Yue only nodded in response before sighing. "It's Yue." He said. "I apologize for my rudeness. I have issues regarding my name before." As if his body has a mind of its own, he bowed at the librarian. He realized this and immediately stood up straight, tugging at his cloak once again.

The commotion had caught the wanderer's attention, a frown on his face. He heard Allister's words and agreed with him. It confused him why some people would treat others as if they were trophies or... objects. Pain suddenly hit his head and he winced. Yue kept his calm mask perfect despite the pain but his eyes showed otherwise. "... Excuse me for a moment..." He said before walking out to get some air.

❆ •☾•• Allister had been focused on the commotion when he looked back to see Yue. He caught on that something was off. "Are you alright? You looked like you were in pain just now. Here, let's go to the balcony. The air outside is cool tonight, it should help." He opened the door to an unused balcony. "If the pain is too great, I know some basics on medicine. And the princess is a healer. I'm certain she'd agree to help you. She's pretty much the kindest person here." He offered a patient smile. He seemed to really like the other boy. Something about him seemed to draw Allister. ••☽• ❆

Yue blinked and nodded his thanks before going to the balcony, grabbing on to the railing and holding on to it as if his life depended on it. The cool night air instantly blew against him and his headache lessened a bit as visions flashed in his mind.

Looking at Allister, Yue felt a little embarrased for having the librarian see him like this. But he now felt more at ease with him. After what felt like an eternity, the pain subsided. With that, he gave Allister a small gentle smile. "I'm fine, don't worry." He said and closed his eyes to let the wind comfort him. "I'm sorry you have to see that." He apologized and fell quiet.

╭ღ╯Rochelle caught a good amount of the conversation between the human and the Prince. She noticed the chains on the lion girl, as well as the uncomfortable vibe she got from her. Slavery?! Of all things!? What was this world coming to? Lion shifters were native to Ventiaus, so it was understandable that Arthur felt responsible for this awful business. Arthur was a great man who felt compassion for all his people, even people like Rochelle who resorted to crime in a tight spot. She knew him too well, and understood his guilt for not being able to stop this problem sooner. Even a king couldn't know everything that went on in his territory. She wished she could have done something to help. She frowned lightly, hoping the girl would be alright, as well.╰ღ╮

Byakuya rubbed one of his temples, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. He really didn't enjoy losing his cool like that, and it was made worse by the fact that it was during such a crowded event. The ball was supposed to be a place to relieve stress, not gather more of it. Byakuya looked over when someone expressed their displeasure on what had happened and saw that he'd managed to disturb the king of their allied kingdom. As if this night couldn't get any worse. "Unfortunately, such matters are out of my hands and my father allows far more than he should." At the very least, Arthur was impressed with how the situation was handled, so he could only hope there wouldn't be any negative backlash. "A pleasure to finally meet you, Your Majesty, though I wish the circumstances were not so grim." Byakuya turned his gaze to the lady shifter, noticing the man that approached her. It appeared the man was worried for his fellow shifter. "Every wound heals. All that's needed is time and patience." Byakuya turned away from the two shifters. Something in his mind told him this would be the last he would see of them for a long while.

The prince's attention was turned to the chatter among the guests and he perked a bit when he heard mention of his sister. Looking around, he spotted the youngest royal and he wished he had sentenced that noble to death after all. "Forgive me, Your Majesty, but there is something I must take care of." He turned to Tasha then, ready to ask if he would excuse him, but Byakuya's nerves were shot and he instead held his hand out to the young noble. "I would feel more comfortable if you would accompany me a while longer, Lady Tasha." He was relieved when Tasha accepted his request. Weaving an arm around his waist in a protective manner, Byakuya made his way to Rinalia before releasing Tasha and reaching up to wipe away his sister's tears with his sleeve. "You shouldn't have been exposed to such cruelty. Are you well, Rina?"

The woman looked up once more as she felt his hand beneath her chin a light tint of pink on her cheeks. She couldnt believe that he was angry at what happened to her and she seemed a bit surprised that he wanted to be anywhere near her. As she looked into his blue eyes she started to relax a bit not sure if it was because she was with another of her kind or because he just seemed to have a soothing aura about him. As he said he wanted to talk with her she looked a little surprised. "Why would you wish to talk to me? Im nothing special." She couldnt look away from the man before her though and she didnt understand just why he had her attention. It was as if something in her was starting to awaken and being close to him she felt something strong and powerful wanting to break through but her fear and years of being forced to submit caused her to have an internal war.

❆ •☾•• Allister was suprised at the mention of such memory loss. He was going to say something before Yue asked a question, only then did he remember he was still holding his book. "Oh, this?" He held it up. "It's a book on sword techniques. The best in history recorded so far actually. Each chapter has dedicated descriptions of how to preform each one. I've read it several times actually.. I wouldn't say it was my favorite book, but I've been trying to learn the techniques. I feel obligated to learn them because of my father.." He trailed off. "Yue.. You know, I may know some ways to help you. The Thalassian Royal Library has every book you may ever need, and I've read a great deal of them. I read once that some dragon gods can heal peoples scars. I'm not sure if it applies to mental scars, but a visit to the temples shouldn't hurt." He suggested. Now he really wanted to help. ••☽• ❆
