I had a thing for the Torque Bow until I understood how cheap it could be lol. But I love the Boltok as well, it's the sidearm I chose for my Gear too.

Advent Sage xTwisted Jester Got myself my own Theron Elite now. I'm looking forward to seeing what your locust character is going to be. He'll definitely be Kantus, not it's just writing the story and figuring out his weapons that'll take effort. Well I went with a Scorcher, Kryll Grenades and a Torque bow.

MORE MEMBERS! biggrin well, I can't speak for the whole guild, but as far as I know, we are currently low on enlisted ranks. I am just maintaining my character rank with my real life career rank, so I will be going Sergeant here soon (I assume our first or second mission will be complete just as I rank up so it'll fit in well enough). I would talk with Illusion first, I only see the issue of everyone wanting to be a high rank, and so that leaves no one to be commanded. I try to balance the two, since I understand we need more enlisted ranks in the RP, and at the same time I am in Officer training so I feel the personal ability to know the capabilities and process of a militaristic leader.

Aw well thats fine, I just went ahead with a private that at one time a high ranking soldier before being depromoted back to private like baird was.

Hey Illusion, did you mean to announce the line up over P.A. instead of a shout? A couple of us are in different locations on base so we wouldn't be able to hear it, from like the weight room

Haha, that's demotion razz but that's a good story. Demotion only comes under dishonorable mistake though, are you sure that you'd be okay with your character having a story like that? If you wanted the benevolent war hero I wouldn't want you to have to change that because we don't have enough room for ranks, I am sure something could be worked out. Then again, you could write it as an incident that you were falsely accused of, or that you made a decision you felt was morally correct despite it's defiance of direct orders and/or general law. Just ideas smile I want you to have the character you want though Another alternative could be to have a high ranking Locust character and low ranked COG, we don't have high ranked Locusts yet, and I'd be willing to place my character under your command, he's a Kantus shadow operative.

I do the same thing with my characters all of the time so that they have depth to them in the progression of the story. Else, most other RPers would already know the story and wouldn't likely bring it up in the story, where as leaving it cryptic opens up the opportunity to experience it in the story later, maybe even taking the characters to a place of your past or what not. It's a much better way to do it, so I commend your laziness for that haha
