 Jamie yawned sleepily, if this kid wasn't gonna reply any faster, she would fall asleep. She pulled down the sleeping mask onto her eyes and waited further for his response. She wasn't really sleeping, but her eyes were currently closed as if she was. She had heard the rustling of him moving, and pulled up one side of the sleeping mask to see him, he was curled up on himself once again, frowning from the sight, she sighed in a slightly worried tone. He had then replied quite slowly, listening closely to the reply. Her frown curled down. So he was home-schooled...seemed to not really socialize with anyone; poor kid. Noticing the clenched fist, she raised an eyebrow at it and it was soon hooked onto his arm. Jamie sat up as the sleeping mask fell to her neck, she sighed lightly and crossed her arms with closed eyes, obviously thinking of the numerous ways she could cheer up this sulky kid. Before an idea hit her head, and if there was, a light bulb would light up by her head. She looked at the boy with confidence. "Well then, don't be too sappy kid! I'll be your friend if you want!" She said, patting his back happily. However, once he spoke out his name, her eyes widened by an inch. Axel L.H. Bellwether? that was the name of her new Royal...Wait shh...this kid could've been her Royal, she was sure it was her Royal! She burst out of realization and quickly made her way in front of the boy. She placed both her hands on his shoulders and toothily grinned. "I should've said so sooner! My full name's Jamie G. Locke, and if i'm correct, i'll be your new Knight!" She said with her gray eyes glistening as the tints of silver in it had shone brightly from the sun. However, the happy attitude wore off as her hair shadowed over her eyes, looking down and removing her hand off Axel's shoulders. "Forget it..." She quietly said, as her happy grin faded off her face. She stood up and stayed silent for the few minutes, before a happier smile had crossed her features. She pulled out a hand for him to take. "Forget it, we should be friends!" She suggested as she smiled toothily.

✎ Axel blinked as the girl, previously named Jamie, seemed to be very confident speaking to him. He smiled, nodding gently at her words and her hand on his back. "Yeah.. that would be nice-?" He seemed to stop abruptly when her expression changed to one of surprise. Blinking, she seemed joyous about something. Listening to her and watching her display of excitement, he was mildly confused for a few seconds. He watched her before she seemed to sadden, wondering what had happened. Then his head clicked into several working gears. A knight! That's right! But, why was she so sad about it? When she suggested they should be friends, he quickly faced her, taking off his bag and shuffling through it. He soon pulled out a letter saying that she was going to be his knight. "No, no, why don't you want to be my knight...? I wouldn't mind you as my knight..." He said, being the one to ask questions now. Was she worried about something? That realization caused him to worry. Did she not want to be his knight? Was he troubling her? He hoped not.

Jamie's eyes flickered confidently. Placing her hand on her hips as she looked at him. "No, no, no." She said, waving a finger to show that he was getting the wrong idea. "It's not that i don't wanna be your Knight, i'd gladly be your Knight kid, but wouldn't it be better if we were awesome and great friends too?!" She asked once again. Now her being the one asking the questions...maybe. Plopping back down, but instead opposite of him, she slipped the letter out of his hands and had read the words on it, skimming the letter quickly as her eyes darted from left to right and down. She continued this course of action for the few minutes before handing it back to her new Royal. "Pfft, what a dense kid..." She thought to herself, but wasn't she even more dense? Don't understand this logic of hers. She laid her elbow on her leg and rested her chin in between her thumb and index finger. Oh giddy, think of all the great adventures she could be on with her new Royal...She just hoped that she wouldn't annoy him or anything...she was most famous for that. But passed the thought quickly as she dozed off into space, just slightly drooling...

✎ Axel blinked, hearing her explanation and tilted his head as she asked him the same thing over. "Yeah.. But what would be the difference?" He asked, not sure what was the meaning of a Knight entirely. He could have, for all he knew, need a knight, but he wasn't sure what a knight was to do and what were there purpose to a Royal. But, if it's any different, then he'll just go with the one she was more comfortable with. Allowing her to take the paper from his hands, he smiled, watching her look it over before she gave it back and spaced out. He blinked, tilting his head and glanced behind him and towards the way she was staring. He wondered what was wrong and waved his hand in front of her face. "Uh.. Jamie?" He asked, starting to get concerned as she started to drool a little. Hopefully she didn't go brain dead..
