Tetsuko looked at Cole quickly, startled. it didn't surprise her he knew she was crying, she wasn't doing a great job hiding it, and, she knew of his empathetic powers.
"You... could say that," She said, giving him a smile, even though she knew he saw right through it. Seeing the look in his deep purple eyes, knowing what he was about to say, her smile faded, and she cast her golden eyes to the floor. "I miss my brother," she said. "I haven't seen him in... centuries," she said. "Ever since I left the realm..." she cast her tear filled eyes to the sky above, then closing her eyes, lowered her gaze. "We used to be... so close," she said, so quietly she didn't even know if he had heard. "But know, since I walk earth....." her voice trailed off, her words abandoning her. She started crying again. "I don't even know if he thinks of me. He seemed so angry last time i saw him.... I just... I just...." She buried her face into his chest, grabbing his sleeves, and began to cry. "I'm sorry, Cole," she said through her tears. "I'm sorry i tried to sneak past you and I'm sorry I'm acting like a foolish child." She tried to stop her tears, but to no avail.

Cole held the srying Tetsuko much like a father holds a crying child. Comforting her in her time of need, Cole whispered gently into Tetsuko's ear...
"There is no need to apologize Tetsuko... you didn't know. I'm sure your brother thinks about you and misses you greatly. You can not let the decisions you made bring you down so. You must stand tall and face them."

Tetsuko let herself cry, feeling the warmth from Cole. She smiled, his comforting words helped ease her pain.
"Thank you, Cole," she said when she regained the ability to talk without stumbling over her words. "I... needed to hear that." She looked up at him and smiled, peace in her heart as she thought of how kind he was. She sniffled once more, her strength and confidence returning.
"Okay," she said, sitting up. She clenched her fist and raised it, as if in victory. "I'm going to do it." she looked at Cole and a smile fell over her face. "I'm going to visit my brother!" She stood up, dusting off her butt.
"I'll be gone a while," she said. "Don't worry, I'll be careful." Spreading her huge angel wings with practiced ease, Tetsuko leapt into the air and flew of to see her brother.

Cole smiled as he watched Tetsuko fly off. He knew that she would meet her brother and that he would be happy to see her once again. There was something about siblings that draws them to one another. Cole knew this from experience; his thoughts drifted momentarily to his own siblings, Katha and Emberis. After taking one final look at his mother's statue,Cole vanished from the garden.

The great golden dog walked up to Takara and nuzzeled her. She said nothing, she just let her preasence be known.

*Mariana walks into the garden, slowly taking in all the wonders. Her eye is caught by the draconian figure in one corner and she walks up to it. Seeing its wings, she arces her shoulders, feeling a sudden pang by her shoulder blades.*dear god, what now? it's just a statue of a dragon. but it's so beautiful...*she reaches out to touch it, and a searing pain jolts up her arm and into her back. hearing the back of her shirt rip, she twists around to see twin wings, garnet in color with black veins and bones running through, protruding out of her jacket.*my god! what the hell?!?*she stares at the glistening wings, then falls into darkness.

*slips back into consciousness hours later and, seeing wings, lets out a cry and springs up, beating her wings angrily. She flies off, sobbing.*((going to another thread smile ))

*Hiru advances down the garden path passing by the dragon staue where he stops and stares as if he knows the dragon from somewhere he sets his bag down kneels and prays to the staute and then stands and picks up his bag and walks off silently but stops and stares at the flowers*

I feel like I've seen you before, and why?Why did you do this to me? Not that they're not beautiful*glances at wings ruefully*huh? can you tell me why? no one I know can...my family's dead...I didn't even know them...*silently tears trickle down her face and fall to the ground and on the wine-colored roses beneath her*
