FEF Boardgame - Game 6 - Secret of the Great Lake

Annis let out a little frustrated breath as she dodged the last of the spears, pushing her hair away from her eyes. "Better be quick crossing this space," she called back to her other landbound companions. She then flew across the water to join Tibarn on the island, stopping on tile 25 to similarly investigate the space with him. She saluted wordlessly as she landed, and she put her hands on her hips as she began to look, then got distracted and talked to Tibarn instead. "So, uh, things goin' well with Vah and, uh, the lady?"

Rhys tilted his head a little bit upwards as he managed to see the two bird laguz take to the skies, or what perhaps seemed to be a glimpse of figures soaring in the air heading over to the other side. So, I was right after all.. Boy I sure wish I had wings The priest sighed in admiration for those two.

Everyone else was scattering around the place from one place to the next, Rhys just couldn't keep track of them all. The nearest person appeared to be one of his companions, Alex. The only beorc besides himself in this ragtag group mostly consisting of Laguz. Rhys decided to move closer to him on space 5

"Hello.. there.. Alex.. if I'm not mistaken?" Rhys gave a slight smile trying to not give away that he was still freezing cold from cool splash he took earlier. His robe hasn't dried off yet either.

Only slightly late to the party because looking this good takes time, Aruna emerged from the lake water like a graceful and majestic mermaid. Maybe wearing so many layers to go swimming was a bad idea. The nagini wrung out her dress and cape the best she could. "I wonder how hard algae is to get out of fabric," she murmured to herself.

Aruna slithers to space 20 and investigates this platform a little more.

As Sunil shifts over to space 8...

As Alex moves to space 5...

As Tibarn inspects his surroundings...

...he also sees blue tile, but with water to the right. Under his own feet, nothing seems to be of any concern, save for an odd sense that something is going to change. In front of him, there is a switch of some sort. It appears old, but based on what they have witnessed thus far, the mechanics that function in this place still seem to be holding up well enough. What it operates exactly is unclear. To the left to the left is Annis... but nothing more of any note. Behind him, there doesn't seem to be anything noteworthy.

As Tibarn finishes inspecting on space 29...

...the group is suddenly hit with Low Morale!

All allies receive -1 to all stats for 3 turns. Guess that explains the odd feeling.

As Aruna inspects her surroundings...

...she also sees blue tile, with water to the right. Under her own feet, and to her left, nothing seems to be of any concern. In front of her, as well as behind her, there is something on the surface of the tiles, the safety of which is unknown. However, whatever is on the tile behind her seems to be different from the tile in front of her.

As everyone else moves...

...nothing happens!

Sunil found a thing! Yes! Great success! He needed to re-evaluate the dungeon a little. Let's give it a score of 7.8/10. Yes, that should suffice. It lost a lot of points because there was too much water. If only he could push it off a counter.

It looks like the others were starting to move. Better start setting up for a wombo combo. The cat moves to space 23 and attempts to trigger the switch.

Alex gives a smile and a wink to Rhys. "That's my name. Pleasure working with you Rhys."

He gives a small salute to the healer as he pressed on forward to space 16
