Why do they want to join?: Filira met a lion by the name of Timiza'upeo (owned by Masamune) during her drum quest some time ago. The two of them became friends, and Timiza spoke highly about his home in the Pridelands, and moved Filira with such stories. They struck up a close friendship, and the lioness has now decided to leave the Nchi'mahadi to join -- she feels a strong calling to this land, and has decided to no longer resist the pull of joining a new land, to call this place her new home.

Why do they want to join?: Elam was a member of U'W. When it collapsed he wondered aimlessly very said to be without his family. He didn't really have a direction to life and was basically lost. Years passed before he was able to locat even one family member and that was his daughter Adri who had found a new home in the Pridelands, and had started a family of her own. Having found one of his daughters he feels like he has also found a home.

Why this rank? Xhosa is hopeless as a hunter, enough so that before joining the pride she was regularly on the verge of starving to death. She hates that she is a drain on the pride since she can't bring in enough food to justify her life she feels....but Xhosa is a mother to the core. She is loving but stern, patient yet playful, and willing to fight to the death for her charges.
