Takao laughed, loud after the boy disappeared. If one could possibly be foolish enough to ask me such a thing. Her smile became twisted. I might as well do what that ghost asked of me. However what puzzled her was the fact that he knew exactly what she was thinking. The only demon she knew who was able to read a person's thoughts would be possibly Buer. Though she only met the thing once or twice. A stupid looking smirk was held onto Takao's lips. She would gladly drag his spirit down to hell - it was all that was left of him after all anyhow. She calmed down a bit after some amusing little hints of laughter to herself. Everyone else in the room was silent. Takao still held her twisted smile, and scratched the back of her wrist. She hadn't notice the other boy enter the room only until he made his way to approach her.

Nobody really approached Takao unless they knew her personally. She enjoyed scaring people off and making enemies - though she still needed a friend or two rather. Being the cruel demon she was, she would possibly be just one of the many who make the name of her kind to be true. She looked up at the boy who stood before her now, still her crooked smile intact. She tried to take the boy seriously until he mentioned that the ghost guy was cool. Takao laughed at him. That ghost guy is not cool what so ever. He's dead. There ain't a thing he can do about it. Takao spoke down on him once more. It was fun and all to tease idiotic kids. Though she was a demon, and she might as well live up to the name given to her. Well, Jade. Sit down. Takao showed her palm up, her fake innocence shining right through. She beckoned him to sit down across the table from her. You need to learn about the school right? Her head was now cocked to the side slightly and she chuckled. Don't screw around with the upper classmen. The demon girl's smile disappeared. Her reference was more of don't get the upper classmen mad. Especially Jin.

Her cheeks grew a light crimson from the thought of Jin fighting. She could stay in a daze from thinking about it. Takao looked back at the boy now and looked him over. This is Warriors Academy. . . Can you fight? The girl sighed, figuring he could be fast for his small size. But she would find no real use in having him as her ally. If only she knew his species would it likely to change her mind. Takao hadn't met another demon in this world before. And if another student know's your species, you better be damn sure you trust that he won't stab you in the back. Takao smiled after that. The blood! Oh the lovely red. It would make a mess if a person did it quite literally. But that didn't matter - not now anyway. Takao referred back to what the boy had said earlier. Maybe you'd be a bit more welcomed if the Mess Hall wasn't the first place to go. There are a lot of monsters in the school. If one knows better, he could find the right people to deal with.

Jade chuckled a bit and nodded slightly. "I get why you might think that way, but I've never seen a ghost before, so it's pretty interesting to me, besides, I've never talked to him, but I've always wanted to meet a ghost. There are lots of stories about them after all, but he didn't seem so scary." It was pretty obvious by his words, that he didn't really like the idea of judging people before meeting them. Jade blinked a few times as she told him to sit down, but he didn't say anything about it and sat down like he was invited to. For the time being, he was kind of happy to get at least this much attention, he thought as he took his seat across from Takao. "Yes, I need to know enough to survive this place. Seems like a pretty interesting place, that could also be quite dangerous, I have no issue with danger, but I'll take your advice. I won't piss off the upper classmen... on purpose at least." He said with a laugh, as he was quite used to danger at this point, it's not like his parents went easy on him when it came to training. That was something that would probably end up helping him in the end.

The demon boy was glad to be speaking to somebody who was clearly a lot more knowledgeable about the academy as him. "Of course I can fight, but I could always get better, that's why I'm here, to learn how to get stronger. If I didn't need to improve, I wouldn't be here, but I yes, I can fight, i just don't like fighting unless I have a good reason to do so." He really didn't know why exactly she was asking if he could fight, but he didn't really care, she asked a question, so Jade answered it. That was all there was to it. "So, what you're saying is that I should keep what I am to myself? That doesn't seem very fun to me, my dad always said that I should making things more challanging on myself, or I'd never improve. Based on that, guess it doesn't matter if I trust you or not, I'll tell you anways." Jade said with a laugh as he didn't really want to always be looking behind him, when the time came he would deal with it. For now however, he wasn't too worried as he continued to speak. "I'm a demon, well, two different types of demons, combined into one, cause of my parents. One is a water demon, the other is a fire demon, I do realize that it's kind of weird that the two of them fell for each other, but clearly I'm not going to complain about that." The demon boy said with a grin as he really wasn't too woried about others stooping so low. "There might be lots of monsters around, as you call them, but that's not going to stop me from enjoying myself and getting stronger.".

OOC: It's alright, I think this worked better anyways, I had no intention of getting in the way anyways. lol

Takao nodded, listening to his answers. Though she chuckled after he spoke of this trusting her business. Of course Takao would be very trust worthy if she was able to put a person to good use for herself. However, now Takao was only going to put on a facade of her true intentions - just as she does always. She laughed after he told her what he was. You see? She said, now looking him over. The monsters here are smart. Once they know what you are - the easier it is for them to take you out. But now that she thought about it, the only way to take a demon out truly would be to send them straight into the 5th level of hell. But Takao would never speak of that to anybody - it was simply if they knew how than it was great. If not, than they will never get rid of Takao completely and she was not planning on going back home without picking a fight or two. Monsters at the academy can be vicious. Even the teachers bully the students just for the hell of it. She smiled, thinking back to the war and strategy's teacher - boy was he a sucker for a pretty lady but he was handome too.

The girl was a shadow demon. She found it to be at her best advantage because she would have shadows to manipulate whenever she wanted them to. Takao crossed her arms over her chest. I'd picture the water demon to be your father as water would take out a fire. Takao asked him indirectly. Takao had a different story - though she was very proud of it. So she may not have been born as a full fledged human, but she was one of the strongest turns out there. Being as she is now was her reward for her effortless work of killing others. A grim smile came across Takao's lips. You're oddly kind for a demon. She commented, wondering how he would act. She liked his purple hair too, well not really liked. Takao liked different, but she more fell for the strong and intimidating - either way she was not interested in someone who she didn't consider strong. Aren't demons supposed to be . . . Takao paused, pursing her lips a little in doubt to make herself seem more innocent. you know, ugly and devious? Like the stories about them. Takao had not normal attributes of looking like a demon, so there was no way one could know what she was unless it got out to the school. She was a good liar, after all she was one hell of a demon.

Jade laughed again, which seemed to be his usual reaction to hearing about stuff that could get him injured. "It's no big deal, I might not be the smartest, or anywhere near it, but one thing I'm good at is training and fighting. I might not be the best at that either, but I do have a few tricks up my sleeve. It might be easier for them, but I won't let it happen that way." It was at least a good thing that Jade knew his own weaknesses. That was a good way to know the right course of action, but he wasn't worried enough about his situation. "Wow, even the teachers do something like that, that doesn't seem very fair, I'll have to watch out for that, but I guess that's what friends are for. This place seems like it could be a lot of fun and hopefully a learning experience" He said with a chuckle as such behaviour didn't seem to phase him. Jade was a demon after all. He wasn't about to be worried or scared about something that might happen anywhere.

"Nope, my father is the fire demon, it's not that surprising to me, everything he does, is a little odd. That's just the way he is. He fell for a water demon, lived like a normal human with her, in a town that was full of humans, but they're the kind that like demons. They all knew, they even knew about me. I had a pretty good life until now, made lots of friends. I guess you could say my whole family is a little odd. That's probably why I'm not your typical demon and I can be kind to others." With what Jade said, it would be clear that he knew quite a bit about demons. That some people didn't like them and thought they were all evil. This of course wasn't the truth. When she brought up the idea that demons were supposed to be ugly and devious he just nodded and continued to speak. "Of course some are, clearly, it's not a complete rumor, I imagine the ones that kidnapped my mom are that type though." Jade let out a sigh as his own words reminded him of why he was even at the Academy. "My dad said I wasn't strong enough to help, so he told me about this place. I think he might have been a student here at one point."

Even though he thought about it, he was still in the process of moving on and just putting all his effort into the Academy. He smiled a bit and looked at Takao. "Anyways, I like you, you say a lot of interesting stuff... uh, I mean, you know... I don't like like you, but I hope we can at least get along." Jade said while rubbing his head slightly, not really sure what her reaction would be to what he said.

OOC: It's fine, It's been a little more active lately then it was when I first join a few weeks ago now. I got lots of time for RPing, so I'm usually good with being active. Anyways, I really hope you used that last line of your post on purpose. lol

"We Dream Of Hope..."

║│║▌│█│║▌││█║║██║▌│█║▌│║║█║║▌║

Ϩolstice watched as quarrels started and calmed down. Students went and came but boy did his stomach growling stayed. It was getting grouchy at him and for sure he felt a little grouchy himself. He should have spoken to dear Umiko and helped push away the probability of a boredom she had. A small disappointed sigh escaped him as he adjusted his dark clothing.

The black beanie with his black v neck sweater with his uniform underneath, dark leather gloves, the snake loose gray scarf that covered half of his face as the ends dangled in front of him, a pair of dark blue jeans and black combat boots; made him feel like he was baking himself. He straightened his self in his seat and cleared his throat to the uncomfortable heat. He pulled his scarf up and planted his hands on the table, frowning the tingly sensations he was having within the gloves. The temptation to pull off his gloves and have his hands breath in the air was great but who knew what his father would do if he found out. He'd end up finding out but he always found out something, even if he didn't breathe a word of it.

Back into reality, Solstice tuned back to the newbie who was strange. "Jade" was a strange name and so was his... Demon combination. Fire and water were complete opposites. Why would they want to put each other out? A fire big enough could evaporate water and a body of water big enough could pass out the great ball of burning energy. Peculiar... May Jade's parents live without sentencing each other to death.

"Hello." He spoke finally breaking into the conversation. It seemed to be rude at the time but he was in the mood to be crashing into exchanging of sentences. "Sorry to intrude but I dislike eavesdropping." Solstice twined his leather fingers between the spaces and smiled behind his scarf. His eyes went over to Takao, still looking like smiles, to the mention of teachers. "One particular teacher just does it to punish the bad students for being troublesome is all. I don't think he would do it for the hell of it." Right? "Anyway, Jade, you do realize that it's going to be a good couple of years before you can start saving people, don't you? And I imagine your mother won't wait that long with the kidnappers."

They had to have good food, right? Or maybe it'd be just like a normal school lunch... which wasn't too exciting anymore, if that was the case. "Parrot, you have to stay in there for awhile longer, okay?" The bunny nodded, disheartened that he wouldn't be able to lounge about and be a pig. "I'll see if they have any carrots." He loved carrots (how stereotypical) but was very open to trying new things- especially food. If there was one thing he and his master had in common, it was the fact that they both enjoyed a good meal of variety. A three course meal could easily double, or even triple, knowing these two. It was a good thing they were super active.

Ryu led them to the mess hall, which for the most part seemed lively. "Man," Ryu thought, "I hope they have sushi or something." Ryu was often a sucker for Japanese cuisine. It not only looked appealing but it somehow just matched his tastebuds just right. Ryu smiled a little as he saw Lee telling Parrot to stay put. "Hope he's not too hot in there," Ryu remarked, "Maybe some water would be nice as well." His stomache growled again, this time more loudly than before as he covered his stomach embarrassingly. "Heh, thanks... I think," Ryu said as Lee praised him.

Luckily for them, they arrived seeing as Ryu wasn't the best with directions. He made is way over to the cafeteria line and began piling up mass amounts of food. Ryu's mouth began to water as some of the cafeteria food looked especially delicious. He noticed that half the room was in darkness while the other half was in the light. "Interesting layout," Ryu noted before realizing his food intake was a little... out of the ordinary. He smiled nervously back at Lee, hoping she wouldn't notice, or ask questions on why he took so much. Luckily for him, this school had a nice policy for meal-plans as Ryu paid for his food up front at the cashier with a meal-plan card.

Takao smiled. This kid had guts. And it seemed to be that he wouldn't run from a fight even though he knew that he was not the smartest or toughest demon around. Still, it bugged Takao that in fact the was not the strongest of the group. At most, she could just him as a shield to protect herelf from damaging her pretty face. Takao chuckled. The red haired boy's input was correct. But she would never admit that she had something to do with angering the professor that got the class in trouble in the first place. She rubbed the back of her neck uncomfortable as more people began to pour into the mess hall. The girl wouldn't bother to explain to them that lunch wouldn't be served until later since a ghost boy was ticked off about it earlier. That made Takao laugh - he left without saying goodbye. Jade's life story was slightly amusing to her. They were quite opposite. Takao hated her father, and murdered him. Jade loved his, and his mother too. This made Takao feel a bit lonely - she looked down at the table still listening with her hands atop one another. I imagine the ones that kidnapped my mom are that type though. Takao looked back at Jade. There were many kidnappings but - she never really paid attention to them.

She nodded. Many parents send their kids to the same schools as they did once, so it was a possibility that he was a student. She felt uncomfortable with the more populated area. Takao sighed. Thanks. . . She mumbled. Nobody has ever really told her that they liked her even as a friend. Takao was more of the antisocial type that hated nearly everyone she came across - period. She didn't blush, but she did look away towards the incoming crowd. Her eyebrows rose. It was that kid again. She never got his name, but the large sword on his back was not hard to spot. Takao's eyes went back to Jade. So. . . Being a water and fire demon and all. What are you strong points? She asked then looked at Solstice. What about you? At first Takao thought she had found a diamond in the ruff when she found out Jade was a two part demon. Though he was not strong, and he was too kind. Her best partner in crime would be Jin by the looks of it. Though he was the silent type.... What's your name by the way? Takao asked still looking at Solstice. She was curious, so she might as well ask away while she was playing good girl.

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓

Jade wasn't the type to really worry about how his actions and words might effect him in the future. Keeping his powers hidden wasn't something that he really cared too much about. Jade was pretty bad at keeping secrets anyways, so it would have been out of the bag eventually. However, there was an exception to his lack of secret keeping when it involved other people trusting him with a secret. For the time being, he didn't really mind telling Takao about himself. It was nice to talk to somebody about himself and she seemed pretty interested. Maybe a little too interested, but the male demon didn't catch on to the fact. At least she was somebody that might end up being a good friend and that's all that mattered.

Upon hearing the red haired boy intrude on their conversation, he looked toward him and smiled a bit when he said hello. "It's fine with me, you were here and it wasn't exactly a private conversation." He said with a slight nod as the other boy spoke to Takao like they had known each other for a while. To Jade it seemed like they were on good terms, but he could be way off. There was no way to tell from the extremely short conversation between the two of them, with him present. Either way, Jade thought about the words directed at him and how he'd like to reply. "Yup, you're absolutely right about that. I need to be able to protect myself first, before saving other people, but that doesn't mean I can't try if I want to save somebody in trouble. I also do realize that by the time I'd be able to help save my mom, she'd already be dead or already saved by my dad." Jade said the last part a little sadly, but it was obvious that he had thought far too much about the facts.

Despite reminding himself about his parents, he was still able to smile as he looked back toward Takao. Jade was glad that Takao was at least thankful for him saying that he liked her as a friend. Of course it wasn't anything more, they had just only met after all. Once again, he needed to think for a few moments when the coversation with Takao turned toward his strong points. "Lets see, strong points huh? Well, I'd have to say the water part is better than the fire, only cause my flames are a little special, so it's taken a little extra time. At the moment, relying on my body is my strongest point. I might be scrawny, but I'm still a demon." Jade said with a smirk that showed off his demonic fangs for the first time. This at least showed that he wasn't lying about what he was.

OOC: lol He is a really awesome character, one of my favorites. I was happy to see it and it seems to work good for your character.

Ϩolstice looked at her as he tried to figure out his strong points. Good looks, smart, all that good stuff? Maybe he should go into depth about magic and all. How he could blast fire or stuff. Huh, maybe it was best to keep it himself and the staff. As this girl said before, it can be dangerous what one can do if they found out what you were... Even though, eventually everyone will know. He shrugged as a reply and looked at the newcomers. "It's Solstice." He said as his eyes followed the couple. Already dating on the first day of school? Shocker.

He turned his attention to the Ying Yang boy and crossed his arms. Oh, fangs. Big no no. Hopefully no trouble involving fangs this year. "Be careful with those fangs. Wouldn't want them in someone's neck." He remarked as he suddenly smelt a wave of food in the Mess Hall. "Seems like it's time to eat."

Solstice rose up from his seat and headed up to get a meal. He grabbed a tray and looked through the glasses of food choosing which one he wanted to eat. Eating in the outside seemed like a good idea as he got to think where he would eat and such. "Maybe... I should get some cherries..." He mumbled to himself, having a little trouble picking his food.

Takao smiled. Smart boy.. . . Good boy. She thought to herself. Most people would have just come out to her saying exactly what they were while disregarding exactly what she was talking about earlier. Takao looked at the two boys she sat with, looking back between one and then the other. "The name's Takao by the way. . ." She said, smiling a little bit more cheerfully. Takao didn't have such big fangs, however that did not mean that they did not work as efficiently as Jade's or any other demon's. Her gaze was toward Jade once again. So water is his strong point huh. . . She thought, resting her chin on her palm as if she were looking more interested in what he said. Takao nodded. "Scrawny yes. . . however you're small so the better people to less suspect you of being a demon. This made Takao chuckle, just because it was sort of ironic for herself. With fangs like that, people would assume you're a vampire. Takao commented as well as Solstice. She too noticed the heavy smell of food that lingered in the Mess Hall. Seemed that it was a little sooner than she expected it to be. The girl shrugged her small shoulders and got up as well. She checked her small shadow ball that was still beneath her skirt, and hanging off of her thigh. A small sigh left her lips. She was glad that it hadn't touched anything yet.

She looked over toward the food and beckoned Jade to come too. Once she came to the counter she pondered while she picked at some food items. I just want meat. . . Takao thought, almost drooling at the thought of eating some bloody meat. She could have drooled at the thought, however she just picked at random items and put them on her tray. Mostly items that were gooey. Once Takao was done picking at food, she payed for it, and went back to the table that she was sitting at. She took a moment to examine exactly what she had picked out. The fork in her hand was poking at the foods. Chicken with some type of sticky sauce. . . cherry jello. . . and a small parfait. Takao shrugged her shoulders and poked her fork at the cherry jello leaving small holes. She waited for her table mates to come back if they still wanted to. I rarely ever came to lunch. . . I don't even know if this stuff is good. Takao smiled and seemed to be bashful with her confession. In actuality she never bothered to eat lunch. All she really cared for was dinner. She nibbled at the jello quietly.

Jade was kind of happy that the red haired boy shared his name with the two of them. Solstice seemed quite informed about the Academy, so it would be helpful in the future to call him by name. The demon boy was at least smart enough to know that if he didn't want to get lost, or do something stupid he could ask somebody who was more informed. "It's nice to meet you Solstice, that's quite an interesting name, I'm sure I heard that word somewhere in the past though, oh well." He said with a weak laugh, before his fangs were brought up by the other male. "Yeah, I know to be careful, don't worry, I've never used them as a weapon. I don't plan on it either, blood isn't something I care for anyways." Jade wasn't really too sure why he was being told to be careful, he was always careful. His fangs had always been there, he was more worried about biting himself. Either way, he wanted to reassure Solstice that he'd be careful.

His attention turned back toward Takao as she too decided to share her name. It had taken her awhile to do so, but that didn't bother Jade. She probably had her own reasons. It wasn't his business to ask why, so he just smiled happily. "It's nice to finally know your name, Takao. That's a pretty interesting name too, mine seems so plain now." Jade nodded as she countinued to speak after telling them her name. It was nice to hear her seemingly trying to help him out with what he had told her. "You're right about that, it does make it easier to get around without people knowing." Jade blinked a few times, hearing her say that people might think he's a vampire. Jade's couldn't help, but he still nodded at what she said before replying. "I don't plan on staying inside when the sun is out, sounds like quite a hassle to me."

The smell of food had finally started coming from inside the Mess Hall. This was what he was waiting for after all. It had been a while since his last meal, so he'd want to make this count. With their conversation over for the time being it was time to eat. Jade pushed himself back up to his feet and followed after Takao as she beckoned him to follow. Despite not knowing that Takao was demon, Jade pretty much said what she was thinking, well everything except for the blood part that was. "I hope there is a lot of meat, that's all I really look forward to." Jade said with a grin as he was pretty close to drooling. Living among humans for so long he was used to other food, but he really wished they'd make a new meal time that only consisted of meat. Either way, he needed to decide on what to get. That wasn't too difficult for him as he headed back over to the same table and put his tray down.

His plate had that same type of chicken as Takao, but with two portions instead. Jade also clearly wanted to throw off suspicion of him only wanting to eat meat. To accomplish that he had added some other food to his plate that he'd try to eat, but didn't necessarily like too much. Takao did seem to know a few important things for him to know, which seemed to include keeping being a demon to himself. Why couldn't that apply to what he ate too? "I hope so, it does smell pretty good. Hopefully it tastes even better though." Jade said as he busily went to work on cutting up his food with a knife and fork. Once again, living with humans in the past seemed to help him out in this type of situation.

OOC: It's messed up for me too, but I'm hoping it will fix itself when we get to the next page. So maybe somebody should post a few times in a row after this post so we can see if that fixes it. lol
Yeah, he really is a badass, but you're right, it was pretty sad, he probably should have seen it coming.

Aaron Tsume Corona & Mojo

Aaron was new to the school, so he walked into a lunch area. He was followed by his trusting dog, Mojo. He was a little stunned seeing different types of people. He walked around at first and looked at the students. He didn't know that the school was really filled with gifted people. Aaron found an empty table and sat down. Mojo sat down on a chair as well. Both Mojo and Aaron were alittle uneasy, they weren't used to seeing many people. Aaron looked at Mojo and said, "Looks like its going to be different then back at home." Mojo nodded. "I have no idea how to even get around here. Its so big and filled with different people." Mojo tilted his head and looked around. Aaron sighed and sat there, thinking about many things.
Aaron looked at Mojo and said, "We can go and say hi to some people." Mojo shook his head and gave a small huff. Mojo got off the chair and walked over to Aaron. He placed his head on his lap and smiled. Aaron patted Mojo on his head, "Come on boy, we can make some friends here. Maybe you can meet another dog. I mean who knows." Mojo gave a low growl and sat down next to Aaron. Aaron looked around hoping someone woul say hi to him and Mojo.

Takao seemed to have dozed off. However the mess hall was still crowded with the same people it had before. Already there was talk about some missing student. Not that she cared, however she was interested in why this student was picked to be kidnapped. She rose her arms above her head in a lazy stretch. Takao eyed the kid she was talking to earlier. "Hmm... Jade right?" She said, questioning herself a little bit. Her hands were now back at the table. Her snacks were stale and didn't look at all appetizing. Did you her at about the kidnapped person? In all honesty, she assumed it would have been a girl - simply because they are seen as weaker and tend to let their guard down. Takao would never let that happen to herself, she was stronger than everyone else was after all.

Jade hadn't done much since he had finished eating, probably waiting for the food to digest. Either way, with his bad direction skills, he wasn't about to leave the side of other students. He had already gotten lost once and refused to let that happen again. His attention turned toward Takao as she seemed to have woke up again. Jade nodded as she seemed to remember his name. "Yup, it's still Jade." He said with a grin, before listening to her ask him about the kidnapped person. "Yeah, I did hear about that person. Probably would have started looking, but I didn't want to get lost again. Then there would be two people to look for." Jade said with a weak laugh. "I don't know who it is or where to start looking, but it seems like it might help me to get to know this place a bit better, if I'm ever gonna get around alone. You gonna look for them? If so, then it might be good to team up."
