Dementia Requiem Asumi Sweetie Drops grinned, she'd been excited about this trip since she'd gotten a glimpse of the waterways on her way into the isle. Everything looked so big and shiny and she just wanted to explore it.
"Thank you." She smiled to the Fairy that greeted them at the dock. He was just too cute! She was bustled along to her quaint room, and it didn't seem to bother her one bit. It was small, but she was happy with it. With any luck, she wouldn't be spending time in there anyways. But what was she going to do? She had no idea. First though, it was time to get on her sunglasses and a nice hat. Go explore the deck first. After a bit of work and a frustrated few tears Lila finally got some answers from her fairy, and had calmed down. She had unpacked her belongings and snatched up a notepad and a newly sharpened pencil which she had tightly clasped in one hand as she started to explore the ship. She stayed relatively close to any banisters cause any time the ship moved she seemed to feel like she might lose her balance. And in one time she did and she knocked into a yellow fauny with pink and blue hair. She clambered for a grasp to regain her balance finding one but without looking wasn't sure if she'd gotten hold of the arm of the fauny or the banister of the ship.

Sweetie Drops blinked, first getting knocked off balance by another pae and then getting her wrist grabbed to pull the other pae back into balance. She had no more a chance to blink than to fall down. Gravity won the battle this time, causing the fauny to fall right on her rump. Ouch.
She winced, wrist now free from her little tumble to the bottom of the floor. "Are you okay?" The fauny asked, cracking an eye to look for whoever it was that had knocked her over. She didn't really know anypo- anypae that was here. "Are you hurt?" She asked, trying to be polite even when she was hurting quite a bit herself.

Being that the pae she had grasped had lost balance as well and tumbled to the floor, Lila went down too, she had no idea though that Sweetie had said anything as she landed on her hands and knees and lost hold of what was in her hand and her other hand let go of teh fauny, the pencil starting to roll away from the pair. Lila glanced up to the fauny and mouthed a 'sorry' while trying to get hold of the rolling pencil knowing she'd have to turn around again to the room and start the exploring all over if she lost it. Her hand blindly felt around on the deck for the illusive pencil, she hadn't even tried to get back up on her feet but she did try to move off the fauny.

( OOC, changing font color because I can't keep reading pink bold XD )
Sweetie Drops winced, watching the other pon- pae search for something. Maybe it was this.. Oh it was a pencil she'd landed on. No wonder it hurt when she landed. Well, it was nice to see something familiar. She hadn't seen many of these since her move from Ponyville. "Is this what you're looking for?" She asked, trying to be helpful.
When Sweetie realized they were fixing to be trampled, she moved to help the other. Mostly she had just wound up putting a knee on the weird winged po- pae's tail. That was different. Was this a bat pony? No no, they still had a mane and a tail. This tail was different looking. Sweetie blinked, gasped, and promptly let go of the other female's tail. "Sorry sorry!"

Thank the Guardians, he had come up with a suggestion she was all too willing to jump on. Good. That would get her out of the way while he figured out how he was going to not poison these people who insisted on following him -- GAH!
Lisandru's eyes widened as the woman was suddenly a few centimeters from his face, his posture freezing as she declared that there would be plenty. "Yes, there should be plenty of water. Go find it," urged Lisandru quietly, shooing the other Pae'il with his hand near his waist and hoping to whatever Guardian was listening that this fae would just take off already.
Lucky for him, she did.
Lisandru let out a long sigh of relief when she was far enough, even if her loud voice still seemed to bounce back and forth around the hallway. Was she seriously twirling down the hallway--
Oh never mind. Whatever.
"Can you get me the gloves post haste?" pleaded Lisandru to the still rather winded fairy, who, despite his windedness, obliged the supposedly sick Lisandru and flittered off to go get him the gloves he requested. He managed to return before the fae did, thankfully, but Lisandru wasn't taking any chances, grabbing the gloves and unceremoniously shoving them onto his arms before anything else could happen.
It wasn't perfect, but at least it let him use his hands without any significant concerns...
Maybe Lisandru worried a bit too much, but he couldn't help being concerned, especially around someone who seemed to have such a blatant disregard of, uhm ... tact. And being calm. She came across as very ... carefree. To put it nicely. Lisandru clenched his hands and fidgeted a bit awkwardly, deciding not to just shut the door and hide and at least let the determined fae come back with some water ... would be rude to tell her to go away after telling her to do something, right?
Did he think any part of this trip through? Why didn't he just go to the mountains?!

Ouchies! The fauny on her tail hurt and she pulled at it a little to dislodge it loosing her balance again when it suddenly came free with the fauny lifted her body weight. But seeing her pencil helped a little, now she was on her butt and looking up at the fauny and took the pencil, scribbling a 'thankyou' on the paper and turning to the female so she could see it. She didn't know her kind was odd and unknown to the fauny, she herself had heard of them but not seen them she only knew they were in some way related to the fauns. And since this female vaguely resembled a faun she could only assume that she was one of them.

Damsel in distress? She blushed even harder, thinking back on his search for her missing flower. Did that really make her a damsel in distress though? "Y-yes. Thank you. Again. I haven't lost it since." Her voice was soft as ever, so delicate like fine china. "What...why are you here?" The second major gathering she attended, and he was there again. Either the male was keeping tabs on her, or this was beginning to be a rather strange coincidence.

Sweetie Drops squeaked, seeing the scribbled thank you on the paper. Was this po- pae a mute? Well that would make sense, she wasn't talking right?
"You're welcome?" She offered in return, trying to keep her face from showing how confused she was. "Are you a bat?" Sweetie asked, curious. She had no idea what this other pon- pae was. THe fauny could clearly see the leathery wings and the tail. Even the bat ponies she'd heard about didn't have weird pointed tails. But this po- pae wasn't threatening. Maybe it was just one of those things. She might have been different. Maybe not. Sweetie Drops was willing to bet that the mute in front of her knew what she was though.

Lila stared almost intently at the lips of the fauny when she saw her speaking "A bat?" she repeated aloud, ok she sounded funny for certain, and she looked down away from the girl scribbling again. 'I'm a demon' her eyes looking back up to the girl as she showed her the paper and pulled herself back up again onto her feet. Lila hated speaking around people she didn't know, she always thought and was certain she'd be made fun of. It had certainly happened as a kid more then once and she'd found it just easier not to talk much. Once she she was certain the fauny had seen it she wrote once more 'Are you one of them fauny pae? like the fauns?' she looked back once more to the yello fauny staring intently at her lips again

"Good, this ship would be much harder to find flowers on" Vash said with a smile and munched the last donut he had. He then replied to Zana's question, "I have come for the cruise, and to protect the innocent!" he stood more upright from his relaxed position as he spoke and put his hand on his hip lifting the other and crossing his index and middle finger "For this world is filled with love and peace!" his attitude was corny, it had more then once caused a pae to facepalm, and he never ever paid any heed to it.

The demonic blinked at the full coated male, amazed at just...how much endless energy that poured from him. "But...if the world is filled with peace, why is there need to protect anything? Peace means no violence, right?" She still didn't understand him and his chivalrous nature. It was like he was on guard for things that didn't even happen yet, always expecting something horrible to occur.

Sweetie Drops blinked, no, this wasn't a bat pon- pae? Demon? What the heck? She rubbed her eyes, thinking there was something wrong with them. No, the paper still said 'I'm a demon.' So that meant evil and all that?
And then the paper was taken away, followed by a scritching sound of pencil against paper. So the demon wrote things instead of speaking? That was kind of weird. She hadn't seen or heard of that before.
"I'm just an earth pon-" She caught herself, "I'm a fauny." Sweetie smiled, trying to break her habit of calling herself and everypae around her a pony. They weren't ponies, they were faunies. It was about time Sweetie Drops remembered it.

Her ears, as divided as her attention may be, were certainly still operable and she heard the music that came to her. She loved music, absolutely loved it, and turned eagerly when she heard it. Who was playing? It was quite engaging, and she wanted to investigate further as to the source of it. Seeing the male who was playing, she smiled warmly and approached him. The rhythm of the music put a little bit of bounce in her step, her hands clapping lightly together in rhythm with the melody. Her bags were momentarily forgotten where she'd been standing, and she obliged him with a clapping accompaniment to his music. Thalia watched him, interested and eager to see what else he did, if he could play the flute. --------------------- Finding himself in his room was a bit of a relief to him, though the relief did not last very long as he found that the pitching of the ship in the swell of the water was not any less noticeable alone in his quarters. Leaving his bags securely tucked beside his bed, he quickly decided that being able to see the open air would be better for his stomach. This was a very quick decision. Quick enough, in fact, that he almost forgot to close the door behind him as he left, much less to look for anyone around him. Sure, he was aware there were other pae around him. But the heavy feeling in his gut and throat was of utmost importance to him. He was sure the others there were very nice, very friendly, or at least most of them were. However, at the moment, he didn't particularly care. The railing. He had to get to the railing. As his stomach gave a tell-tale push against his throat that he had to hold his breath to squelch, he rushed even more. Perhaps he should've been watching where he was going. That would've been a very good idea. Maybe then, he wouldn't have run smack into the female coming out of her room. Maybe then, he wouldn't have stumbled back, his hand clapping over his mouth as his eyes widened in combined alarm and surprise. He tried to apologise to her. He really did. But with his mouth firmly shut and a hand clamped over it, all he managed was, "Mmmph! Mmhphree!"

How much more perfect could this day get anyways? Grinning as he played, he continued to come nearer before sidestepping out of the way where they otherwise would have collided. He spun around on his heel, returning his eyes to her, as he momentarily paused in his song to speak with the darling damsel herself. "I'm Hjortur, from Alu Spring..." Reaching out to softly take her hand in a very polite and formal sort of gesture, he bowed his head. "...and who might you be, ma'am of the most beautiful blue?"
Waiting for an answer, he let her hand drop and raised his own back to his flute, holding it just under his lips, his eyes full of mischief. "Care to join me in a dance?"

A long, low tone sounded from the ship's horn, gathering the attention of everyone on the docks. Shortly after, a voice sounded over the PA system of the ship.
"Attention all passengers! We will be setting off shortly. Please finish your goodbyes and board the ship. We've got a schedule to keep and we're not going to sit here in port all day!
We will set sail this evening for our first stop. Passengers will have the evening and night to enjoy the luxuries of their new home away from home. Dinner will be served in the dining hall; formal wear not required. In the morning, we will be docking at our first island stop. Vacationers will have their choice of activities, though a scuba diving expedition will be lead by some of our Aquatl guides, for those who are interested in something other than relaxing on the beach and sunbathing.
We thank you for choosing Telrunya Travels for your vacationing needs and hope that you all have a pleasant stay with us!"
The remaining steward fairies on the dock buzzed with renewed fervor, loading the last pieces of luggage, others bringing aboard crates likely filled with food, drink, and other necessities for a pleasure cruise. When everything was loaded and all the Pae'il and fairies aboard, the ship sounded another long, low blast from its horn, signaling that it was about to set sail.
Somewhere in the lower levels of the ship, the engine rumbled to life. Inquisitive Pae'il who managed to evade the fairies' attempts at diversion and slip beneath decks would be met with locked doors, labeled with signs reading: "Engine Room: Keep out." Smoke began to billow from the smokestacks as the ship rumbled to life and started its slow journey away from the docks. Picking up speed, the ship was soon turning towards the open sea, those left on shore waving to those saying farewell from the upper deck.
---
((And now the cruise is on its way. For now, the Pae'il are free to continue mingling, partake in the fairies' generous hospitality, and get a good night's sleep, if they so wish. They are free to do as they wish until reaching the ship's first stop in the morning; our next prompt.
Naiads will not have to worry about drying out on the trip. When on deck, the sea spray kicked up by the ship keeps the air quite humid, and when below decks, their rooms are outfitted with combination shower/baths for all, and Naiad rooms have had normal beds replaced with water tanks for their guests' comfort.
The ship is outfitted with a dining hall, as mentioned, a small dance floor and band, a bar, and even a casino run by some cheerful-looking little Avalon fairies in vests and visors. Hmm...I'd be careful of that one dealer with the glint in his eye.))
