The vampire's smile slipped around the edges slightly for a moment before going into a full-out grin, "Ah, yes; that would be somehwat important to know wouldn't it? Feel free to call me whatever you like, but I only really answer to 'Keever', as that is my name." He bowed the way a gentleman bowed to a lady many years ago... well, at least, it was the way he had been taught to do so, since those years were somewhat before his time. "And how do you like to be adressed? I think that would be important to know as well."

Minding his own business Viktor was taking a stroll along the river walk seeing what was going on since nothing else caught his attention. He found several resturants and bars but nothing too exciting.
Is there anything besides these resturants? Anything exciting like a late night band playing or maybe some mariachis playing so I can listen and complement them....
Thinking to himself Maybe there may be others... ha I doubt it... is it possible as he thinks of this he spots a commotion going on infront of him about 20ft away. He stops and tries to see whats going on...

Monique wasn't a very stupid girl, she saw the way the Master had taken his full attention off of them and nuged her friend quietly. As much as she didn't like running away from a fight, she also didn't like the thought of getting killed or becoming a servant to some blood sucking arrogant b*****d. So instead, running and finding their way back home seemed like a good idea. If anything, they could always just fit in with the animals at the zoo a few blocks away.
Giving Lauren a 'Lets get the hell out of here now' looks she smiled and waited til a bus had stopped right behind them. And as soon as the breaks squeeked to a stop, she took off with some amazing speed away from the two vampires, hoping her friend was smart enough to follow.

Damn... things were just getting interesting... was the only real regret Lauren had as she turned with her friend and took off- running like a bat out of Hell. Or perhaps a wolf out of... some place kinda like Hell that fits with the analogy and has to do with running really, really fast. As she was running a random thought happened to occure to her, "...I don't remember how to get home... You do, right? Buddy... pal..." She could feel herself grin somewhat nerviously, and she could have sworn she could feel her beast laughing at her... or maybe it was just glad to be able to actually run for once. After all, Lauren was not really known to be a runner; possibly a brisk walker, but not so much with the running.

((Heh heh... random posting. Yay team. mad D ))
It wasn't much of a shock that the running had helped Lauren's beast to wake the hell up; after all, getting trashed usually put it to sleep for a little over four hours. Not that putting it to sleep was the only reason she drank or anything...
The wolf was not as cool with just running away as she was. Something about pride over self-preservation. Of course, she was not about to turn back, run towards the vampires, and pick a fight- even she wasn't that insane... this meant there was only one way to really appease the beast. She pulled something out of her pants pocket- it happened to be the now empty glass bottle that had held some drink or other- and threw it back towards the Master of the City. Attack the vampire for being a jerk: check. Run for dear life from said vampire: check. Both personalities were content.
In the back of her mind, Lauren wondered exectly when it was that she pocketed the bottle and why. But that wasn't really important.

Spike was just about to appear infront of the two wolves when the most random of all bottles came and knocked the vampire square on the forehead with some amazing force. He was knocked to the ground which in turn caused him to his the back of his head on the very solid concrete. A few moments later his eyes opened in a total blank. Groaning the Master of the City sat up and rubbed the back of his head and checking for any sign of blood. [There wasn't, thankfully.]
Monique had watched her friend throw the bottle at the vampire and swore if they were caught that she would most deffinetly do the honors of strangling her best friend and roommate. Who cared about rent anyways? They were a month or so behind so it really didn't matter to the taller girl anyways. "Yes I know the way home..." She grumbled as she led the way, silently enjoying the lovely run they were on.

Keever could only stare down at the fallen vampire and blink for a moment. To anyone else, it must have looked very odd; a man in a suit being knocked to the ground by a flying bottle and a raver staring down at him. Just the thought of someone dressed formally versus the red pants, collar, mesh shirt, and multi-colofred bracelets was odd. Add in the flying bottle and things got rediculous. He held his hand out to the vampire, "Would you like a hand up, Master of San Antonio?" He still hadn't gotten the other's name, so there wasn't much else to call him.
"Awesome!" Lauren grinned as she fallowed her roomie. Her hangover was leaving as quickly as her early buzz left, her beast was satisfied for now... and the other wolf knew how to get home. Compared to the part where there was a vampire who wanted to kill her, the night was looking up. "Did you have a nice night?" Something about silence didn't work very well with the girl, so she attempted at small talk... mostly because 'isn't it nice we aren't dead' didn't seem like a good thing to say. Then again... "Isn't it nice we aren't dead?"

Spike looked up at the man and got up to his feet. "And you are?" He asked as he dusted off his pants fixing up his suit.
"I swear... one of these days you're really going to get us killed." She said chuckling as she led the way back to their home. Laughing she pulled the keys from her pocket and found the one key through the mass of keychains.

Keever lowered his outstretched hand; he wasn't sure what it was, but something seemed off about the other vampire, "Sire... I told you my name the first time you asked. Forgive my boldness, but are you feeling well? Perhaps the bottle that hit you in the head was too much?" How weak was a master who got amnesia- of all things!- from simply getting hit in the head by a glass bottle? The fact that it was thrown by a lycanthrope didn't really matter... after all, shouldn't a Master of the City be able to take more than that? He shook his head, "Ah... but you did ask, and it is my duty to submit to the will of my lord... my name is 'Keever'." Maybe San Antonio wasn't the place to go for protection after all.
The wolf grinned, scratching the back of her head nerviously, "Well... you know... what's a bit of death between friends? Other than, you know, death..." It seemed like a good time to change the subject, "Did you have a good night?" Funny, she wasn't even sure they were going in the right direction until they had gotten to the door.

"Hmm.. he must have been out then..." The old vampire chuckled sourly at himself as he turned to the other Vampire. "My apologies... I do not normally act like this..." Spike said rubbing the back of his head. "Its a pleasure to meet you... My Name is Spike. And you are correct in that I am the Master of the City."
"Eh. It was alright. And you? What made you get drunk off your a** this time?" Monique chuckled as she opened the door and set her keys in the bowl. "You forgot yours again..." She noticed her roommates key's at the door. "You're lucky I was nearby..."

He? Who was 'he'? Keever wasn't sure if he should ask or not... so he decided to skip the preliminary disgussion and go strait to the point he had come to make, "If you are the Master of the City, then it seems I have found who I am looking for. You see, at the moment I am masterless vampire wandering about... and there are many Masters out there who enjoy preying on beings such as myself. If you would allow me to stay here and under your protection as one of your vampires I would be most greatful and will serve you faithfully." It wasn't quite as formal with the bowing and the showing of submission through every little bodily movement he could have made... but this place didn't seem very formal at that moment. It seemed more... he couldn't think of an exact term, but the words 'high spirited' did come to mind.
"You know..." pause for mildly dramatic effect; ok, "I think it was the alchole that got me drunk off my a**." The young woman grinned, trynig to run a hand through her somewhat knotted, curly/wavey hair, "But, mainly... I was alone and bored, and then I thought about killing some people and getting drunk put the beast to sleep because I didn't think you'd like it if I left another hand or head at your door..." She laughed, thinking about last time that happened. It was a 'thank you for letting me in because I forgot my keys... again...' gift.

"You wish for me to protect you and in return you will be my servant.... How can I trust someone like you..." Spike asked as he looked the vampire before him. He blinked at his attire and shook his head slightly in slight disappointment.
"No thanks..." Monique chuckled softly as she had remembered the many times that it had happened before. And allthe troubles it was to get rid of the human limb. Eating it wouldn't do simply because heating up the human flesh after it's already been cooled down did not taste very pleasant.

The vampired dropped to one knee, head bowed as he spoke softly, "I do not see how any of my actions could possibly be suspect, Sire... but surely you must be able to feel that my power- while at the level of a master vampire- is no where near that of a Master of the City." He rolled his eyes- which seemed to glow silver in the moonlight- up to the taller man as much as he could while keeping his head bowed. "Being a servant has not bothered me for some time; and, as it is a master's duty to protect what is his, it is well worth it." As much as he may look like an ecstacey-dropping punk, Keever had been 'groomed' by a very strict woman in his younger years and would likely never forget her lessons.
The spazz laughed, scratching the back of her head, "And that's why I got drunk. To avoid the severed limbs thing... but I really do appreciate the whole thing back there." A sudden thought occured, causing Lauren to blink at the other wolf, "Why were you so close, anyways? What were you doing tonight? Going out for a crazy night on the town?" The thought of her mildly claustrophobic- or, at least, people hating- room mate at some dance club surrounded by people who were all less than three inches away was almost... funny. Well, it wasn't funny until she thought about what would happen if they all started to get attacked by killer tomatoes; but that was completly different from the origonal thought. It was still funny... "Tomatos suck at life," she said, grinning.

There was a smell in their apartment that shouldn't be there. it was a smell of a human, and one that hung around a lycanthrope all the time. It might remind one distantly of a zoo. As the two stepped into their apartment, it was like they'd caught a child doing something and there was a collective flinch. A large number of their possessions was currrently out of place, anything 10-15 pounds that could be sold more than a dollar. Some of it was missing. the rest of it was lying around as if it was being carried off, but quickly put down when they entered. then, at the edge of their vision if they had noticed it yet, something scampering into their bathroom. He stood on their back porch, his shadow easily visible, next to his larger brother. He snapped out of his trance from controlling so many at once and turned towards him. "Simone, they are home" "yeah, i heard them enter" "and they are lycanthropes" "didn't i tell you i heard them enter?" Simone sighed and put down some of the not so easily replaceable items on their back porch, kneeling down so his brother might hop onto his back. He hoped Simon had stopped in time for them to get away. The two females being lycanthropes might complicate the problem, as humans could not catch up to Simone with simple footwork alone. it would be 10-15 seconds until they were leaving if nothing stopped them.

Monique didn't pay any attention to her friend's comment as she scowled about. Her nose was crinkled upwards in disgust in the smell about her apartment. Her fangs began to grow and a loud growl was starting to be heard from her throat. Her shrap eyes snapped in attention to where the human and lycanthrope was. Within a split second she was there right on them, her claws extended.
"And what is it that you think you're doing?" She growled menicingly. There were a few things that the wolf hated. Liers, humans, idiots and theives. And for the most part the two standing on the back seemed to be all of them.
