Hmm... there might be, but I haven't heard of it. I don't actually live in Pasadena.
There's someone else in that orchestra on Gaia? x__x
Thanks for the welcome, anyway! whee

Hello,
My name is Dor and I live in Israel.
I play the guitar and I'm supposed to be and Organist but I lack an organ... or talent for playing.
I enjoy Baroque, Romantic Piriod, Progressive Rock, Jazz, Blues, Psychedelic Rock and certian Aventgard music...
My favorite composers are JS Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Wagner, Stravinsky, Thomas Tallis and Mahler.
I started cmoposing a year ago tring to write modern Rock music but ended up studying classical composition. now I'm practicing four part writing and Choral harmonizations...
My other hobbies include Skiing, Scuba Diving, writing and reading poetry and studying languages.
hehe, sounds a bit like a dating service tape... smile

Hi folks! I'm the newest member of this guild. My name's Courtney and I live in Fargo, ND. I moved here from Atlanta about 7 months ago. I majored in music education in college and have played the flute since 1989. I love music of all sorts except rap, which is just awful in my opinion. Sorry to all you rap fans out there. I also sing alto and was a member of the West Georgia Chamber Singers for a couple of years in college. It was a lot of fun.

Hello.
Currently I live in Cali.. near pasadena.. and yes, I've heard of the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra, but I'm not in it. I mainly focus on playing one instrument, piano. I take lessons every week from some branch of Yamaha. I'm not specifically studying music at some college or attend some other types of whatever. I'm just fourteen and next year I'll be taking the yearly merit test at the last level.
I don't exactly have a favorite composer. How can I choose? They're all fantastic in their own ways. Anyway, this is an interesting guild. Peace.

Hi. I don't have time to write a proper introduction. I'll do that later. Anywho, I'm Fai. I play the trumpet, French Horn, some baritone, and bass guitar. domokun
Intro Edit: My name's not really Fai. ninja It's Heather. I live in Montana, and I go to one of the very few high schools in this boring state that has a marching band. My band used to wear cowboy hats, but now we're getting new uniforms. Whoo! rofl Ok, that seems like all you need to know about me. Oh, yeah. I'm only 15. domokun

Greetings, fellow musicians. I was invited here by a new friend, and I'm glad to be here. ^_^ I don't normally give away my real name and information online, but it seems like the appropriate thing to do here.
My name is Michelle, and I'm 23 years old. I am a music teacher residing in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I graduated from Eastern University with a B.A. in music education, and I am currently in the process of finding the right college for me to get my master's degree. I was a vocal major, and yes, my two favorite comoposers were Beethoven and Mozart, both of whom I have a plethera of knowledge on (as well as many other comopsers). I play piano, violin, organ, and a whole lot of other instruments (PA requirements for music ed. require you to learn at least one instrument from all instrument families). I am also an avid composer and performer; this being my second year performing with "Peter Nero and the Philly Pops."
Well, that's all the time I have for this morning. ^_^ I'm looking foward to chatting with you all.

My name is Katie. I live in Kentucky. I'm a freshman at my high school. I just started my second season of marching band. I play the clarinet, violin, french horn, and baritone ukelele. When I'm a junior, I would like to be a drum major and in college I want to join a drum corp. I am planning on studying to be a band director. Maybe I'll add something else when I think of something.

Hi everyone and thank you for accepting me to this guild biggrin .
My name.. is not important, but I'm 17 years old girl from cold and far-off land called Finland (neverheard? And btw, icebears are NOT walking on our streets and yes, we do have roads... just unbelievable what kind of impressions people have *sigh*. Anyway what I meant to say is that Finland is a very pretty palce.)
I play piano, guitar and flute, but mainly piano. I went to piano lessons for six years until I had to quit, but since then I have practised on my own (right now I'm learning Chopin's Minute Walz, I just love it! heart ). And I love to sing, especially in small groups, like in duettos or trios. So I'm lucky to have friends that are as good singers as I am.
My favourite composers.. I used to enjoy Vivaldi's violin concertos when I was child (I still do). And Mozart rules!
Oh, And I don't listen to classical only, I like heavy metal too. twisted

Hahaha...a bit...paranoid?
Seems like you're very talented, that's good. We aren't all exactly gifted musicians...(well, I'm not, everyone else seems to be)
I've heard alot about Finland and my mom has a friend from there, apparently it's a beautiful place. And I don't hold the stereotypes that others do. (Believe me...I know the feeling, I'm from Texas and it's AMAZING what s**t people will come up with about this state)
Out of curiosity (standard test for people, being a metalhead myself) name a few metal bands that you like?
