Salt nodded his head understanding why she left. "I left my parents pack close to the same reason. My father was some resurrected demi-god and he was killing off packs and making the wolves of other packs fight and kill there families." He looked away for a moment as the memories floated through his head.
"I'm trying to start my own pack. I have... had.. two other females with me but we got seperated not long ago. I'm sure they'll catch up soon though." He shrugged his shoulder unsure if they would or not. "Anyway, I plan to take this area as my own but you seem friendly enough so I won't run you off" The wolf stood up and looked too the forest area, "I'm going to venture into the forest and try to find what prey lives here. You're welcome to come along if you wish." He gave a slight bow to her and let the question stand as he moved past her and through the tall grass toward the trees.

stormy's eyebrow twitched in an annoyed manner and her rebel side broke though and she muttered to her self "as if you could run me off." she turned in the other direction and began muttering to herself "males and their big egos." she continues to mutter as she walks off

finally stormy came across a small ledge overlooking a stream and wondered aloud " he didn't seem so bad but he already said he was going to claim this territory so I guess that mean I will probably have to keep wondering."

a few days later stormy was having catching food it seemed that all the small animals had disappeared and only larger prey such as deer remained. which required having a pack to help catch.. " I should have joined that males pack but I haven't seen him in days and I cant pick up a trail." against her better judgment she decided to hunt anyway she came across a big buck and charge after him she almost had him until he swung his big neck and gored stormy's underbelly which caused to release her grip on the buck. defeated and in intense pain stormy found a small rocky den to rest in "with this injury I won't be able to hunt and I will starve to death." stormy fell into a restless sleep

Salt sat not far from a small deer heard. "What am I going to do?" he asked himself. He scanned the area looking for the girls, or that other female. His stomach growled angry at the lack of food. Figuring sitting around wasn't going to do anything to help get prey he started on his way down the small hill.

Aurora fallowed along the path the spirits had laid out for her. Someone needed help and the long dead wolves of this valley felt she was able to help. Her dark grey and black fur stuck out in the green grass and her fur grew warm in the warmth of the sun.
Finally the trail stopped and so did she. Looking around she didn't see anyone one. Her nose caught a whiff of early blooming flowers and she padded along looking for them.

the next morning woke up and tried to stand but a sharp pain brought her back to laying down. stormy was losing hope and said aloud "I am able to heal others but unable to heal myself my gift is more of a curse." she layed her head down and drifted off into a fitful sleep

Salt was unable to catch a deer on his own but managed to catch a few small birds. It wasn't much but it got him through the night.
The next morning he woke and a familiar scent floated by. He knew it was Aurora and therefore Alice would be close by. With a stretch and a yawn the young male went to find the females.
After a bit of padding through the overgrown valley he stopped in front of the female from a few days ago. She seemed hurt but he wasn't able to spot a wound at this angle. "I didn't fancy I'd find you here still. Thought you had moved on." Unsure if she was conscious he moved a paw to lightly touch her shoulder. Her back rose and fell with each breath so he had no worry that she wasn't alive.

" I was going to but I needed to hunt and the only thing to hunt was deer and I found a big buck and one thing led to another." stormy rolled over to reveal a huge long gash on her belly. "and as you can see I got more than I bargained for."

Salt flinched as she showed her wound. He had no idea how to help her. He looked around but wasn't sure what plants could help. With a sigh he offered the only thing he could. "I can go out and find meat for you, but I cannot help heal you sadly. We will have to hope getting food for you will help for the time being." With that he gave a slight head bow and was off in search of a quick meal for her.

stormy rolled back over and tried to relax although her wounds made it difficult. "I hope salt gets back soon I am starving."

Not too far from Stormy, an enormous wolf was in the bushes watching. He, too like the rest of the wolves he smelt, was hungry. The wolf was losing his sane wolf mind and was slowly losing to his beastly demon side. At this point, he would eat anything. The demon wolf readied his pounce when he saw another male speak to the female and this made him ponder whether he should attack them both but when he looked again, the male was leaving. 'Now's my chance!' He thought until his stomach made a loud growl, giving away is position.

stormy head immediately swung towards the noise and she struggled to get up and let out a threating growl and said "if you think just because I am injured that I am not a threat you are mistaken, show yourself."

The wolf came out of the bushes licking his chops. "I don't think you can stop me." This wolf was huge! He stuck out though with his black pelt. "Who will help you?" He eased closer to her.

stormy knew that in her current state she would not come out of this alive, but she was going out without a fight. stormy crouched into a fighting postion and said "i may be wounded but i am not going out without a fight."
