The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] "Wanna call it quits," asked [Kaylay] to their twin whom was lying upon the unbroken ground a bit back from the crater that was just made. "Here, take my hand. I'll walk." They reached out their hand to their twin, who happily grasped it and then seemed to just be pulled into [Kaylay]'s body and absorbed. They let out a rare yawn and looked around at the destruction of this place. "I should probably get my a** outta here." The twin dipped away and decided to head to the academy again.

Souta sighed and pulled a can of paint from the bag and twirling it in his hand. "I'm already gonna get crap for this, so why should I let you do more?" He asked, incredulous at the idea of potentially making things worse. It was clear he'd take some convincing, but if there was anyone capable of doing so, his sister was that person. Either by being annoying or some other nefarious means, she'd find a way to pry the bag from his hands. Speaking of which... "If you're gonna paint a mural you gotta try harder than that." The boy scoffed, pointing up at the ceiling, unwittingly wandering off the hardline stance of being against this thing entirely.
Her mismatched eyes carefully watched the spinning can of spray paint. Mostly because it was semi-precious to her as it was a gift from her birth mother. Mizuki had always been a highly supportive mother when it came to Yuno's pursuits. Though Yuno was well aware that this artistic endeavor may not go over so well with the woman. Really though the point was that mom and dad weren't making time for her even though she was in the village now. So really if her stunt got them to do something it was a win. Right now though she needed Souta to stop being a blockhead. However before she could come up with something the boy practically taunted her. "I can't try harder if you won't give me my paint you... you... REPROBATE!" The final word was clearly pulled from her a** at the last minute. While she was well read, particularly so for an eight year old, Yuno still wasn't that fast with the tongue.
She huffed in frustration while grinding her heel against the floor. Taking a deep breath, she eyed her brother with a curious glint. Her brain now catching up and realizing that Souta hadn't gone to rat on her yet because of something. Was he interested? It seemed like he was convinced that he was already gonna get in trouble anyway. "Besides it's not as easy as you think. Free handing spray paint is difficult."

Souta's head tilted as he looked at the girl with an arched eyebrow. Reprobate? Did she even know what that word meant? Souta was pretty sure he didn't, and, well, he was torn between it making him mad and feeling nothing at all as a result. And now it was difficult. "You sprayed a toddler's crayon doodle of a monkey pooping on people and this is difficult?" He asked incredulously, looking down at the now stationary can in his hand. Surely it couldn't be that hard, could it? "I think you're just bad at it and making excuses." Souta never could resist taking a little prod at the stuck up Yuno. For all his normally well mannered ways, he was, at the end of the day, still an older brother. You stood up for your siblings, got in fights for them, but that was all just to make sure you had free reign to pick on them and visa versa. Part of being family, even if that concept was lost on Yuno sometimes.
Todoroki was a good boy. He could walk himself to the dojo all by himself. As he arrived there, he knew that he wanted to train. The dog could never unveil his full potential while in the presence of Sorato. Now that he was away from the boy, however, it was time to get stronger.
Todoroki began by practicing his strength. The dog found some weights and lifted them with his teeth. Todoroki then placed some weights on his back and did some dog exercises. Don't ask a dog how he exercises. That's very private. Anyway, the good boy did so until he felt stronger. (Training post 1)

Once Todoroki finished his physical exercise, Todoroki practiced his speed. He ran wildly around the training area. He ran on walls and rooftops. Being a ninja dog was fun. The dog continued to work on his speed. He did this until he felt faster. (Training post 1)

Now that Todoroki felt enhanced, he practiced being a ninja dog. The dog had an idea of an attack that he had the idea of! Todoroki applied a lot of stamina to his back paws and leaped forward. He extended his front paws with the intention of toppling someone over. Then, as he landed, he placed his paws where he needed to in order to bind someone down. This was Todoroki's idea. To knock someone down and pin them. (Takedown: Learned)
Now Todoroki needed to meditate.
Todoroki stretched out his front paws and did the downward dog yoga position. He then retreated into an actual laying down as he closed his eyes and meditated. The dog mastered the art of molding chakra while he was resting. He felt his chakra network expand as he did so.
Todoroki thought of handseals. They were useless to him since he was a dog. However, the molding of chakra was still imperative to the success of his chakra network. It was hard to mold chakra as a dog. However, he was very good at it. After all, he was a good boy.
Todoroki kept his eyes closed and continued meditating. His puppy mind was empty and he felt himself become one with the stream of chakra. The dog felt his own chakra, green in color, cover him. He liked this feeling. It felt like being with Sorato.
Todoroki continued to meditate. The dog was a natural at relaxing. Handseals and chakra molding were within his subconscious. The dog practiced it while also keeping his mind open. He was quite the multitasker.
Todoroki continued to meditate for a bit more. Just enough to expand his chakra. He stood up and felt himself rejuvenated. He knew that he did a good job. After all, he was a good boy.
Todoroki decided to do it again.

"I dare you to try it!" she blurted out face red like she was maybe about to cry. Between the insults and his taking of her things she was emotionally overwhelmed. Why couldn't Souta just shut up for once and be a cool older brother? He was always so mad that she got more attention, his jealousy made him act like a jerk and she hated it. Hated him for it. Or at least so she thought in the moment. The truth was far from Yuno's temporary isolated feelings. Of course it was also true that her outburst just might push Souta to do something dumb. Really right now if she walked away the worst he'd probably get would be a scolding, read beating, for not keeping an eye on the rambunctious schemer. However if he were to actually paint or tag some stuff in the village well it'd probably be about ten times worse. Of course if he backed down Yuno would be able to say he was chicken. She'd mock him endlessly for it. Well at least for the next couple of months.
The boy scowled at his younger sister. She flung insults with the best of them, and yet wilted like a paper flower in the rain when someone returned the favor. "FINE!" He shouted back, not realizing he was equally being silly by accepting her bait. His mind was on shutting her up, and showing her up, in equal measure. And so he started off to find a place to work his magic. Or so the thought went in his head. Where, well, that was the big question, wasn't it? He'd need to balance visibility with viability. Couldn't risk getting caught in the act, but also needed to put it somewhere people would see it. He smirked as he decided on the location, flipping the can in the air and snatching it with confidence. "My turn." And with that he was off to the first stop on his mural tour.
His return of fine told her all she needed to know. Souta was in. Sometimes being the crybaby younger sister paid off. It'd be a lie if Yuno hadn't realized over the years that crying could get her things. Adults especially tended to give her what she wanted when she cried. Such knowledge and experience made crying easier but the truth was Souta could have actually flustered her into crying real tears. Mainly because of her present immaturity. As Souta moved to make his own mural she began to calm down a little. At least now she knew he wouldn't be a rat. "You should start by just tagging something Souta." She was quick to follow after him as she did still want her paint back.
Up until this point Yuno had been able to schedule her academy classes such that she'd had not classes in the physical arts. However this semester she was in for rough time. Her schedule had caught up to her and now she had almost nothing taijutsu classes and weapons training. Today's lesson was on mobility, parrying, and throws. Primarily being taught to handle and take down larger opponents. It was very difficult and Yuno soon worked up a sweat. Her lessons in these arts would persist for weeks. [1] After that class she had one on more brutish side of hand to hand combat. That class focused on blocks, keeping your footing, and strikes. It was a lot more fun than the other class but Yuno seemed to not be very good at the striking part. She was smaller and younger than a lot of classmates. This class was going to rough she could tell. However in time, the girl would learn. [2]
Following her other two taijutsu classes she had two more. The first one was interesting in that it was very cerebral. It was all about honing one's mind to take quick decisive action. In essence learning to study one's opponent and in an instant, destroy them. [1] Just like her previous classes this training was followed by a much more physical training. It was still all about the mind, but more about learning to counter an opponent with their own game. While interesting it wasn't really Yuno's style. This was going to be a long semester. [2]
As the semester dragged on her first weapons class of the week was a welcome relief after all the taijutsu. Kunai, senbon, shuriken, all things projectile was the name of the game. Yuno wasn't the best but she wasn't bad either. Plus target practice was just plain fun. She could spend all day the range practicing. Archery was the most fun but she had a hard time picturing herself bringing a bow along on missions. [1] Since there was a lot of cross over, her class after the projectiles taught the use of small weapons. Various knives, wakizashi etc. Some of them were kind of weird, like the chain sword but she did enjoy using them. [2]
Later on in the semester her weapons classes changed subjects. The start of the afternoon held practice with medium weapons. Short swords, sickles, sabers, etc.. It was here that Yuno got to practice with her rapier. That class was actually a lot of fun and after so many days of physical training she was much more able to keep up with her classmates. [1] The latter half of the afternoon covered large weapons. She didn't really get to try out a lot of the large weapons due to her age sadly. Of course that didn't exempt her from the work, no quite the contrary. Yuno had to both take notes on the instruction and during the exercises she was forced to work out and train her body so that one day she could actually wield such weapons if necessary. [2]
The end of the semester actually turned out to be quite fun. Once everything else was out of the way the class got try out all kinds of weird weapons. From firing a cannon, to improvised weapons, to the workings of siege weapons they studied it all. However in the end Yuno was still happiest when her classes were over. [1] [Exit]

Souta was back to finish off his formless training. Dedicated as always, he started with small weapons training. A wooden blade was all they'd let him have, but he picked it up quick. They fit well with his fighting style, more connected to his body than normal weapons. It was easy, really, and it felt right. Like a direct extension of his normal fighting actions. Plus, it was possible to use his normal punches, kicks, and acrobatic moves. A few minutes of hitting the dummy and Souta was satisfied that he had his stuff worked out. [ Small Weapons ]
For the time being, Souta decided to take a break. He stopped and knelt, remembering something his mother had mentioned before. Sometimes it was better to consider your actions carefully, and strike with strength and accuracy. She had recounted to him the tale of the samurai of the Land of Iron, how they found battles one strike at a time. Swift and decisive, their actions represented the maximum possible skill, strength, and speed. Whole battles could be decided in a single move, and every moment was important. He couldn't say it was what he preferred, but he could feel the effects of the improved focus already. [ Soft Mental ]
Souta continued his bit of meditation, considering it a nice little break from his physical training. He'd been moving around a lot lately and it was nice to not have to deal with the impacts. It wasn't that he couldn't handle them, he was still young, just that always moving all the time could be a bit of a downer. You ended up sore at the end of the day, and Souta had been finding himself sore a lot lately. There was no chance he connected that stuff back to his recent grow spurts, but he felt he needed a break right now regardless. Running in tandem with Yuno was always a trip, and he didn't really want to be worn out AND in trouble at the same time, even if in his heart of hearts he didn't feel bad about the graffiti. [ Hard Mental ]
Souta moved on to probably the most common weapon category. Medium weapons were exceptionally versatile as a category. They could be wielded by a large variety of different fighters, and used in all but the smallest spaces. For his training the Arashikage's son chose a wooden katana. It was a bit big for him still, but it would feel the need nicely. He subsequently spent the next half an hour to an hour carefully practicing his movements with it, familiarizing himself with the weapon and training his arms, wrists, and hands to use it with a basic level of proficiency. [ Medium Weapons ]
The next set of weapons, well, weren't weapons at all really. For this training, Souta had been instructed simply to imagine how he might use found objects in a fight. Some were easy, like his wooden sword, or a chair. The latter could be used as a blunt object, a club functionally. A cup or glass could easily be a projectile. Canes, reeds, etc. There were a lot of options there, too many for him to really address at one time. [ Strange Weapons ]
__ Kenshin with the genin squad in tow would walk through the secured stormcloud district with numerous police officers saluting him on the way. Once they stepped into the dojo he would lead them into a large private training space. The room was sprawling and enormous with racks of training weapons, weights, and other equipment. This was a room where taijutsu and bukijutsu classes were taught to a lot of people. "Listen up! We'll start with a warmup, do twelve laps around the room and as many pushups as you can handle." Now it was time to test their grit and discipline.

Kojiro would follow first behind Kenshin. Arriving at the dojo the teacher and mentor would turn to his students and quickly instruct them to begin doing laps around the dojo. As Kojiro began, he would estimate the length of the dojo and equate the laps to roughly one mile. '6:48' he thought, knowing roughly that was his pace for a single mile. As he moved through the laps he would feel the slight fatigue at the end. Once completed though, he would know there was no time for rest. He would drop to a front leaning rest position and begin dipping down, his chest coming parallel with the ground, body in a straight, uniform position. He would reach 68 consecutive pushups within two minutes before returning to a kneeling position. The standard for Genin during the academy was a maximum of 8 minute mile and a minimum of 50 push ups. He wasn't leagues beyond the class, but his scores were among the top five in physical abilities.
Kojiro would raise to a seiza kneeling position, awaiting further direction.

The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] [Kaylay] followed suit when the group was led off from the warehouse scene. They had arrived at the dojo and [Kaylay] immediately got hyped to do some taijutsu training. They'd already learned as much as they can in the styles they specialized in, but a spar was always something they'd enjoy. When they heard that their task would be just some physical exercise, they weren't all too thrilled, but understood that they had to do it. This person was to be their squad captain. They had to follow orders.
[Kaylay] started off at a decent pace doing their laps. One... Two... Three... They began to speed up. Now instead of the slow running speed they had, they were into it to finish with a decent time. They began pumping out these laps as fast as they could.Soon their count was up to seven... eight... nine... They were moving quickly. Now it was time to finish the last three laps with their maximum speed. They weren't faster than what was expected of a genin, but they did move rather swiftly as they breezed through the last three laps.
[Kaylay] came to a halt near their original starting point and dropped to the ground. Push-ups were a task that was more their speed. They punched both fists into the floor and shot both legs out so they could get into a proper push up position. Shoulders squared, body flat, feet together, arms at shoulder width, and down, and up, and down, and up... [Kaylay] paced themselves, but didn't seem to be exerting too much energy. They would speed up after hitting about fifty push-ups. It would be long til the passed one hundred, and then minutes after that, would hit two hundred, and then stop. "I can do a lot more than this, but I wanna have energy for whatever we do next. Should I quit yet?" they asked Kenshin.

From the Kage Spire Yuno made her way to the dojo. She was mad as hell and wanted to work off some steam with physical exertion before heading to the academy to practice her suiton. As she moved through the halls her mind was distracted by thoughts of irritation. So much was her distraction that she heard no noise coming from her chosen room despite the sounds of physical activity being clear. Upon entering however her pink and brown eyes soon settled of on Kenshin. Mentally she refused to call him Captain Kosei. "You," she muttered with irritation while staring at him. "I came here to release my frustrations via rapier kata and yet I am confounded by your appearance within this training space." Yuno tended to get wordy, to put it lightly when she was mad. This was one of those times. She had half a mind to turn around and leave. Of course she was also stubborn like her father and refused to let him deter her training. So it was that she tensely stood her ground and waited for the man's reply. For the briefest of moments her eyes shifted to the boy and the other kid. They looked to be about her own age but she didn't recognize them so either they were in the class ahead of her of had a different homeroom.
Todoroki excitedly ran around the dojo. The mission caused the canine high stress, so having a chance to run around caused him a great amount of relief. As he finished and saw the others doing sit ups, Todoroki did his best to mimic the humans. However, his legs did not bend as a humanβs did. The dog whimpered weakly until the girl came in. She smelled like food, which caused the dog to excitedly run over to her with an open mouth and panting. His tail wagged happily as he tried to imagine all of the yummy food this human had.
