Draeken is a vampire with a somewhat complex life. He was born into a six thousand year old clan of Vampires that was run by his family. He was brought up as a fighter. Taught nothing but how to survive, how to fight, and how to run a clan. It was like that for a hundred years. On his hundreth birthday though, his father told him that he was to take over the clan and that he was to raise an army large enough to destroy the other five parts of the family. The Elven part first. Something in Draeken didnt allow him to stay and do that though. He left his home and wandered for fifty years. During those fifty years he came across a katana that was cursed. In a sense the blade was alive and fed off of blood. If it wasnt fed regularly it would take control of Draeken's body and force him to kill humans, vampires, or whatever just to sate its thirst. It was like that for many years. Draeken wandering aimlessly hoping that he wouldnt come across towns. But somehow he always did. Eventually he decided that he would try to destroy the sword. He attempted it and lost an eye because of it. The sword jumped into life and attacked him until it took his eye. After that Draeken decided to instead master the blade and make it feed when he wanted it to instead of the other way around. he succeeded in most part. after those fifty years of wandering he found himself at the Black Company. He became a member there and came to enjoy life again. he fell in love with two girl there and it was while he was on vacation with one of them that his ancestor Draeken became active inside his mind and body. From that night he has been changed completely. Pushed to his limits of strength by his ancestors training. teaching him what he could learn with his much weaker abilities. But Draeken managed. He learned everything that his ancestor would teach him. His personality altered slightly during all this and he began to, in several ways, resemble his ancestor. He began prefering to sit in corners or on rafters. He thought over things a lot more. He also took on other habits that arent as noticable. Over time he began to grow distant to the guild again. Until of course he met his wife Phia. From there he has been in constant good moods except for when evil bastards show up. He is now a father, with a daughter named Aria.

Draeken stands seven feet tall. His hair is a dark blue and is kept for the most part back. His eye color is ice blue and they always seem to be aware of most everything aroud him. Despite his being a vampire his skin has taken on a tan look to it. He suspects that its from having old D in his head.

Draekens weaponry is most always either daggers or his ancestors six foot long, five inch wide sword that is gemmed with a jewel that can turn any for of energy into a blast of fire, the temperature depending on how much energy is put in. He is able though to use most any weapon you put in his hands.

His personality is usually a good guy with a good sense of humor. at times though he can get a bit detached from everything, almost as if he is ignoring everything. most the time though he is just stubborn and funny. he is always observant and willing to meet new members of the guild.

His goal is to eventually have a family and build a clan around it to replace the one his father has corrupted. He plans to destroy the original clan and remake it, better and stronger than before. This clan he will ally of course to the Black Company, giving them access to the resources of his quite expansive family.

Appearance: Dark hair that lays a bit below her shoulders, pointed ears, ice blue eyes. Lightly tanned skin, claws, and fangs, both of which are barely noticable.
Abilities: Moves at great speeds, has much more strength than the average human. Healing abilities, and light attacks. Barriar magic.
Weapons: Most of her weaponry is powered by light magic. A sword and dagger, sometimes a bow and arrow. Claws and fangs can be used.
Weaknesses: On the full moon her elven night comes into play. She loses all demonic abilities, her strength and quickness, but light abilities become more powerful. Her loved ones memories can also consume her and leave her vulnerable.




History:

Kuro was the product of a courtship between a Wolf-demon general and an Elven maiden, which was forbidden. Somehow the couple managed to stay together and when Kuro was born her mother and herself went into hiding. At seven Kuro had first learned just how different she was. When wolf demons had found her and her mother. They called her things such as half-breed, unclean, before they set fire to their hiding place. Kuro had blacked out not remembering anything.
When she woke her father was there telling her it was time to leave, that her mother was gone that she had somehow survived. He took her to Sui, an old trainer of fighting arts, who would take her, protect her and train her and for eleven years he did just that.
On her eighteenth birthday Kuro was taken back by her father, told that he had found her a suitable mate. Kuro was heartbroken, betrothed to a man she did not know. His name was Obake, he was a prince she was told and her father had a long time deal with Obake's father that they would marry off their children. When she had first met him, he had stared at her coldly, seemingly very frustrated with having to mate her.
The ceremony was a long process, gaining respect from ancestors, from family members, she had cried the entire day before. After the ceremony while greeting family members she met Slayer and Renku. Slayer was Obake's half-brother and Renku was his cousin, both of which gave her an uneasy feeling.
After everything was over she was ushered into what was supposedly his and her room, to "prepare", she decided then and there was enough was enough and escaped through the window and into the night.
She didn't realize that Obake had followed her until a week after, when he had chosen to protect her from a rouge demon. He at first tried to force her to come back, but she would not budge. So unwilling to relinquish his pride he followed her. She soon got used to his presence, became lonely without it. She fell in love with him after a year of traveling, they mated, and then returned to the clan, but upon arrival they found that Slayer had taken over. Obake fought off many, but was not strong enough to fight off Slayer, who stabbed him viciously in the back. Kuro witnessed his killing, but was taken by Sui, who dragged her into Exile.
It was a year after Obake's death that Kuro had emerged in the Black Company forest. Slayer was hot on her trail, but she was confident that she was strong enough to take him down. It was a few months later that she found Irvine Gray, laying near death, in a cave behind a waterfall. She took his hand, thinking that no one should be alone in death. Amazingly he recovered and she soon found herself falling for him. After so long she was happy. She soon took justice for Obake by killing Slayer and returned to Irvine. It was only a few days later that Obake had seemingly come back to life, it left Kuro with a hard choice, but soon found herself still bound to Obake. With a regretful heart she went back to Obake.
It was later that she found Obake to only be a mere illusion, she ran back to find Irvine, but found Verge instead. Heartbroken, she left the BC, to seek out Sui for guidance.
Months later Kuro found herself back at the BC Forest, stronger and wiser. After a visit from Renku she found out it had all been a plot played out by him. Slayer was only a pawn to get Obake out of the way and when she killed Slayer, Renku became clan leader. Everything had been an illusion, Renku used slayer to kill Obake, she then killed slayer to avenge Obake's death, Renku formed an illusion of Obake just to get her away from Irvine, to get her alone, to get her defenseless.
She now had to plan, to somehow defend herself on her elven night before Renku would come and claim her, and with only a few days left she had no answer to her problem.
