Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year
Victor stopped searching through teh rubble when he head Alexandria's voice speak out in response to what Ignazio had said. She sounded just fine and that brought a sigh of relief. Alexandria appeared and began to step over the debris to where they were. She looked happy and not at all shaken from the bout. She told Victor not to sound so worried. Victor looked her over and she looked rather intact, except for a few scratches and cuts. How did she manage to avoid so many arrows, even when she couldn't see where they came from. Alexandria kept the mood light and Victor could hear Ignazio's defensive comments come through. He turned to face the exorcist to hear him out. Ignazio spoke about his tactics and his Qi reserve, letting him know that he had more Qi than Victor which he didn't question but the fact that he trained his body to work well beyond most people's limits, it didn't bother him to not to rely on his Fatal Verses. Victor looked the aria over thoughtfully. Who is he collecting data for? Are we some sort of experiment? He must see us as a threat, that explains why he came to see me at the bridge. Victor glanced up at the clocktower and saw that the individual who had been there was now gone. His serious expression disappeared as he put his gloved hand behind his head and scratched. "If you wanted to spar, all you had to do was say so, Ignazio. I hope we don't have to clean up this mess." Victor said lightheartedly. Even with such menacing fires and flying debris, Victor was unburned and unscathed in exception to a few scratches sustained from rolling around. Looking down to his clothes, they were soaked in his sweat and he lifted them off his chest just slightly. "I think I'll go take a shower." Victor said before he slipped out a cigarette from inside his top. As he passed by a slightly burning floorboard, he passed his cigarette over it and lit it. "Thanks for the work out. Catch you guys later." Victor said as he walked away, waving to them with his free hand. His expression changed back into a neutral frown, taking a drag from his cigarette as he made his way across the training field and into the gymnasium. Victor needed some good time alone.

While the fight continued moving forwards, something had changed about the battle, and within moments, the intense heat had begun to die down. Since the temperature was gradually returning to normal, he was able to wipe the last bits of his sweat from his brow before looking back to the fight. "It seems as though a familiar has been called back to where it came from. However, one still remains.." His thoughts were interrupted, when arrows fell towards a building like rainfall from a group of clouds. The sounds of wood being broken apart and destroyed filled the area, and as it did, a large cloud of smoke lifted towards the sky. A girl's name had been shouted repeatedly, and logic only served to say that the "Alexandria" being called to was the girl who had been fighting the other familiar. Soon enough, the shouting had stopped and the final familiar disappeared. Some of the smoke remained from its impact with what he assumed was a large amount of wood, but everything had quieted down and upon furhter view, the area seemed to be that of a wasteland. While on a normal day he would have gone over to inspect what had happened, he did not want to unintentionally provoke a fight between whomever remained in the area. The male who had been fighting had moved in the direction of the gymnasium, and seeing as things had stopped, he let out a soft yawn before stretching his arms out. "See! We missed all the fun!" exclaimed Celebron as the Cat Sidhe jumped back onto Lloyd's shoulder. "Next time, I promise." Once he was sure his familiar was secure, he turned from the area and began heading to another part of the school itself.
Ignazio’s words were fairly harsh- he critiqued her choice of attire not only on the sense of fashion but functionality. As if she had anticipated a fight of this caliber to occur. She had mainly worn it for warmth of layers rather than functionality in battle. Alexandria shrugged, turning away from him as he continued to speak. ‘Functionally- no, a hakama is better for something like kendo or going to things like festivals. However it was beneficial against Garuda- funnily enough.’ She thought to herself, it was no use explaining to him that the purpose of Garuda’s attacks were made easier to read because of the length of the garment- how there was excess fabric that would be torn instead of leaving her naked to try and make it back to the dormitory. She quietly listened as he lectured Victor in a similar fashion, how he was lucky to be whole still. Alexandria turned and scanned Victor for any wounds- he, not unlike herself only seemed to garner flesh wounds. Nothing too serious to need immediate medical attention. Ignazio then pulled the hair from in front of his eyes before taunting them- mostly Victor because of how distraught he had seemed before she appeared. Throwing in the twist about her ‘need of a man to come save her’. It stung a bit- reminded of her father’s death and how she couldn't protect him.. Alexandria couldn't save him nor the others. The memory of devil’s grin as it turned to kill the others was still something of a horror to her. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh, opening them once more before she spoke to Ignazio,”Don’t act so high and mighty; you lost control of them” Alexandria said with a giggle, she referred to Garuda. Although unknown to her the fiery apparition had as well. Even if only briefly. Victor ignored Ignazio’s comments, stating he was off to shower- probably not a bad idea since he was covered in sweat. He lit his cigarette on his way to the gym- he didn't’t seem to want to be disturbed by anyone else for a while.”Pfiati~”Alexandria called out as she made her way over the rubble towards the nearest exit. She hopped Victor was right and they wouldn't be responsible for somehow cleaning up this mess.
Reaching the open ground she looked about the training grounds around her- seemed like between the five of them they’d manage to rip out a hell of a lot of concrete- nearly destroy the small warehouse as well as the bleachers around the grounds- in addition to putting a fairly large hole in the gymnasium dojo. ‘I suppose they may think about expanding that small room now..’ Alexandria thought with a smile. She made her way towards the steps. Alexandria was headed back towards her dorm, it was probably getting pretty late. And she too was feeling another shower.

As the others left Ignazio stood out in the cold and looked up to the sky. ”I didn’t lose control, it’s just part of the contract we have. If I did lose control they both would have turned on me. But clearly these idiots don’t know a thing about being a Tamer, all they know is the putrid odor of destruction without the sweet aroma of elegance.” he said as he started to walk towards the large hole created by Innocentius in the gym wall. Pushing off the ground he used his Qi to allow him to leap off the particles in the air making it seem as if he could walk on the wind itself. Taking the chance to make a frontwards flip inside the hole, he found most of the Pages and the few Exwires other than himself, Victor, and Alexandria recovering from the heat and flames. Ignazio gave a slight smile before walking through the chard room. ”Thank you everyone for surviving, I guess I managed to mess up a little bit this time. I’ll be sure to do better. Sorry if any of you were injured in this attack. If you need emergency medical treatment, please send me the bill and I’ll cover it.” he said as he walk off with his kind princely smile on his face heading back to his building. Or at least that was his plan currently. Recovering from the excessive Qi usage could take a little time, so the fresh air walk might do him some good.
• The pink-haired student had made herself comfortable in the shade of a tree outside the gymnasium. Her perch against the smooth bark and the green mound allowed a raised view from which she could peer down over the outside track field. The soil was soft under weight, and the grass gentle when her hands brushed it as she arround herself and her cardigan to rest arround her, keeping the warmth it offered. It was still morning, the skies clear and the wind only an occaisonal caress, but the sun wasn't as strong as Joushi may have preferred, thus the soft cardigan of pastel green dyed wool. The fabric was thick and plush, allowing the Dragoon to bury her fingers into the material and feel an almost instant build up of heat as it caught and held her own thermal energy. Her hands were not the only thing that would occaisonally bury itself into the cardigan. As Joushi was busying herself in the small pile of books set carefully to one side, kept off the soil by her own messenger style bag, a large muffler of fur rested in the nest of Joushi's crossed legs. Occaisonally the fluff would shift, nothing more than a slight ruffle, twitch, or shuffle. Half of it was obscured by Joushi's notebook, the Dragoon writing down the occaisonal note from the open library book resting on one knee.
"Hmm?" Joushi hummed, green eyes peering down at the red fur that suddenly began stretching, a noise like a rough gurgle sounding from the ball before a narrowly-pointed head popped out. Blue eyes peered sleepily up at its owner, a stare-off occuring for a few seconds before the fox yawned, mouth stretching wide and white teeth gleaming as the sun caught saliva. Lazily the fox rolled its head back, peering out over the field behind it. It was empty, excluding the few birds. Students were still only just starting to arrive, at the school but Joushi appeared to be the only so far to have decided to relax out in the morning sun at the track field. Joushi layed down her pencil, the attached charm of a small strawberry milk box clinking gently on the paper. With a pencil to occupy it, Joushi's hand moved to gently scratch the fox's chin with blunt, manicured nails. "Go have a run, Kit." Joushi spoke. "While you still can." The fox purred back a rough response, too content with the attention it was currently receiving to move. Joushi smiled, green eyes shinning, before retracting her hand. "Go on, now." She coaxed, watching the fox slither out of her lap. "Run a few laps." Kit's head was was the first to slide from Joushi's legs, followed by its front legs, torso, back paws and then the long train of its silky red tail. The white tip gleamed bright in the sun, the fur flaring briefly as the fox shook itself from nose to tip. Joushi didn't watch it stretch, turning back to her notes.
⭐⭐⭐
Joushi was onto the next library book by the time the fox had returned to his side. His notebook was resting on the grass, the pastel pink mechanical pencil tucked behind one ear, a slightly darker shade in hair falling in bangs to obscure most of it. The charm dangled at the back of Joushi's head, its silver chain hidden completely from the sun. Joushi heard the fox rummaging and rolling around in the taller tufts of grass and bushes behind him, hidden from sight, for the most part.
Joushi's back was against the bark of the tree, knees pulled and together, revealing the pale blue of the Dragoon's jeans to the sunlight. The cardigan was spilled around him, its large size meaning one shoulder was almost completely revealed as it cascaded in all its soft glory from his thin frame. Joushi's face was blank, absorbed as she was in the book held by both hands, its spine resting in the gap between the round caps of her knees. The cover was plain, brown with black embossed writing to state the title, although most was hidden behind pale fingers and silver rings. Joushi appeared to be completely absorbed.

• Joushi sat on the ground beneath a young, green birch. The shade it's spritely branches cast down were angled by the morning sun to only offer protection to Joushi's hips and higher. With the Dragoon's legs tucked up yo support the book, the sun could only lap lazily at the pink-haired student's feet and calves. Expensive white shoes were decorated with pink laces, white stars lining the face, and a pastel blue wing was attatched by the lace holes to each shoe, flaring out slightly, although no larger than the studen't heel and apparently made of leather. The pale, faded blue jeans Joushi wore were tight, fitting the long-legged teen as though perfectly made for those very limbs. What creamy skin that could be seen was Joushi's face and hands, along with the long column of neck and collarbones revealed by the low collar of a beige shirt. The thick fabric of the large cardigan ensured its sleeves reached down to the fingers of the pastel-orientated individual. Even the messenger bag - coded in blue and creams - matched the outfit. However it was buried under well-thumbed tomes. A breeze swayed over the track field, ruffling the leaves and allowing more sun to briefly touch Joushi's legs. Lifting a hand, Joushi laced thin fingers into pink hair, the short cut being playfully pushed into green eyes. An angled fringe remained almost undisturbed and silver rings, adorning three fingers of the right hand, would reflect the light as soon as the sun pierced through the leaves.
A gentle chime sounded from Joushi's left. Green eyes remained on the book, right hand reaching down to take purchase on its worn cover so the left could delve into the deep pocket the jingle was eminating from. A white phone was excavated, its back protected in a case decorated in plastic swirls like cream, with a perfect scoop of strawberry ice cream near the top, sprinkles decorating the entire art piece. From the base of the phone a few charms clinked together. Minitures of Japanese food and Eastern sweets and cake slices in their glossy, painted glory. Finally looking away from the book, Joushi gazed at the name displayed on the screen, the jaunty tune being silenced at the press of a thumb. Holding the phone so the charms wouldn't clink together into the Dragoon's face, Joushi spoke.
"Morning, Miss." Joushi answered, green eyes lowered. The Boss' eldest daughter had called - a call Joushi could never, would never, ignore.
"Jou," She spoke. "Have our belongings arrived safely?" She inquired, tone calm, but Joushi could sense she was being rushed. Always prim and proper, the eldest usually asked after Joushi's health and location before jumping into business.
"All accounted for and delivered under my care. Shall I greet you at the gate when you arrive?" Joushi asked. With one hand the open book was closed and returned to its kin, Joushi begining to pack up the books and pens. The tone of the call indicated the offer would be declined, however Joushi never assumed anything.
"No, Jou, that isn't necessary. Thank you though." She added after a brief pause. "We'll see you this evening at dinner. And thank you for texting our room numbers." Joushi nodded, face calm as ever.
"Of course, Miss. Until then." Joushi heard the connection die soon after. It had become a habit, born of the Italian's own whim, to never be the one to hang up a call first. Waiting until the line is truly dead in case there would be a noise in the background to signal not all was well. It had paid off very rarely, but those rare times were enough to drive this somewhat paranoid behaviour. Pulling the phone from one ear, Joushi checked the screen to find there were three missed text messages. Fluffy, warm cardigans be damned. Although if anyone important or not in the phone's contact list texted the device had been set to ring. Opening the inbox screen, Joushi opened the later of the three.
Received: 7:02am From: Mum Tame a Pegasus.
Interesting. But not exactly the most discrete of creatures to have under one's care. Still, she means well, Joushi mused. Having only Kit as a companion could be seen as careless, as taking on more risk that may be mitigated by having more allies. It wouldn't be long before Joushi's mother would push the issue further, the teen already aware of word being spreed to Boss Motisi and Joushi's own father that the young adult could entice more demonic allies. It was something to keep an eye and ear out for. Mind set, Joushi opened the next message.
Received: 7:08am From: J Hailey's late so we won't be in until evening.
Hailey and J were something akin to friends to Joushi. They weren't students to True Cross Academy, instead running a small business in town. The shop supplied Joushi with various items, including snacks and the cherry flavoured milk Kit so adored. They also acted as messengers, during certain times. Joushi scrolled to the next message.
Received: 7:08am From: J Bring Kit.
Joushi binked, wondering to what purpose J wanted Joushi to bring the fox down to the store. Joushi always had Kit nearby, although the Dragoon couldn't ever recall telling the store holders that... Closing the screen and pocketing the phone, Joushi returned to reading. Recalling the page number, Joushi was able to continue exactly where it was left off; Most of those who are Kin of Satan...
⭐⭐⭐
Lord Amaimon and his kin can control far many more demonic and mortal realm creatures than any other Lord, including creatures that also answer the call of other kin. He was the First Son, and known as the Lord of Creation, in some references... Joushi mused, green eyes occaisonally flickering down to an open notebook. Legible notes in clean handwriting danced across the page, broken up every so often by the injection of a highlighter marking borders to segment information into groups. Going through the written notes Joushi found a small reminded to look up what a 'Dökkálfr' was. Being required to know how to speak, read, and write fluently in Italian, Japanese, the occaisonal English phrase, and sprinkle in some European dialects, often left Joushi relying on several books to explain any possible discrepancies. Eyes ran along the spines of the books resting safely on the messenger styled bag, thier covers and contents protected by the material from the earth below. Spotting one that would hold possible answers, Joushi carefully slid it out from the small stack, realigning the left behind texts so they wouldn't tumble, and opened to the index.
Middle and index fingers paired, Joushi lightly ran them down the length of the index, under section 'D', keeping them hovered above the paper so as not to leave a print or mar behind. Such care was not needed, given Joushi's clean pressence, but not leaving behind a trace was a more desirable outcome. Dökkálfr, Joushi found, was located on page 58. Flipping the book open to closer to the front, Joushi quickly moved to the designated page, opening it to a diagram of a plant-like creature. Reading on the book gave a brief description of the history and misconception of the word by unknowing, mortal, men. Used to refer to 'dark elves,' a Dökkálfr is actually a demon capable of possessing, cursing, and draining the life source of mortals, often in the disguise of a species of botony. There have been recorded cases of the demons tricking or coercing humans into making a deal with them. Upon revealing themselves, their form is often larger than a full grown man, able to call aid from the very roots and earth in which it had planted itself. It was not to be confused with 'Greenmen,' demons also in answering to Amaimon.
"Greenmen..." Joushi mouthed the name silently, pale pink lips barely moving as fingers carefully turned the pages to where the creature was catalogued. Greenmen, as it turned out, were not known as particularly harmful creatures. Similar to Snowmen in that and many other regards. Both inhabited clay golums, although Greenmen covered themselves in plants, while Snowmen, perhaps rather obviously, lived in colder regions and thus preferred the use of snow as their cover. Would a Greenman or a Dökkálfr make for helpful allies? Greenmen were able to summon healing property fruits and herbs, although Dökkálfr would make for an offensive slly, both able to summon defensive root-based shields. The book and Joushi's eyes closed at the same time, thoughts assessing what weaknesses needed to be overcome with the aid of Demon kin. Having just Kit to care for... but to have more... Joushi was only able to form a bond with Kit because of finding the little thing with an empty belly. Joushi doubted such luck would occur once again, and simply tricking the creatures into a bond would never last - it was too unreliable. No, the Beast Charmer was thinking far too deeply on this matter. When the time arises, Joushi will know, and a contract will be made, or it will not. Such as it will be, and so Joushi's mind is set at ease.

Mornings were always the better time of day, at least in the opinion of a demonic canine. It, in simple terms, meant quiet. Peace all around. Nothing but the sound of the wind blowing past large upright ears. Still early in the day not many if any, students would be around. So no noise polluters. Reznya would have a little time of piece to herself. Having paced herself around the school she came towards the training grounds. Better part of the day this area was seen as nothing but your typical school gymnasium. However to a special select group it was far more. Lucky for Reznya herself she was invisible to the mass. Nothing but a rumor told to scare. Having made her way to this location the large dual shaded canine would take some time to stay and relax. Most notably, in the pool area. Though it was morning and a cool gentle breeze was blowing through it was still hot for the furred beast. The glaring morning sun, it's rays burning down upon the ground and all within it's sight. This included the wondering Reznya. Thus so came to a part of the school that was normally cool. Anywhere where large enough bodies of water were were generally colder due to the water itself. Plus, because of the heat the demonic canine felt she could use a drink. Yes, it was chlorine water. But water all the same. This not so ordinary pooch could eat or drink just about anything. Which is what she ended up doing.
With four steady legs at an equally steady pace the demonic canine approached the edge of the pool where the calm waters were stationed. However due to the railing protecting it she could only access through limited areas. Her body was just to large to simply go or reach through the bars of railing. So she would have to access the source that would quench her thirst through the step ladder section that was cut out. Once in place she leaned her fore legs down some to allow her out stretched neck to fall forward. Once out stretched enough her nose would just barely touch the surface. Only her tongue would make contact with the liquid. The sound of slurping echoed through the pool area and without any other sound to cancel it out it was loud enough.
With her full of the funny tasting but equally satisfying drink, Reznya ventured out. With no one around not a soul would no what had happened. No trace of a demon drinking pool water. No longer thirsty Reznya moved to exit the pool area. Outside the gymnasium Reznya relocated herself ever so slowly and lazily to the stairs which lead to the school itself. Still being so early there wasn't much for the canine to do but straggle about. Climbing to the top of the stairs the large body of the canine dropped. The sound her body made when hitting the ground was just crackling. Sounded more painful then it was. However Reznya didn't much care. The cement of the stairs was cool and refreshing. Thus the demonic canine outstretched her body, all four legs reaching out with a crack of stiff bones. The blackened cranium shone bright yellow, visible for a good distance out towards the fields, her head resting just at the step of the stairs. For the good time of a few hours Reznya could just lay and relax. Remain a bit peaceful. All until the time the children decide to come along.

• Pink strands of hair had fallen down in a silk wave to the side of Joushi's face, obscuring parts of the surrounding field in pastel. The Dragoon was still reading, head bowed slightly and face neutral as green eyes roamed the revealed pages beneath pale fingers. The book was held against the back of propped-up knees, allowing partial view out over the grounds by meerly peering over the cover. It was in such a position that a black nose nuzzled Joushi's elbow with a gentle warning. Green eyes flickered to the fox, remaining perfectly natural, body apparently at ease with the world. Such a skill, when warned of a possible threat, kept Joushi under the cover of ignorence while assessing the situation. However the red fox could only continue to nuzzle, big blue eyes scanning the gym building across the field, standing strong and tall before the pair of them. Kit's tail swayed softly behind it, black claws pawing at the ground to show its discomfort, ready to leap and pounce. However its eyes showed it did not know where to leap or pounce, only that there was something in the air. Large ears flickered, eventually catching noise - a blunt thud - in the direction of the outside staircase, partially obscured by a spritely green tree. The noise was enough to send the fox still, body pressed low to the ground, leg muscles tensed as claws found purchase in the soft soil. Joushi placed a bookmark in the open text book before closing it and packing up the tomes carefully into a blue and beige messenger bag.
The leather material of the bag was soft and plaint under Joushi's hands, but strong enough to hold the various dusty books. Joushi slid the pink mechanical pencil into a band of elastic sewn inside the main pocket of the bag before replacing the used highlighters into a fluffy, cocolate-coloured fabric pencil case. The case finally finding a safe place in the bag as well, Joushi stood and began gently, and carefully, dusting off the soil from the bag and the green wool cardigan and pale blue jeans the Dragoon wore. All of these actions were natural and without any sense of urgency or hesitation. It simply appeared like Joushi was packing up to go elsewhere. Clean and packed, Joushi began heading towards the gymnasium's entrance to the pool, green eyes gazing lazily ahead while the Dragoon's senses stayed alert. The fox had run off back into the bush, skulking around the perimeter of the outside track field and keeping to the darkest shadows to hide its bright coat. Eyes would occaisonally flicker out from the shadows, keeping check on its human partner making its way directly across the field. The pale tones of Joushi's clothing matched the warm season, but also caused the human to somewhat stand out while walking across the dark , vibrant green of the grass. But Joushi appeared uncaring, or even unaware of the eye-catching status, apparently too pre-occupied with another goal.
As Joushi grew near the pool entrance, and thus near the napping Demon, the Italian born Dragoon felt the fine hairs along a slender neck rise. There was a presence on the stairs, just as the kit had warned. And it felt like a strong one at that. Strong enough that Joushi could not even conceal the aura of Demon-born power flowing through the half-demon's veins. Anyone with the skills of an Exwire or lower would not have been able to sense the energy in Joushi. Just as any Demon ranked at C or lower could not sense it. This Demon, some feet away to the Dragoon's right, was strong, yes, but it did not bother hiding its presence - perhaps, even, it had simply bothered not to learn how. A Demon of brute force, then? Perhaps. But Joushi had no intention of antaganising the creature.
Joushi had never paused or faltered in the treck across the field to the pool doors. In fact the Dragoon simply appeared completely unaware of what was napping over on the staircase some feet away. With a small yawn, Joushi opened the doors, one hand reaching up to brush at the pink bangs obscuring Joushi's forehead as the boggy air of the heated pools sweeped out in a swampy rush, clinging to the Dragoon's skin and already invading and weighing down the soft cardigan. Joushi crossed the threshold and let the door shut itself by its own weight, carefully walking across the damp floors to the changing rooms. On the other side of the building a small bird darted in through an open window, landing on a step ladder that lead into the pool. Ignoring the bird for now, Joushi entered the changing rooms, finding an already locked locker before imputing the combination to retrieve a second bag, only to replace it with the leather blue and beige one. Closing the door, Joushi turned and began to get undressed...
⭐⭐⭐
The sounds of splashing water bounced and danced around the empty pool hall. Every few minutes it would grow quiet as the cause delved deeper into the water, rotating a slender body with graceful movements before pushing off the pool's wall and continue the freestyle swim down the third lane. Tinted, beige goggles hid the eyes of the swimmer while the hair was tucked securely in a light blue cap. Long limbs sliced through the water, slender muscles wraped evenly and tightly under lightly tanned skin. It all hinted at the control and grace the swimmer commanded in, and outside of, the pool. Perched atop one of the many raillings that surrounded the pool was a small brown bird. It occaisonally hopped side to side, wings spread out to hold its balance on the slippery metal. Beady black eyes watched the human swim with flickering attention, its head twitching and turning to take in the surroundings from a few seconds to up to a minute, tiny body tittering and tuttering as it moved. Eventually the sounds of water ceased, instead making way for the small, tightly controlled breaths of air from the human now floating, face up, in the water, apparently having earned a work-out from the multiple laps. Even while gulping in air, Joushi retained a controlled grace. Moving upright, Joushi gently swam over to the nearest step ladder to leave the pool. Heavy rivulets of water cascaded down a slender neck and deceptively flat chest, finding well-defined valleys in the Dragoon's abs to hasten their speed before becoming lost in the swimware. A hand reached up, grabbing the goggles to settle them upon the forehead instead. The hand then moved down, carefully rubbing at a small knot that had formed in base of the side of Joushi's neck. Greens eyes slid shut, breathing calm, as two fingers gently moved and massaged the knot away. Firm rotations quickly worked the muscles into releasing, earning a small sigh of contentment and green eyes casually opening once more. Turning, Joushi quietly walked down the length of the pool, wet feet moving quietly along the solid ground, approaching the diving platforms.
Once again Joushi approached and stepped up to the platform for lane three. Pausing only to return the goggles to their proper position, Joushi stood up onto the platform, toes of one foot curling around the edge hile the other found perch on the back of pad, knees bent low and body bending so slender fingers could wrap themselves firmly around pad. A slow, steadying breath, muscles shifting as the stance was minutely changed into a stronger pose. All was still within the muggy pool hall. At an imagined whistle Joushi launched, body pushing and pulling itself tight into a spear, piercing the waters with a clean dive. The sounds of water dancing off of the walls took over once again.

• The small brown bird was sent fluttering, twittering a melodic tone in warning to the slender figure swimming the length of the large pool. The moment the bird's musical notes reached Joushi's ears, the Dragoon dived deeper into the water, turning and looking up to the cieling to see the bord circle above three times before shooting off towards the changing room doors. The small brown bird pulsed with energy as it initiated a transformation in mid air. Its wing span grew to around ten times as it previously was. Huge talons sprouted from its belly, sharp and black, matching the piercing, hooked beak that morphed from its head. The eagle dived for the changing room door, slipping through the open passage and calling a war cry as it thudded against its prey. The sounds of further war cries mutated, turning from avian and into something far more animalistic and... primal. Thuds of solid mass colliding with the hollow metal lockers resounded from behind the shut door, filling the air in the pool hall.
After seeing the bird transform in mid-air, Joushi began swimming to the nearest step ladder. The Dragoon removed the goggles from green eyes before carefully leaning up and peeking around the area before finally pulling completely free of the wate's grip. Body crouched low, Joushi quickly made way over to the Academy gym bag that held Joushi's side arm; an Italian made Mateba semi-automatic revolver. Opening the bag with one hand, Joushi quickly dried the other on anearby towel, ensuring grip on the weapon would not be suceptable to slippery accidents otherwise. Reaching into the bag, Joushi's body crouched low, green eyes darting about,to investigate the surroundings and make sure nothing else sneaks up on the Beast Charmer, Joushi's hand quickly found the familiar feel of metal, fingers wrapping around the weapon with calm assurance. Pulling the revolver out, Joushi checked it was loaded before also retrieving the towel, draping it around slender shoulders before quietly approaching the racket occuring within the changing rooms.
On wet feet Joushi was forced to stay slow and steady, walking on rolling steps so the water would not make loud slapping sounds. A chill ran down the wet, naked skin. The heated water now turning quickly cool and draining the natural body warmth Joushi admitted. Upon reaching the door Joushi quickly stepped to the side, listening for a moment to guage how far in the raukus was currently bassed. It had all but stopped, by the sounds being admitted within. Nothing more than strangled gasps and squeeks, along with the occaisonal warning of a beastial growl. Pushing the door open enough for a single green eye to peer in, Joushi was able to discern a wriggling mass of flesh, no bigger than a small, if rather chubby and wrinkly, dog under the great paw of a mountain lion. Gun still raised, Joushi entered the room, green eyes sweeping the area and locating the multiple forms of unconscious and dead remains of several goblins. Joushi's locker door was also partially open, although, when moving in to check the security of the contents, nothing seemed to have been touched. Pulling the bag forward, Joushi counted off the books and contents, along with the pencil case and phone. With a small nod, Joushi stood and walked over to the squalling goblin still trapped under the lion's paw. It pounded its chubby fists against the muscle-bound claws, beady eyes squeezed shut in hopeless mourning.
Joushi knelt by its side, giving one side of its face a light smack with the back of a damp hand. The contact shocked the goblin into silence, looking up at Joushi with incredulity. The Dragoon held up a single finger, body posture and the stern look on the usual calm features demanding attention.
"My apologies for your friends." Joushi began, voice slow and steady. "But my items are valuable and vital to my continued survival. I'd appreciate you and your kin leaving my belongings be." The Beast Charmer waited to make sure the goblin understood the gist of what was being said, green eyes steady and unblinking. When the goblin gave a small nod Joushi made a signal for the lion to release the quarry. Both watched the stubby thing run for its life, dissapearing out the door and leaving its kin behind. Joushi stood and rubbed another knot out of the base of a lightly tanned neck briefly before turning and giving a firm rub of the lion's right ear. A great purr immediately filled the air of the locker room, huge golden eyes closed in contentment while the massive, solid head turned into the welcomed hand, seeking more of that affectionate scratching. "Good girl," Joushi praised, a neutral look upong the Beast Charmer's features. The purring increased, at risk at causing the lockers to shake from the volume and resonence. "I need to take you out hunting properly, so we learn to be more subtle about our attack. Okay?" He questioned. The lion gave no motion of acceptance or disagreement, just happy to have that place behind its right ear scratched in just that right way~
The large ears twitched, and a head spun around, golden eyes wide, pupils open wide, almost completely eclipsing the gold iris. Head low, the mountain lion softly prowling forward, curiosity encompassing its entire body and fueling its movements. Gun still in hand, Joushi silently followed, steps slow and rolling back from the toes. The lion's solid maw was close to the ground, sniffing the cement and catching a scent that had excitement thrill and dance up its spine. The lion surged forward happily, following the scents to and fro across the floor, claws clicking in mimicry of his joy on the hard cement. It's great bulk weaved around benches until finally reaching a wall of lockers, the huge feline lazily stretching its heavy upper body up until its paws reached the top of the metal shelves, its weight causing creaks and groans, announcing their threat to buckle and bruise under the weight. The lion sniffed and pawed gently, trying to get higher without pushing any more of its weight onto the metal. Following the golden gaze Joushi saw the great cat's attention was one a wall vent embeded just above the top of the lockers, the gratting devoid of dust despite being in such an inconvenient location for regular cleaning. Could this be the route of how the goblins got about? They could be quite sneaky, Joushi had read, and loved getting into mischief. The lion looked backwards, its huge head bending back with some playful air. Joushi raised an eyebrow.
"Shall we investigate?" The lion purred, tail sweeping excitedly in response. "Alright." Joushi placed the safety back onto the revolver before holding it out to the lion. Gently, huge, yellowed fangs took hold of the Italian hand gun, gold eyes still watching the human. Joushi stepped around to behind the lion, lifting one foot to test and find purchase on the protuding back hip joint. Hands finding grip by reaching high and taking hold of the lion's front shoulders, Joushi did a small leap up, arms pulling the Dragoon's weight up by the aid of the right foot before locking in a straight position, allowing the other foot to also find placement along the lion's back. The thick fur was soft and pliant under Joushi, it's dry warmth a welcome presence against lightly tanned and still damp skin. Still having a way to go, Joushi once more heaved up, arms pulling down on the mountain lion's shoulders while pulling up a knee to find purchase there as well. The lion made no motion or sound to say it felt any discomfort, simply standing against the lockers with an unshaking stance. Knee in place, Joushi was soon straddling the lion's neck before leaning forward, its head pushing up against the Beast Charmer's chest to watch Joushi reach out and gently test the grate. It pulled off the wall, apparently not screwed on at all, simply resting in place by its on small lips.
Joushi reached a hand down and took the revolver once more while the other hand pulled the grate away completely, allowing light into the dark vent. The lion shifted, its hind legs creeping closer to the lockers and pushing its upper body higher so it could prop its head up on top of the lockers. Black pupils widened, taking in all the light offered by the flourescent lights above to see the shadowed depths. The lion flicked an ear, signalling nothing dangerous could be seen. Still, Joushi reached in with a careful hand, slender fingers not having to delve far before finding something to grab. Dragging it out into the light, Joushi turned it over and revealed it to the light. It was nothing more than a small book, full of cross words, judging by the cover. Dust had settled on it, but streaks on one side indicated something had recently brushed past it. Other stolen goods must be in there, knicked from fellow students by those goblins.

The young Half-Demon made it too the gymnasium. He stopped to look at the simple building known as the Gym, Alaric eyes widen in excitement. "Compare to my home design this is rather simple, but that's what makes it so interesting looking," he said out loud. Without any care for his own belongings he dropped his duffle bag on the grassy ground outside of the Gym and started to explore. Before the he made his way into the building started to exploration outside.
Alaric was actually surprised on how big the outside area of the Gym was, but he was going off comics he has read and they seem pretty small to him. He looked around and didn't see anyone outside, so he started to run. This was his way to stretch his legs after a his travels. He had to sit in a airplane for hours, which he personally hated. Granted he loves to fly since he can grow wings and fly and he thought flying on a airplane would be the same thing, but he realize he gets very sick when on vehicles. "Well I am glad there is a large area to run around in," he said as stop running. He looked around once again, "I guess I should explore the inside before going into the school," he said.
Alaric made his way towards the building. He open the door too see that there was a large amount of equipment; like weight, basketballs, mats, and etc. He was very interested in all the equipment and quite honestly he only knew how to use the weights, he had no idea what a basketball was. So he made his way to the area where the basketballs were stored at and picked one up. At first he tried to squeeze it, but notice it was solid with what he figure was air. Losing slight interest in the item he just threw it the ball behind him, but suddenly heard the bounce noise, he turned around and saw that the ball was bouncing. "I guess that makes since when you put air into something, but what is it for?" he asked himself. He then recall mention of sports that was in his comics and the one that used the ball that bounce was called, basketball. He picked up another ball and started to bounce it around. This small activity to a half demon that never got a chance to leave his own home was extremely fun.
Rogue arrived at the gym after sprinting halfway through the academy grounds to reach his destination , He gathered his self before placing Getsuga on his shoulder to gaze upon the well structured building . " Kinda of plain....I would've thought True Cross would at least have done more with their training facility " He said in confuse tone scratching his head with the cap of of his blade . He had recognized that everything at True Cross Academy was usually crafted in a elegantly manner to compliment the high class structure of the school but the gym was obliviously nothing more than a normal large building... for at least what it appeared to be . Upon his arrival he also noticed multiple students socializing... Some entering the gym and some coming out . Rogue approached the entrance as a student had held the door open for him " Thank you " He would say with a kind smile as he continued through the gymnasium . " Swimming pool.... Sparring Room !!! Cool it looks like grandfather's dojo.... and the main gym area " He said as he reached where most students were gathering and catching up some even sparring on the mats . The inside of the gym seemed to be more advanced than outside leading him to believe maybe its a cover up or it probably gets destroyed often due to students sparring either he didn't care and the design wasn't even a big deal anymore he was overall impressed . Rogue continued walking looking around as he looked towards a student who have been playing basketball by his self , seeing as he was alone and probably new too to the academy also Rogue figured he would greet him " Game of one on one ! " He said calling out smiling at gray/lavender haired boy as he tugged Getsuga onto his shoulder once more .

He started to notice more and more students started to swarm the gymnasium. Even though he was excited about meeting new people, he was feeling slightly nervous, so he stayed to himself and kept on bouncing the ball. He could hear the students chuckling and even sharping their own skills. Suddenly, Alaric heard someone to call out to someone and figure it was him, so he turned his head and notice a boy with white hair. He requested to play him one on one to a game what he assume a game of Basketball. He looked at the ball, "To a game of basketball? If so, then I have to let you know I have no clue how to play this game. I am honestly just bouncing the ball around," he said with a smile. He continued to bounce the ball. "I'm 2nd Year, Alaric Erzengel. Actually I'm completely new, but I was able to skip a year," he said. He wasn't excepting to approach by another student so quickly. However, he was very glad to be able to socialize with another.
• An echoing, hollow sound pierced through the vent, causing Joushie to snap back and away from the open vent, handgun swept down to point its muzzle at the dark opening. The mountain lion, that Joushi was still perched on, a thigh on either side of its thick, muscled neck, leaned back as well, pulling its huge head away from the opening. It was still on its hind legs, front paws still perched on top of the metal lockers that allowed itself and Joushi to reach the high wall opening. The movement caused a creaking sound of metal bruising and thretening to buckle. Another sound resonated from the hole, and green eyes narrowed in thought. The sound... it was distorted but familiar. Big, fluffy ears perched on top of the lion's head flickered before the attatched head leaned back to nuzzle Joushi's chest, signalling safety. Gun lowering, Joushi leaned closer and listened. The sound came a few more times before finally voices flickered through. Basketball, they were talking about, of course it was basketball - this side of the locker room butted against the ball court. That also meant student were starting to flicker into the area. Time to get rid of the lion...
"Clean up the mess." Joushi patted the lion's head, meaning the bodies of unconscious goblins on the changing room floor. The Dragoon slid down the lion's back before quickly returning to an open locker. Joushi stripped out of the swimming outfit, quickly using a towel to brush off any remaining water before getting redressed in normal clothing. Meanwhile the lion was quickly gathering the few goblins around into its huge maw and placing them up on the lockers closest to the open vent. They would wake, if they do wake, and escape back through their tunnels. Joushi was pulling up pale blue jeans when the lion snuck out the changing room door, head peeking out for any other students before launching forward and out the door. It returned quickly, a swimming bag hanging from its jaws to place it nest to Joushi on the wooden bench. "Thank you." Joushi spoke, a hand reaching out to rub the lion's head once more before leaning down to tie up the pink shoelaces, spotted with white stars. The white leather shoes also had a leather accessory in the shape of a wing, attached by the laces threading through four small holes. Joushi carefully aligned them before packing away the rest of the swimming gear to be placed back in the locker while pulling out a white and beige messenger style bag. Turning back to the lion, Joushi instead found a white scarf. With careful fingers Joushi reached down and wrapped it around a slender neck, its fabric as soft, warm, and fluffy as the pale green cardigan slipping off of the Dragoon's shoulders.
With everything packed and put away, Joushi walked out of the changing rooms, heading out into the basketball court as it was the more direct route to where Joushi was intending of going. Heading back to the outside track field did not sound like a golden idea when there was a Demon napping out there... Joushi was walking along the sidelines, heading for the exit on the other side of the court when the Dragoon's senses and the slight shifting of its scarf told green eyes to instead move and check out the male with pale lavender hair. The male was... attractive. But it was a quality that felt familiar to Joushi. Had the two met before? The Dragoon had no recollection. And that aura - weak, faint, but still there enough for Joushi to sense the handsome male to be holding demonic powers. Joushi's own aura had been trained to be concealed from most students that would be at this school. The other male, however, showed no noticble aura and seemed to be the more confident of the two when it came to handling the basketballs.

A shock like feeling went through Alaric, a sense of being watch overcame him. He turned his gaze upon the boy or girl that was standing on the side line. Automatically he thought how pretty this person was. For a split moment he blocked out everything around him. He also had a feeling that he should know this person to some extent, but couldn't put his finger on way. He never once left his homeland, he can remember every person he has met in the past. No, this feeling wasn't a feeling of past encounters, but a feeling that they were suppose to meet. Alaric ponder on about this feeling as he stared at the other student. He took notice that the person who stood before also had an odd color like his own, almost the same exact color. A sigh escape from his pale lips, it was like he exhale all the annoying thoughts out of his mind. He raised his head up high with a joyful smile, with a raise of his hand he greeted the student, "Hello there!" Alaric no longer had the random thoughts of the student in front of him, he know only seem them as a new friend. "Can I ask you question?" he asked. "Are you a boy or a girl?" he asked, before the person could answer yes or no, Alaric, decided to ask his question anyway. He had no consideration to timing or even matter by that fact. Suddenly, he began to realize what he asked was very rude and that if his father was around he would've been disciplined. The thought of his father cause a shiver up his spine. He pushed up his glasses up his nose, "I am very sorry if my question seemed rude. It's just very hard to tell, which gender you are," he said giving an embarrassed smile.
"Relax Alaric" He said in a odd manner for Rogue had miss pronounced his name on accident . " I mean Sheesh how hard can it be ... all you have to do is put the ball in basket or at least that's how I think the game is played " Rogue said shrugging still confused as he pointed his index finger towards the court . This was also his first time playing since being raised in a dojo there wasn't a court.. just constant martial arts , training , and acrobatic training . " I'm Rogue Hisagi by the way , First year ." He said returning the friendly smile as he walked towards the rack to pick up the ball of his own " And what are you some type of genius or something ? how'd you skip a year so fast ? " He said now standing beside Alaric as asked question after question before taking a shot " Here we go " He said shooting the ball with one hand as it bricked of the side of the rim and rolled towards a pretty girl for what he could see " You know her Alaric ? " He said rubbing the back of his head as his cheek filled red with blush .
