Meeting other people part 2
Kenna shrugged. " It doesn't last long, he sees new people and he get's all wound up again." Bending down he scooped Max into his arms. " No problem."
Kisten smiled. "He sounds like fun. Kind of spazy really." He tilted his head up. "Do you think it's going to snow again?"
" i hope not, but then it'll make going on vaction seem like more fun." Kenna said making a face.
"Ooh you going on vaction? Where at?" He asked looking at Kenna curiose. Maybe he should badger Shadow into a vaction.
" Dont no for sure yet." Kenna said with a shrug before setting Max on the ground, he was to heavy to carry everywhere now. " We have to find someone to look after make for us first."
"I guess somewhere warm would be pleasant. I don't mind the cold but snow makes it hard to walk though," Kisten replied looking around the neighborhood. "I think this is the farthest I ever gone from the house."
Orion was making his way to the store, having used the last of the milk, and smiled when he saw Kenna not far off. Then he saw Max. Then he saw something bright blue, and sped up. Then he realized it was someone he was sure he'd met before.
" Max and I can walk you home after if you like, It can be scary if you dont no the area. " Kenna said stopping infront of the coffee shop. " Orion and I live just up the street so I know the area pretty well."
"I, yeah..I would prefer that," he said rubbing his arms. He paused looking up, blinking. "Isn't that Orion?" He questioned, head tilted trying to remeber for sure what Orion looked like.
Looking up Kenna grinned happily. " Hello my sexy man, what brings you out in the cold?" Kenna asked before shushing Max.
"No milk left," he said, chuckling and pulling Kenna close, then looking to Kisten, "I've met you before..."
Kisten nodded. "I was a squint about this.."he held a hand low, "high I think..I'm Kisten and your Orion." He added pleased he had remebered correctly.
Kenna chuckled and snuggled into Orions warmth, placing a kiss on the side of his neck. " I was just about to go get Kisten and I some hot chocolate, would you like one babe?" Kenna asked pulling away reluctently.
"Kisten," Orion said, chuckling and nodding, then looked to Kenna, "Sounds good."
Kisten shifted slightly, uncomfortable as the display of affection. Not as if it was a bad thing..just that he felt like a third wheel. He stayed silent just waiting for the hot cocoa.

Meeting people (Ends) Kenna handed Kisten Max's leash before heading inside to order their drinks. He was still smiling. When he returned with three steaming cups and one filled with water.
Kisten took the leash willing, kneeling to scratch Max's ears for something to do. The dog was cute
Coming out of the shop he handed Kisten his cocoa and then passed one to Orion, before bending down to give Max his cup of water, which the puppy eagerly drank.
Kisten took the hot cocoa smiling in thanks and slowly slip the hot drink. It was kind of nice being around others of his own people. He shook out his hair. "Thank you Kenna."
" Your welcome Kisten." Kenna said still watching Max, lap at his water. He was trying not to stnad up and lean into Orion, he didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable with the fact he loved touching Orion.
Kisten licked the chocolate smear from around his lip and looked at Kenna. "Kenna umm what do you do?" He asked some what lame looking in his cup. "You said you live here? Do you have a job?"
" I used to work at the grocery store over there but right now im not working. Though some times i get paid to dance." He didn't want to make exotic dancing his job, it was just something he did when he needed extra money.
Orion had just listening silently, one arm around Kenna as he sipped his drink with a light smile. It was nice to see Kenna making friends. It was...oddly touchy for him, but eh. As long as Kenna was happy
Kisten tilted his head thinking. He knew about grocery store. That where his mother basically worked but dancing? "You can get paid to dance?"
Kenna nodded. ' Yup." Standing up he leaned lightly into Orion. " I'm good at it."
Kisten mmm. "You look like you would be good at it." Kenna had the body one would imaging dancing.
" I dont dance like i used to, not since i hurt my knee, though i had a good nurse." Kenna said with a chuckle as he squeesed Orion's hand.
"How did you manage to do that?" Kisten asked looking down at Kenna knee. It looked alright to him.
" I fell, its okay now." Kenna said smiling.

I guess it has been a while since I last written. So, I shall start at the beginning. Easter has gone and come; I spent the holiday with Damian and Joscelin collecting plastic eggs in the yard to be rewarded with a promise of a shopping spree. For a number of eggs of a certain color I got to pick items from the board to pick up when we last went to the mall.
Needless to say I enjoy our trip and the clothing of course. I received a new spring coat of buttery soft leather trimmed with black fur. It’s a half coat with full sleeves and the fur is rabbit and deliciously soft and silken to touch. I also picked up two pairs of bellowing loose pants that pool at the bottom like a skirt and a pair of ragged jeans to work in the garden. Spring means working in the dirt and such I also got a pair of sturdy button up black boots. It finished with a second piercing of my lobes and a pair of copper metal key earrings to dangling from my new piercing when the studs can be removed with out the flesh closing. I attempted to persuade her to allow my belly button to be pierced but she refused.
Accompany to the mall was Akash little boy who wasn’t so little anymore. A’shi has grown faster then I have and become a rather eccentric young man. Very eccentric dressed in purple with dream catchers dangling from it and an ipod in his ears, dancing on the mall’s tile floor with his hooves going clackly clack. He laughs easy and then after we returned from our trip, my first trip unaccompanied by Shadow he kissed me. Kissed me! Then left. Just pilled up in his car and laughing away and left me behind wondering what just happened. It tingled…
Shadow said not to associate anything meaningful with it. He was just being playful and at that age when he’s not thinking straight. I know he didn’t mean anything by it. It’s just A’shi being well A’shi but still. It felt funny and I kept touching my sour green apple lipstick cover lips as if I could feel the touch of his.

Well I finally found something to occupied Kisten. Dance lessions with Kenna which keeps the kid out of my hair for a few hours a few days a week and wears him down a bit. Energy is so wasted on the young. Not that I'm tired of careing for him. I just need him to wear down a bit before he breaks my dishes.
Or something else.
Kisten been hyper since he has grown from the small little thing he was. I think he's starting to grow into his personality..or something. He no longer is the little boy he once was. Instead he is become someone. Taking steps to become the person he will be..though right now it seems he is mimicing Sandy.
The silly kitty of course is happy to hear this. Kisten wearing a dress seems to suit him just fine. I don't mind but still..that doesn't seem actually well normal. I don't remember my brothers trying on my clothing..well not at that age. They where younger then Kisten is now.
It suits him though. I think some long talks are coming up..

Kisten scurried up the steps a napsack carrying various clothing hanging from his shoulder. He wasn't sure what to wear to a dance lesson. So he had a pair of loose p.js he wore as sweats and a long tunic that fell to his knee incase he wasn't suppose to wear pants. He was wearing his puff sleeve dress with sleeves that feel over his finger tips.
"Keeena! Keena! I'm ready for my lesson?" He knocked on the door, rocking back and forth on his feet. Was he early? Late?
Kenna pulled open the door toothbrush hanging from his mouth as he pulled the excited boy intot he house. He was wearing black pants that seemed to fit in all the right places and a red dress shirt. Holding up a figer to show that he needed another second, he disappeared into the bathroom.
He stammered sorry trying to recall if he was early or late or if Kenna had forgotten. He ran his hair though his fluffed up pinkish hair, leaning back on his heels as he waited for Kenna to finish in the bathroom.
"Am I early?"
" Nope your right on time, im the one whose a little behind." He said smiling then looking at his shirt it was bottened wrong, but that wouldn't take long to fix. Quickly working the bottens open.
He fixed his shirt leaving the top two open. " I got distracted." By An Orion and a Maxwell. " Come it's just a short walk to the room i rented."
"Ooh." He felt better still wondering if he should have called. Wait, he was on time though. He smoothed down his dress, picking at the puffed up sleeves.
"You rented a room?" Would it be polite to offer to pay for some of the rent? But he didn't have a job. He chewed on his lower lip.
" Yea, it's down the street i used to rent it before i hurt my knee when people thought i wasn't taking care of myself. " You have something other then that to dance in right? Dresses are harder to dance in when your first learning."
Kisten nodded swinging his pack down. "A pair of loose p.j.s and a long tunic. I wasn't sure what to wear while dancing." He still wasn't sure what was the best of the two.
" Pajama pants will be okay for not, but try to find something alittle tighter for the next time okay." Grabbing his coat he slipped into it. " Now what is it your wanting to learn, i now most things other then Ballet..."
Tighter? Would his jeans work? But they where filthy from yard work and didn't seem proper to dance it. Maybe he could borrow something then. "Alright." He paused and then blinked. "Ballet?" He questioned trying to think. "Isn't dancing well dancing?" Kenna chuckled and shook his head. " Nope, there are many different styles, jazz, tap, hip hop, exotic." He said listing off a few he knew he could teach since they came like breathing to him. " Then theres ballroom..."
Kisten went oooh. "Ummm, could you teach all of them? So I can see which one fits me best? If that alright?" He asked scuffing a foot.
" It will take a while and alot of hard work, i mean practicing when your at home too." He was pulling a key from his pocket when the reached an older looking building. " You have to eat, sleep and dream dance."
"I have a lot of space to practice." The gardens or Sandalon's now abandon room. "Eat, sleep, dream dance," he muttered looking at the older building.
" It used to be a dance studio." He said flicking on the lights. He loved this place, even secretly wanted to buy it but knew he couldn't afford it even while working two jobs.
Walking over tot he radio he brought over the day before he flicked through the cd's. " What would you like to learn first?"
"Makes sense." To dance to have a dance studio. He looked around the old building taking in the lighting. It was pretty.
"Something simple..I should change," he added glancing around for someplace to change his clothing to something more appropriate.

" To you left is a hall and then on the left side there's a bathroom, everything works and it's all clean go ahead and change i'll pick out something for us to work with okay."
Kenna sighed smiling happily he was at home in the dance studio. He lived, breathed and slept dance. Hell he danced while he cleaned.
He beamed and scurried off into the hall and towards the bathroom. He opened his back, searching though it and pulled out his shirt and pants of soft gray.
Kisten fingers unlaced the sides of his dress, folding it and storing it in his pack, switching into the soft gray outfit. He kicked off his sandals adding them to the bundle, pulling on a pair of soft socks and wander out.
"This alright Kenna?" He called walking back.
" Perfect, cept for the socks your feet will slip on the floor." He siad as he kicked off his own shoes and socks. " Were going to start with a simple hip hop number.
"Ooh, okay no socks." He sat down and peeled off his socks rolling them up. "Alright, a hip hop number."
Kenna smiled and turned on the radio just loud enough so you could hear the beat. " Okay we'll start with some thing easy. Like this." He do i kinda one, two step.
Kisten eyes closed as the music started, nodding his head to the unfamiliar sounds. "This is different. Shadow likes rock and roll, celitic, and alternitive." He opened his eyes and blinked. "What?"
Kenna chuckled and shook his head. " You'll get used to it and really you can change the moves to fit almost any dance style." He said before showing Kisten the move again. " think you can do that?"
Kisten looked down at Kenna feet, lips moving slightly to the beat as his feet shifted beneath him. "I think I can." It didn't look too difficult. He shifted slightly before trying the two steps himself. "This right?"
Kenna watched and nodded. " That's it, try to loosen you body a bit. Relax." he said showing how to stand and still look alert yet the tension left his body.
Try as he might Kisten couldn't make himself relax. He was to full of energy and excitement at the idea of being taught t kept him a bit edgy and eager. Instead of the relaxed pose he keep bouncing on the balls of his feet. "I don't waana relax."
" Well you have to, it's easier on both of us if your relaxed and ready to go when we do this other wise it, gets stressful." Kenna said knowing from experience.
Kisten sigh and closed his eyes, moving back and forth on his feet till his shoulders relaxed and all the tension eased out. "I'm okay."
Kenna nodded and and showed him another step a little harder then the last one. " Okay, try that a couple times and then we'll put them together."
With a stretch, Kisten reopened his eyes watching Kenna feet. "Mmm," he nodded and began to mimic the step show. "It's..kind of slower then I thought it would be."
" It'll get faster when you put all the moves together, remember your just learning the steps to have them go fast would be confusing."

The sun baked his back as he knelt into the dark earth, tugging weeds out of the vegetables. He could smell the sun baked dirt and green things and the slightest whiff of flowers from the vines growing onto the fence. It was peaceful simple work and he was collecting stains, the plants breaking and dying his blue fingers with green.
He brushed off his hands, leaning back with a soft sigh. His toes dug into the loose dirt as he rested blowing a purple pink strand of loose hair from his eyes. He swiped it away leaving a smudge of dirt on his cheek. He needed the soothing simple work to clear his mind. It had been over loaded. The youth looked down at the torn jeans, plucking at a rip and the dirt. His attire had started to become one of those questions. Sandalon was another. The kitten had come back to visit with his mate and four babies. Sandy’s babies, his favorite person had cute little fluff balls of fur that had climbed all over him, nibbled and gummed his skin. “They where so adorable. Weren’t they Joscelin.” He questioned looking back at the young goat like creature just coming out the doggy door. He chuckled and sigh. Though How had a boy carry babies? Didn’t girls have the babies?
“Kisten! Time to come in, breakfast!”
He ran a hand though his hair before shoving the weeds in a bucket. After dumping them in the compost pile, if pile of weeds could be counted as such, he walked into the house to take a shower and clean up. “Joscelin come on. You don’t want to be late!”

His feet swung back and forth as he sat on the chair, looking at the door. Kisten drummed his fingers squirming, tired of waiting. “A’shii. You promised to be here before four,” he nearly wailed, looking at the clock swiftly approaching four thirty.
Jingles of small bells and the merry yell made his head perk up, scrambling for the back door. “A’shi!” He yelled, jumping on the strange mix of unicorn and wolf. “You are late.”
“Sorry kid, I needed to pick up someone.” A’shi ruffled his hair grinning. “Kisten this is Aure. Aure, this is Kist. He wants to be a dancer.”
Kisten froze, eyes widening at the dark, dark, dark young man behind his friend. He was black! Small markings of red highlighted his skin, bright green eyes, and short blonde hair that reached his jaw line matching the fox ear and tail. And wings, not feather wings but wonderful wings of metal? That moved? “Um….”He was speechless. A small smile twitched on the others face, hands smoothing down the vivid silk wraps forming a skirt and top. A third forming a headscarf that ran down to his bum. “So you want to be an dancer?”
“Umm…”
“Aure! You shocked him speechless,” A’shi exclaimed grinning. “Aure is a friend from way back. We are nearly the same age and our parents know each other somewhat. I asked him, and he says he’ll help out.”
”I will not take you from your teacher but I can help you with stretching among other things. If you build up strength and flexibility and take your lessons you can be a great dancer. We are going shopping correct?”
A’shi grinned. “If he’s going to dance, he needs to look the part. Come along now.”
“Thank you.” Kisten muttered, flustered.

Leg rising, Kisten set it on the bar holding it till it began to ache before lowering the limb. He raised his other leg, stretching before letting it fall. His hand pushed his hair back from his eyes, stuffing it under his headband. He continued though his routine of stretches both the ones Kenna walked him though before they danced and the ones Aure added to help his flexibility and balance.
After he sat down, breathing slowly to drink some water before going into the dance steps Kenna had taught him. The hip-hop routine was simple, easy for him to remember each and every step. The steps in themselves where harder for him to complete over and over again, the muscle memory wasn’t their quite yet and he had to keep thinking where to place his feet. How they had to be pointed, placed, how his body should face. It was easy to go over them in his mind, but dance them it was hard.

I meet someone today. After I finished my dance lession with Kenna. His name is Macyn and he seemed grumpy. I could be wrong though; I was rather tired out. I don't think he likes Makenna either. He gave me the evil eye when I said Kenna was teaching me. ....I think he did. It just made me feel odd.

He stirred the mcflurrie watching the m&m mix into the soft serve ice cream. He took a bite out of his dessert before looking up at Aure. He was sore from his work out with the odd anthropomorphic humanoid, sitting in the others small car as they went home. A carefully wrapped package was in his lap and he was twitchy in eagerness to open it. “What is it?” “Your birthday present. Since I missed it.” The short golden wave of hair bounced slightly as the car turned onto his street. “You know what it is. Guess.” He said amused smoothly parking into driveway. The dark skin boy stretched before nodding. “You can open it now.” Kisten tore open the delicate foil paper spilling out a length of black silky cloth with white and silvery circles. “It’s beautiful. Ummmm what is it?” He asked shaking it out. “Clue. You have seen me wear it before.” Aure stretched his feet, large hoop ears swinging. His red nail polish gleamed slightly in the light. “A sarong?” He asked surprise rubbing the silk fabric between his fingers. “I..don’t know what to say.” “Well go inside and try it on. I wrote the instructions on folding it in your car. There two pieces you figure out which one is the top and which is the bottom.” Aure reached over, opening his door. “Go on now.” Kisten squealed before running towards the house, eager to try on his new outfit. He forgot to take off his sandals, racing to the bathroom and shutting the door as he stripped out of his clothing to try on the wrap about folds of cloth. He tied the knots and swirled in the mirror in his native islander outfit. He ran out, sandals slapping the titles before and jumped into the others arms. “Thank you, thank you. It’s so silky.” He ran back laughing. “Shadda! Shadda come see!” Shadda looked out of the window. “You look very nice Kisten.”

I don’t know what I’m really doing anymore. Dance, I like dance classes yes. I enjoy finger art, shopping, clothes, reading but something missing. Or maybe someone….Shadda says I’m too young to be in love. I don’t think what I’m missing is love. I think it’s a friend.
Everyone I know is older then I am or young enough that I don’t have anything in common with them. Joscelin has grown but he’s still a child. Both Asher and Kayin have left and Kazuki. Shadda has long since say, time and time again her home is a place for them to stay till they wish to leave. She can’t keep them here.
We had one new resident move in. His name is Haku and he is beautiful and fiery. He’s a tiny man with curly blonde hair with copper streaks and bright green eyes. He also has a tail and ears of a fox and a little naga that follows him around like a puppy. The Naga’s name is Skelly and he’s sweet but young, to young for us to have anything in common.
I guess I want someone like ‘Kenna’s Orion. I like Orion. I like ‘Kenna. I like the way they act with each other. They know what one other thinks. Sandalon and his mate Remi don’t have the same thing but they match each other well with their difference. And the babies, the babies are adorable. Little Kami, Bell, Izzie, and Eli. The family visited till everything became loud and things nearly broke. The party was moved to the front yard and then latter out of the neighborhood.
So, I guess a search is in order. To find that one someone.. friend, love, dire enemy. Someone to test me to make me think, I want someone. I’m tired of just existing.

Kisten watched the pair of skunk kitten on the living room floor. They where cute things. Bell was the color of caramel with white hair and the white tip of his tail. He had green eyes and faint chubby pink cheeks. Kamlyn was gray like his mother with faintly way black hair and golden eyes. Little carmel color ears and a skunky tail. Just how did he get con into being babysitter?
He shook his head, rolling the ball back to Bell, watching the baby grab at it with small hands miss and land on his bum with a little thump. Kamlyn found the ball and flopped on it with a whee.
"Kamlyn that Bell's toy. You have the squeeky thing.." He said squeeking the mouse like plasic toy. "And a teething ring some where.." He reached over searching though the bag Sandalon left and came up with the ring of soft plastic. "Here you go. No, Bell's ball is not for you to droll on." Kisten grumbled taking the toy away, nose wrinkling. He gave the teething ring to Kamlyn and wiped the ball off handing it to Bell. "Here you go Bell."

The babies where sleeping finally. Kisten smiled slightly as they slumbered resting on the chair. Babies where active buggers. He streched before leaning his head back, eyes closing. Next time, he was asking for payment.
His nose wrinkled, feet steping in something wet. He looked down and lifted his feet. "Ewww....baby spit up."

The world is changing once again. I spent the day siting on the roof, feet dangling of the edge watching the leaves finish changing color and wondering when that first chill of frost will blanket the ground leaving it pristine white instead of fading green.
The sun reaching though my coat to warm me as I sit out there, mediating on the roof for one last time. The snow will soon make climbing to the roof to dangerous for a weekly thing. INstead, I will just sit and relax by the window, huddled in blankets and sipping cocoa. Or something like that...
