~~Serena Fayne~~  Her crew burst out laughing again and Serena embarrassed at her own stupidness looked over at the chunk of ceiling and attempted to lift it with her mind. She couldn't concentrate however, with her staff laughing at her and Celdor just standing there. The sheet shifted slightly and crashed unceremoniously to the floor. Serena spun around and hands on hips gave them all a list of chores so long they'd be there till daybreak. They groaned their dissent but Serena had had enough. She spun on her heel and without looking at Celdor brushed past him and moved out into the corridor to escape.

Celdor looked confused and followed her into the corridor, cape flaring behind him. "Miss, are you alright?"

~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena looked up at Celdor, tears brimming.
"Yes, I'm absolutely fine. No need of a hero thank you."
She looked up and down the corridor, trying to think of someplace she could go where no one would find her. Not her room... She'd been fine with Ryan, bubbly, cheerful, maybe even a little insane... But meeting Celdor after idolising him, only to see him not even take one bit of notice of her, even making a fool out of her in front of her little crew. And now here he was...what exactly? She thought of her brothers back home how they'd always wanted to meet him and yes he was impressive but... Serena shook her head, maybe he just didn't notice women that way? Her voice cracked.
"Where can I go to see the stars but not be in anyone's way?"

"The Unity is a warship. Observation lounges are structural weaknesses and were never built. Your quarters would be the best bet."
He didn't agree, though. He always felt the need for windows, even on a warship. Structural weakness they may be, they helped with morale. Luckily, newer CSA ships had observation lounges. The Unity, however, was nowhere near new, and would never have an observation lounge.

Serena looked disappointed and moved down the corridor, not heading in any particular direction. She couldn't go to her own room, it made her feel too homesick and she was already feeling badly enough that way as it was. Her head hurt, she could feel a headache coming on strong. Why didn't she know this stuff already? She'd been in the Navy once, surely that would have been part of the training at some point.
She didn't even bother to see if Celdor was following her or not. And it was very unlike her to not use her manners. She put her hand to her head and slumped against the corridor wall...

There was a flash of golden light and a warm, comforting feeling overcame Serena. Celdor had a hand still extended.
"Whatever ails you, a Healing should fix it. Do you feel any better, Miss?"

~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena instantly felt better and lighter. Even her homesickness for the moment seemed to be cured. She pushed herself off the wall until she was standing and looked anew at Celdor.
"I know who you are but I've been so rude! I'm terribly sorry. My name is Serena Fayne. My brothers and I have idolised you since we first heard the stories...Oh, look at me I'm rambling."

Celdor bowed ever so slightly at the waist.
"Its is a pleasure, Miss Fayne. I am Legion-Commander Celdor Dounoulis, of the Legion of Hunters. I'm simply passing through."
He yawned. He'd been doing so much healing that he'd grown tired.
"You wouldn't happen to have coffee, would you?"

~~Serena Fayne~~ This guy sure was oblivious. Serena wondered how he'd ever gotten so far in life.
"Umm, yes of course we do. There's an urn on a table in the mess hall for the crew to help themselves. I'm sure I can get it for you though."
Serena lead the way back to the mess hall.

He followed behind a little ways back, cape flaring behind him. He could feel the drain on his energy. He knew he shouldn't have gone overboard, but he tended to get that way around the injured.

Lord Redtail Rathan I like the cape flares... ~~Serena Fayne~~ Serena walked into the mess hall and across to the table laden with cups, sugar, milk and a giant urn. She filled two cups with the dark liquid putting milk and sugar in her own. She looked over at Celdor, wondering how he liked it, wanting to get it right first go. She added three sugars and took it over to one of the tables, forcing him to sit opposite her.
"I'm afraid I don't have any of the hard stuff to add to it."
She pushed it across to him and took her own cup in both her hands.

"That's fine. I don't drink."
He took a sip and his eyes closed as the coffee entered his system, rejuvenating him.
"One of the greatest things about discovering the Multiverse, is the coffee. It rejuvenates the strength a Paladin loses when he uses his spells and abilities."
When he had coffee, he opened up more, as he was more awake and refreshed.

He downed his coffee.
"Aside from the standard? Just my eyes."
His milky white, almost pupil-less eyes started right at her.
"I can see your aura. And that of everyone around us. Some people unused to Hunters find it unnerving, but I find that the benefits outweigh the negative."
