelled, both into the comm unit and the 5 wastelanders in the stairway. The ORCA flew in, quick as possiable, and the Wastelanders boarded, and just as the hatch shut the ORCA took off. The armor on it wasn't designed to protect against a Railer. As hte ORCA retreated, the mansion erupted in a fireball. Dion looked out the 'window' next to him, watching the whole place go up. They got lucky. If Dion hadn't seen the danger, they would have all been dead, killed either by the Railer or by the explosion.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 28, 2007 6:20 am

The bombs set around the perimeter went off flawlessly, turning the night sky around the mansion into the scenery upon the sun. Several of the reinforcement guards had rushed into the mansion before the explosion, The Lady could only hope all of them were incinerated. It was then that she heard the chopper again, looking up, to see it take off with its passengers aboard.

She wasn't angery, or bitter about their escape. She only sighed and walked out of the shadows that masked her presence. Let them go...she doubted they would announce her presence to the enemy anyway, the enemy being the Empire, since they obviously knew she was here. But how? She had been so careful, covered every angle, destoryed the only two witnesses to her departure and arrival...so how was her secret out?

She walked into the burning skeleton of the mansion, flames crackling around her as her eyes scanned the wreckage. The sniper's scope was infered, so in this furnece it would be impossible for the shooter to see her. Even though all vampires radiated cold on infered imageing, she was warm blooded, warm to the touch, and with a very much alive aura. She attributed it to her occupation when she was human...a paladine and servent of God, she assumed it was God allowing her to keep some of her humanity since she couldn't keep all of it.

She shuck her head of the thoughts and then returned to scanning the inferno around her. Dead. All occupants dead. Mission accomplished as far as the body count was concerned, but mission failed as far as information went. She was still no where closer to her goal. She suspected it was time to pay a visit to the humans, these Soldiers in Brown. They were going to be a problem if they continued to do this with every kill she intended to make...and though she didn't believe in the old saying of "an enemy of my enemy is my friend", she doubted that they would turn her over to the VFA. Tch...she hated dealing with those brutes.

It wouldn't be hard to find the humans, after all they had agents everywhere and most likely those in line to recruit. Whether she had to kill for the information or someone cooperated, she would find them.

With that, she melded into the shadows again and vanished.

The ORCA sped it's way back to Purity, landing at the airstrip. Once it touched down, the strike team got out. Unlike for the Lady, their objective was complete, albet not done by them. Still, the Lady Governor was required to die, and die she did. Dion dimissed his unit, and headed for the barracks for some shut eye. He ws nearing 48 hours of wakefulness. Being human, that meant he wasn't going to be operating well unless he got some sleep. True, coffee helped, but it would only work for so long.

In Gor'Chen, formerly known as Chicago, a Man in a brown trench coat was walking towards his 'home'. He was only one of millions of Wastelanders stationed in cities and towns for recruitment. They hid their operations as well as they could, disguising their recruitment centers in ads seeking workers. Anyone who wanted could come. The building was disguised as a pharmacy, well actually, it was both a pharmacy as well as Gor'Chen's recruitment center. The man nodded to the man and woman, Wastelanders disguised as pharmacy techs. He walked towards the door near teh back, and opened it. There was a hallway with stairs going up. The hallway itself led to where the recruitments took place, while the stairs led to the bedrooms. The man went up hte stairs, and walked towards the room farthest down. Once there, he opened hte door and slumped into the bed, ready to start sleeping.

"Well, I see not all humans in this country have the manners I've come to expect in other lands." Came a voice from the shadows behind the door the man had entered from. "Leaving your guest...unattended to."

A hand seemed to materialize out of the darkness and slowly close the open door, a soft click resonated through the room confirming that they were alone. After another pause, the clouds outside of the bedroom window parted, moonlight illuminating the black clad woman with an ethreal glow. Her pale skin in the moonlight looked like delicate porcelin, and the shine from her leather outfit seemed to reflect light onto her golden hair. The most instensly light thing about her was her deep green eyes...pupils widened to accomedate for the darkness of the room. She was leaning up against the wall behind the door, arms crossed, and staring intently at the man who was on the bed.

Slowly, she righted herself and took a few steps towards the man, her boots echoed eerily on the hard wood in the open room. She was now standing just out of the touch of the moonlight, her hair was like a halo around a dark shadow, and she stood looming over the man. Her arms still crossed and her gaze never wavering. She was as beautiful in the lighting as she was intimidating.

"Don't try to call out for help or reach for the gun in the top entable drawer." She said in a smooth and unreadable tone, "And you'd do well not to ask any questions, only give me answers. Tell me truthfully what I want to know, I'll leave as silently as I came in...lie to me or give me answer I don't like...well, let's just say I tend not to leave obstecles alive and in one piece."

Feeling her point was made she gave the man a moment to breath before she started the questioning. According to a man she tracked down spying on the press conference scheduled about the Lady Govenor's mansion exploding, and after a confessional that left the man without life or limb, she had learned that this was the place she needed to be to track down her newest goal. The Wastelanders.

"Tell me: Where is the headquarters of the group of rebel humans called The Wastelanders, and how can I contact them?"

The man had jumped and had begun to reach for the handgun when she told him to not reach for it. Gulping, he waited for the questions, and was relieved to hear them being the ones he most commonaly got from recruities. "The Grand Wastelander's base is at the Green Lake Facility. As for contacting them, that's part of my job. I have to make sure your clean, then I'll get you a transport." The man said, hoping they were what she wanted. If not, well he was going to die sooner or later, so death wasn't a major fear, it just scared him that he couldn't at least attempt to defend himself before he would bite the bullet.

"Hmph, sorry, but I'm not here to sign up." She replied, pulling a 9mm from the holster attatched to her thigh. These were lead bullets, most effective against human opponets. "And I'd much prefer to meet with the Wastelander in person away from where he's most powerful. In short...I want to meet with either him or his highest representitive somewhere away from the base and preferably around an area not far from here." She said and smirked, "You'll have to forgive me...I'm from out of town, so I'm pretty limited on my knowledge of this place."

With that she gave a moments pause, still grinning and seeming to come up with a thought that pleased her. his next answer...would determine whether or not he kept his life.

"I won't ask you...I'll tell you: arrange the meeting and make it soon. If you don't, I'll find someone else to do it. You see, I'm on a time schedule here and its very important that I meet with the high command of your organization. Now..." She said and aimed the handgun at the man's forehead, pulling the hammer back, "Am I understood?"

While the two were upstaris, a group of people entered, some in SWAT uniforms. The two who entered first bore themselves more regallaly then teh rest. The wastelander techs smiled. "Can we help you sirs?" One of them asked nicely. One of the leaders looked at them. "Indeed. You can die WASTELANDER." The vampire pulled out a handgun, and shot the tech in the head, and started aiming at hte other when they ducked. Reaching into hte coutner, the survivor hit the panic button, and pulled out the G-36 that was locked-up unless the panic button was hit. Jumping back up, he starting shooting at the VCF forces, and was riddled with holes in return. He took out a couple of the Vampires, before he fell. He was on hte edge of death, but was shown no mercy. He was beheaded whilst leaning, bleeding to death, against one of hte counters containing all of the medicanes and prescriptions teh pharmacy handled.

Upstairs, The man looked up as a red light began to blink over teh door. eyes snapping back down, they locked on the womans. "Listen to me, I can't contact the Grand Wastelander without clearance, and that light is not a good sign. Either you lead the Empire here, or they figured me and my team out. Now please, I'll do whatever you want as long as you help me fight off whoever is down there!" Teh man pleaded.

The Lady needed no explaination as to what that alarm meant. She had heard when the door opened, and when the first gun shots went off she silently cursed as she turned to glare at the now flaring red light above the door. She didn't lead these bastards here...the Wastelanders must have been found out, but even so...no one could see her here. She was invisible, a ghost, untracable...and she had been as such because she took every measure to remain a non-existant killer.

The easiest rout would be to just kill this man and flee before the VCF showed up. However, then she would have to find another Wastelander recruitment base...and it was difficult enough as it was to find this one. Damn.

Suddenly the door burst open and three armed men began to infultrate the door. Three shots from The Lady's 9mm rang out, capping all three through the front of their helmets in the head. Normally, a shot like that would have killed any normal human...but when the three only seemed to stummble backwards, shake off the hits, and charge forward again, The Lady cursed aloud. These were Vampires, and lead shots were not going to do it.

When the first man raised his sub-machine gun at her and the man she was interrogating, The Lady quickly grabbed the man by the arm. Using her inhuman strength, she pulled hard and flung the man at the closed second story window. It shattered upon him impacting with it and he fell to the ground below. She knew a fall like that wouldn't kill him, there was a dumpster below that window anyway, so at worst...he'd have some nice cuts and brusies along with needing a long shower.

The man would survive the fall, he would not survive this.

Suddenly gun fire rang out. Tens of scores of bullets burst forth in rapid succession from the machine guns and several of the bullets hit The Lady hard and fast. Blood sprayed and splutered everywhere as she was slammed back against the wall with the force, and then when the firing stopped, she slummped forward and hit the ground hard. She was cold and unmoving as blood flowed from her body.

By now, five armed men had entered the room with the leaders not being among them. Two stayed back to guard the door, one went over to the window to look out...not finding any body or man below, and the last two came over to the female dead body. They lowered their guns and one knelt down beside her while the other stood up and surveyed the room.

When the man reached down to touch her, he was suddenly taken aback when her right hand shot up and a 9mm Silver Reinforced Smith & Wesson was pointed at his head. His eyes widened as a single gun shot went off.

The Lady wasn't dead, she just had to get them to lower their weapons long enough to switch guns. Silver bullets killed vampires...lead, like the ones they used on her expecting to be raiding a human base, were useless.

The other man turned at the shot, but didn't react fast enough to have a silver bullet shot right through his neck. A sickening snapping sound echoed from his gurggling throat from the windpipe being blown apart.

By now the remaining three guards aimed and prepared to open fire again, but by then, The Lady was on her feet. Her front was completely drenched in blood, but she glared at the three with the cold empty eyes of a trained killer who felt no pain...or remorse.

One man had sense enough to take cover behind a desk at the corner of the room, but the man by the window was blown apart when The Lady pounded three rounds into his chest, gut, and side making him fall out of the shattered window dead. The now firing man by the door hit her once in the stomach, but other then a grunt, she didn't flinch. Rushing forward with in human speed, she dodged the second volley of rounds and came up underneath the man. Her right blade shot forth from the gauntlet sheath on her arm as she brought it up and used the silver arm sword to spike through his chin and skull.

Gore and brain matter ejected from the wound as he slumped forward dead, but The Lady wasted no time in kicking his corpes out the door and slamming it shut. She locked it with the remaining bar locks and then grabbed the heavy oak desk with her free hand and slid it over to remain in front of the door to block it.

This revealed the last man, who had reloaded his weapon with silver shots, but he had fummbled with the magazine for a fraction of a second to long. The Lady raised her 9mm and fired one round into the top of his skull. He shouldn't have been leaning down over the gun...at least he would have died with the top of his head intact.

Not wanting to see the reinforcments come, The Lady made a break for the shattered window and leapt out. She fell forward, but righted herself to land on her feet ontop of the dead VCF body in the dumpster. At least the human was smart enough to get out of the dumpster before it fell, he might have gotten a nasty suprise.

The Lady grabbed the side of the trash receptical and swung herself over. She turned to see that the man had grabbed the gun from the drawer above in the fray, he was putting a fresh clip in.

"Don't bother unless they're silver bullets. Those guards are vampires." She said and quickly looked back at the street for signs of more of them. They had to move quickly and get out of here...but first, something was bothering her.

Walking towards the man, she reached one hand up to her neck. Growling a bit in discomfort, she put the two claws of her thumb and index finger into the deep hole in her neck, and then hissed as she wretched a flattened lead bullet round from the skin. She would have to remove the others later before the wounds healed over...but she had time. They wouldn't completely close until after she'd gotten some more blood into her system...thank goodness she hadn't eaten yet, or she would have had even more blood bursting from her body.

"We need to move to a safer location. I hope you have one in mind." She said and reloaded her own gun with a fresh Silver Bullet clip. "You'd better keep to your word, human...I don't save people's lives, period." For emphasis she shoved the magazine in the rest of the way and let the click sound echo. "Lead on, Mac Duff." She said, quoting Shakespeare, though she doubted a man this young knew of the works of William Shakespeare...that kind of literary mastery was left only for Vampire Nobles these days.

The man grunted, hearing the click of the clip sliding into place on her sidearm. He held his P-90 wearily. "Try UV rounds. Should put give them a nasty burn. Names Gildrudger Everlost." He stated, sliding his own clip in. She was a damned Hemophage, and yet the VCF troops didn't hasitate to try and kill her. A old qoute came to mind. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.' Problem was, the enemy of the man's enemy was a member of hte race that formed his enemy. So that made it harder to judge how she stood. He looked down hte alleyway, seeing hte flashing lights of the local police forces arriving at the enterance of the pharmacy. Looking down the other way, it was clear. So he took that route.

Faer Gul Naneth sat in her house, surrounded by abandoned orphins and animals that sat staring at her with rapt attention, her home situated in the middle of the warring factions, was open to theos in need, for a place to stay, for a place where information was given, or for a place where someone needed wisdom of a personal experience.

At the moment she was telling the children a story of the time before the war, where piece reigned and when she was younger. She had been naive, serving a human who wanted power, and upon whence when he had tried to kill a friend of hers, she herself had killed. Since then, she hadn't had a master, and she herself, with her magic of void and spirit, had made a prophecy.

The prophecy in question told of the coming of the 'One', her true master, who she would serve faithfully till her end. The 'One' would be the one to control the outcome of the war, the one who she would die protecting. The children cried as she told them she would eventually die, but she herself had accepted it long ago, seeing as she had lived the longest time out of anyone she knew.

UV rounds? Tch, not a bad idea, unfortunately the UV radiation given off by the rounds was as dangerous to her as it was to her enemies. Silver was much easier to control and gave off less byproduct; and his look of suspicion and concern did not go unnoticed when he looked at her bloody and shot up body. By all accounts and human standards...she should have been dead, and even normal vampires would have called it a night after such an assault...but she was still moving, unphased, and completely calm in disposition. She did not love what she was, but she accepted this form long ago...she was a vampire, an old vampire...a master vampire in strength though she had no vampiric nobility to her name.

Who gave a damn...titles were just that: titles.

As far as the VCF troops trying to shoot her up even though she was a vampire, they first thought she was human upon the first round of bullets. After she got up, it was a matter of survival from there.

The Lady quickly took off after the human, hopefully leading them to a safe house so they could contact this Grand Wastelander. And while he was doing that...she needed to find a private and quiet place to remove the bullets from beneath her skin. They didn't hurt, but they were irritating.

She hated the feeling of lead rubbing up against vital organs and shifting around with each movement and breath she took. Yes...definately annoying.

Working his way though the allyways, avoiding any number of police/VCF units roaming hte city, he eventually arrived at what could only be explained as a worn-down warehouse. He stopped at teh enterance of hte warehouse, and held his gaze at a point above the door. When a panel opened, showing a small pad, he put his hand on it, and waited while his prints were scanned. Once the door began to open, did he remove his hand, though his grip on hte P-90 never wavered. He walked forward, whispering to one of hte first to met the odd pair at the door, a woman, no older then 30. He jerked his head towards Kel, and muttered a few more words to the woman. Then he walked off, as the doors closed behind the two, and the woman, and a man walked up, hte man carrying medical supplies. Though they had nothing with which to help a vampire heal better then they did naturally, they would try their best, as revolting as the idea was. But they were medics, it was their job to help wounded.

The Lady entered the building without a fuss after Gildrudger, but the moment the two medics came towards her with First Aid kits in hand; her two hands shot up with both Smith & Wessons pointed expertly at their heads.

"You don't want to touch me, it's as clear as crystal, so don't." She said firmly, never wavering or taking the guns from the two. "I can take care of removing the bullets myself, but unless you want me to perform the surgery right in front of you, I suggest you point me to a vacant and preferably steril room." She then smirked, "You'd have my thanks."

Still not lowering the weapons she turned her eyes in Gildrudger's direction, "And while I'm doing that, I trust you to keep your word and contact the Grand Wastelander for me. He should already know I'm in town, though this'll be the first he'll have heard about a desired confrence."
