The vampire looked at Jared and raised an eyebrow. It seemed the teen wasn't happy to be challenged, over what he wasn't sure yet. He would certainly need to keep an eye on the other however. "Don't worry Alvin, its not easy to get to the roof of this castle. Trust me." Of course he knew exactly were the man was, but he would be sure to search everywhere with Alvin, maximizing their alone time. "Well, lets get going. Don't want your guard to think I kidnapped you for a bride or something"

"Im sure your father would get over it. I can be very persuasive when I decide to be." When Alvin spoke of him hitting on the other he laughed. Ive been hitting on others far longer then you could imagine Alvin. After all, the history I have shared, I lived through. Sure he probably shouldn't have done that, it might chase the boy away, but he wasn't sure what else he was to do at the moment.

Vlad looked at Alvin and shook his head. "Well the cat is out of the bag, or I could say bat. Im not human. So, a haunted castle is sort of already in existence. The painting we passed earlier, that was me back when I had a heartbeat to speak of." Vlad ran his hand through his hair and sighed. "Im what you would call a vampire Alvin. I had thought you might find it interesting to know the man you are talking to actually knows the history of this place because he witnessed it first hand. I sent Warren off earlier so we could be alone, but I can just as easily find him again. There is something about you, I cant place it. I just want to get to know you better. I am sorry if my actions have scared you. I will bring you to your guard and you can return to your class. I wont bother you again."

"Do you want proof I am who and what I say I am?" He asked the teen after a moment. It was interesting to see that Alvin wasn't running from him in fear just then. "I have been around far longer then your home town has. I watched this town become what it is, have kept most of the criminals out." Well, the ones he didn't feed from anyways.

Thinking for a moment, Vlad showed Alvin his fangs. "Your right, I wont hurt you. I have an interest in you, but I have done my best not to push things too far with you. However, you aren't like others I have courted and Im starting to think I have lost my touch."

"I only sent him away, he got lost and ended up in the dungeons. Perhaps he is looking at the weapons we used to use. Its not like we really have a lot of those around anymore. As a bodyguard he would probably have an interest in ancient weapons." Vlad shrugged. "Im not playing at anything. I have an attraction to you yes, but Im not going to mess with your guard seriously."

"It will be harder for me to talk to you Alvin, but I can do so. It wont be easy at all but its not impossible. I will come to visit if you would be alright with that." The vampire stated before Warren spoke. "You insult my hospitality Warren, Im a better host then to be sure someone so precious could get hurt."
