Abrila Variga - Construction Demolition: 18 points
Abrila overslept, and while she didn't mind that one bit, she missed her usual course. Which meant she had to find something else to do to look busy, before some little brat child squawked. She really didn't like the kids, always tripping her and making her thankful her shovel made a good walking stick, too. It didn't help that she was so tall that she couldn't see them half the time until it was too late.
Eventually she found herself in construction. Oh fun, they were looking at blueprints. Today was going to be yet another test of willpower.

Intelligence- "Trolls are offered pleasant beach-walks and walks through the city for investigative purposes." Result: 6 pt Intel total: 12pt
Luxara couldn't get the recent events out of her mind. She tried and tried and tried, but she still ended up rolling around fitfully in her recuperacoon. There was someone out in the city, she just KNEW it. The shadow, the footprints... She didn't have much of a lead, but then, tracking wasn't always a walk in the park. The greenblood would return to the clues and use her superior hunting skills to find the culprit!
Luxara headed out at sundown. She rode Stagdad into the bare city. It was so quiet out here, with only the wind keeping them company. Where was the wild life? As much as she didn't like camp, at least it wasn't so empty. Her part of Four Fronds was harsh and untamed, but this was just a catastrophe.
She didn't hop off until they arrived at the spot she had searched the previous night. Luxara looked at the marks on the ground. Circled around them. Leaned down and sniffed them. She then climbed up the nearest building for a bird's eye view towards where the prints led. They had dried up in the middle of empty walking space, but if she kept on, assuming they never turned, she would end up right up at a hive. From what she could tell, the path would go right through the entrance.
With nothing to lose, Luxara crept over the marked trail, then kept going as it faded into nothing. Stagdad quit rubbing his horns on the wall to follow after her. Once she snuck up to the hive, she peeked through a window. Broken lights, plenty of debris... There were all sorts of newspapers, some shredded, some not. It even looked like a pile made a nest or something. Dirty clothes were scattered in a few places. As she looked in further, she squinted. Was that a half-eaten sandwich? It looked maybe a night or two old, from what she could see of the bread itself to the ingredients in it. While it wasn't quite fresh, there wasn't any mold or rot, either. So someone WAS lurking around here! While she couldn't prove the foot prints and hivenest were related, she could prove there was SOMETHING out here!
Larque was stealthy, and spry, and he knew certain parts of the city fairly well, since he'd been living and looting them for the past few sweeps. That was why gathering intelligence seemed like the perfect way to go. Better yet, though, he'd be able to tell anyone he happened to know to get out, and fast. Slinking through a destroyed street, he'd bee sent on a mission to check several houses for residents and supplies, and was determined to carry it out quickly and efficiently.

(12) recruiting
Vitula needed to keep moral up and he needed to do it fast. After the last two attempts of trying to rally up trolls both near and far, he new it was time to try something new and get other motivated to do a even better job then what they were doing now. Vitula laid his Violin case down on the ground and quickly unclipped his case open. Out came his old beaten up violin that he had bought at a local chittentown pawn shop. While he began to play a few notes and songs. He notice more and more trolls picking up the pace of work and starting to smile more and more. It was working, he played and played until his hands had finally given up. This was a great plan that seemed to have worked.
No one could say Atiqua lacked spirit. "I ONCE WAS A FISHIN TROLL, WHO SAILING THE SHINING SEA-" Her voice was loud and obnoxious and yet she was working. Working hard breaking nearly anything and everything that was in her line of sight that was broken and unsalvageable. Normally, she'd have been better getting scrap, recycling all helpful like. But nope. Right then and there she was going to sing.
"-AND TREASURE SO SWEET, WAS NOT EVEN EQUAL TO MEASURE A BONNIE TROLL AS HE~"
With her obvious natural talent, the highbloods couldn't kill her! She was too valuable to the crown... right? She quietly looked at the other young trolls doing construction. She was better than them, so that meant she deserved to live.
Still... Tierte knew you couldn't trust a highblood farther than you could throw one. She slipped another piece of rope under her sweater, which was starting to bulge with stolen material. She'd need to find a better place to put them.
Keionx, being Keionx, had no idea that her actions were anything other than that of an excellent role model for trolls younger and older. Here she was, a loyal, noble (in deed only of course) honest knight doing her empire proud and showing off her strength. In her mind, that should boost morale.
If she had known that it was upsetting to see her so able, she would have happily and boisterously laughed it off.
As it was, she was still working and, seeing a redblooded troll rolling a pipe unhappily, she came over, holding a very hefty looking sack on her shoulder. “Hail there, my fine fellow!” she – sort of – boomed, “Do you require assistance?” her offer was, of course, genuine and unguileful, and accompanied by a big friendly smile that displayed her sharp, even teeth. “I can help, no trouble at all!”
It was a lot harder to memorize blueprints of whole buildings than Etsali had expected. The more time she spent staring at them, the harder it was to focus. It might have been good for thieving, but this stuff was actually pretty boring, huh? Resting her head on a hand, she frowned down at another page. Maybe she should sketch out a copy on another piece of paper and take it. Orrr, even better, she could just sneak some of the originals when no one was looking later? She liked that plan.

Tonight Alifax had been approached with a different task, although perhaps not one he was entirely suited to perform. He did have military grade meteors now, though, and so he obliged.
For some reason someone on the command chain had entrusted him with some completely unfamiliar wigglers (and he had to yet again notice how...well, how young it seemed all the recruits were this year). He supposed that he was more meticulous than most (he winced to see Frossa's handiwork at the end of each day: she was skilled, certainly, but she certainly didn't care much about collateral damage), and that made him well-suited to teach this task. But it was also just reasonable: there were so many buildings that needed to be destroyed, and there was really so little time. They had to do this as efficiently as possible, or not at all.
So he demonstrated what he'd been studying the past few days: carefully striking at the weak points of walls so that they fell, cleanly, away from him, and then cleaning up the leftover bits.
Once Sinter had gotten settled into the routine of the Old Hemisect base, he was pleased to discover how comfortable he actually was with the structure. Sinter, to his own surprise, was doing quite well in his intelligence work. Having a job to do made not only Sinter happy, but the trolls working above him happy. Contributing positively to a system, much less one of this scale, was not an experience Sinter was familiar with. It was nice! ]

∞ Ephias Sagine
Activity: Construction ( 8 )
Suddenly the orangeblood made eye contact with him. Ephias stiffened. He then looked over his shoulder. He hoped fervently that she was looking for someone else. There was no one there. It was definitely him she was looking at. Worse, she was beginning to make her way towards him. Ephias scrambled his feet in a panic.
“Hail there, my fine fellow! Do you require assistance?”
That... was definitely not what he had expected. “Ex-Excuse me?” he stammered. Fine fellow? What was with the weird treatment he had received of late? Vitula had been exceedingly polite, the teen redblood from the day before had claimed he looked smart, and now this orangeblood approached him offering assistance and calling him her... 'fine fellow'. Either he was being made fun of or he had the worst luck when it came to meeting weirdos.
“I'm fine,” Ephias reassured her. Then, to prove how fine he was he stooped down to pick up the pipe. He promptly dropped it on his foot.
“Oh, god dammit!” He hopped around erratically on one foot as he tried to shake out the pain in the other. “Yes, yes I do!”
OoC: How appropriate that I rolled a critical fail! Also I need to brush up on my troll expletives.

Tamiya found success in the main center of Old Hemisect, nearest to where Bloodfest had been staged. Opportunistic trolls had flocked to the area. She took the opportunity to go door to door, spreading the word of the Empire with a pinch of her faithful flair.
Afterwards, Tamiya was exhausted. Being outgoing and interacting with terrifying strangers was too much for her, and she wanted to go home. But, Kabukidad insisted that they return to the military block, and so she went. She hated the Coastal Base. The idea that living in the base was similar to a hotel block was wearing off.

Today's Activity— Recruiting
Vulpin styled his hair up for this recruitment session. It took an hour or two to get it perfect but he was absolutely sure that looking this adorable would get the royalists some new recruits.
A teen blueblood ran up to him. "Oh dearie, you look so cute!" she told him.
I know. Vulpin was about to reply before the older troll reached out to pat his head. She fussed his hair up, and quickly went on her merry way. Vulpin was fuming, and no those weren't tears in his eyes.
Eostre tried to analyze maps, and see if she could find a suitable hiding place for the rebels. Obviously they had to be somewhere nearby right? If they wanted to hold their meeting of traitors at the same time as the loyalists, they would need to be somewhere everyone could get to... She scanned the map carefully, moving a gloved finger across it as she traced known pathways.
Unfortunately, this wasn't the sort of thing she was very good at. She preferred covert missions close up. She'd have to try that next.
Oh dear. Keionx lifted the pipe in her other arm with ease. ”Hup!” she said, holding it over her shoulder, ”No problem at all, my good sir. Now, if you would be so kind as to tell me where it was going...” she frowned. ”Unless thou needest assistance first...” she said, concerned, watching him hop around, ”In which case I could set my loads aside for the time being and carry thee to the infirmary...”
