Kelala raises an eyebrow at him trying to figure out if she should trust him completly. But she didn't know what they were against and he did. "So what do you suggest we do?"

"You can't outrun It." Ovaan told her, in a voice that suggested she obviously should have thought of that before. His behavior was changing, becoming stranger, and he kept repeating things he'd already said, as though he'd forgotten that he'd ever said them in the first place.

"I'll take you to Safety," he informed her finally, leaving no room for arguing.

Kelala's shifted her weight so she slightly leaned back away from him. Her eyes were darted from his face to around the forest. Normaly she would have stayed untrusting and just went off her own per usual. She growled soflty in frustrationg. "Fine where is safety."

"Come. I show." He told her with a childish happiness, spinning around on his heels and dashing off in the direction from which he'd come, travelling at a light run, his fuzzy moth-like antenna flying out behind him and his wings held firmly against his back, his lantern making him a fairly easy beacon to follow, despite his zig-zagging in and out of the trees.

Kelala was stunned for a second until she bolted after him. Attempting to keep up the ever moving light which wasn't that hard. Soon she finaly got to him where she was almost running along side him best as she could with them weaving in and out of trees. This man was confusing her considering how he seemed sore morbid and serious and now, he seemed playful almost. What by the blood mood did I get myself into?

Ovaan suddenly screeched to halt, so abruptly that the girl ran past him. He seemed to find this extremely amusing, for a big grin crossed his face, and he swung the lamp tauntingly as she stopped herself and returned to where he stood. He giggled his light, musical, almost childish laugh at her, before growing solemn.

"We're there." He whispered, eyes wide and bright.

Kelala looked at him with a raised eyebrow. She was begganing to wonder if he was just out of his mind and completly making all of this up. But her surival insticts told her that she should listne to him considering it was obvious that soemthing was out there. Her gold eyes flashed as she looked around the area. "We will be safe here?" She asked hesitantly.

Ovaan gave an exasperated sigh, sill acting less mature than he had coem across at first. "Not here," he told her. "Up there." He pointed upward. They were standing at the base of a gargantuan tree. Before Kelala could react. he'd reached for her, wrapping an arm securely around her waist, pulling her tightly against him, and started up the tree. He half-crawled, half-flew up the tree's rough bark, the girl held securely against his chest. The bark was rough and sharp, enough to cut the skin of the two scaling it';s side, but Ovaan seemed to know exactly where to put his free hand, his wings boosting him up.

It seemed to be only moments of chaotic climbing, despite the fact that they were now higher than most of the other trees, when he pressed her against the bark. The section of tree fell inward, an upright trap door, sending them both toppling into a dark, cavernous hollow in the great tree.

Kelala gasped and threw her arms around his neck cligning onto him tightly as he took her up the tree. Oh my goddess oh my goddess Was chanted in her mind as she had a small problem with heights.

Just when she thought it was over she let out a shakey breath only to relize that she was falling back into a dark hole. She let out a breathy scream when the toppled into the tree.

Ovaan rolled the moment he hit the ground, whipping himself limberly into an upright position. With a quick wave of his lantern, the room the were in lit up. It was indeed a room, with torches holding strange glowing stones along the walls, homemade furntiure of mis-matched styles and wood types, seemingly made and decided upon spur-of-the-moment. There was a bed, a table, a few mismatched chairs, a lot of small chunks of wood strewn everywhere, as well as home-made whittling and carving knives.

Ovaan pushed the 'door'- perfectly camouflaged against the tree, back into its secure position. He turned to his new guest and said in a happy, sing-song voice. "There. We'll be safe in here."

Kelala quickly got up but stayed slightly chrouched as if she was about to bolt. Looking around she took in the room. This is...his...home She concluded as she noticed the set up. Hesitantly she stood up straighter and looked over at him with a raised eyebrow. "Um...thankyou....um....I never got your name." She smiled sheepishly as she tried to distract herself from the current situation with a conversation.

Ovaan had been facing away from her, adjusting one of the glowing stones, but turned back to face her when she spoke. He looked her up and down, seeming to choke back a rude reply, before gruffly saying, simply, "Ovaan." He looked quickly away from her, happy-go-lucky facade dropped, and after a few moments asked, as though as an after thought, or perhaps because he could think of nothing else, "You?"

"Kelala." She softly said as she slowly took in the place with her gold eyes. Fidgiting fingers played with the material of her dark green dress as she was at a lost of what to do.

"Well...it isn't safe for you to leave at least until morning. So get comfortable," he turned away from her, gesturing lossely at a pile of blankets in the a 'corner' of the round room. The blankets, as with the rest of the room, were different shapes, materials, and design, very mis-matched. Some of them felt as fine as silk, while other ones were coarsely woven by hand.

"You can stay the night...but you can't have my bed."

Kelala eyes widen slightly and she felt a blush taint her cheeks. Stay here....with a man I hardly know....oh goddess This was something she did not consider tell now, and was embarrassed about the situation. "The floor is fine." She said quietly but just stood still feeling ackward.
