There Eternal Senshi of Danger wandered in, late, as per usual. He looked around, then over his shoulder at the knight following after him. Chaonis had happened to find the guy quite literally while on his way over to this little meeting, since he was friends with Maia and at least wanted to show her he was interested in the things she asked him to join in on.

But not too interested, thus being late. He had a reputation to maintain, after all.

The knight looked wholly baffled, a page that must have only just powered up for the first time recently, blinking and looking around at all the other powered beings. They all had auras that he could feel, all different in ways but all the same. It was overwhelming, and he couldn't point out which one belonged where.

He felt a little under dressed, as well.

"Hey guys!" Chaonis called leisurely, walking toward the group, looking for faces he knew that didn't also hate him. It actually looked like a really good crowd, for which he was glad. He didn't go to these kind of things very often, but at the moment he wasn't regretting showing up yet. He even felt a little excited. He liked this job of his, helping his fellow senshi.

The page, however, was forgotten.

Luxor was left to his own devices, so he followed Chaonis, who he did not even know by name, and tried not to look as timid as he felt. He was 29 years old, after all. But he was also half naked. That sort of cancelled everything else out.

While introductions might not have been Delilah's thing even as Sailor Phact, there was one voice that she knew needed none. Behind her as she walked in, Phact heard a voice that sent a pain down into her ankle.

Sailor Chaonis, Senshi of Danger. A danger to everyone including himself. Maybe we should do this in the middle of the nearest desert. Phact thought as she remembered her run-in with him. Broken side-walks. Fallen Lamps. A busted ankle. And an ego to out shine it all. Yet now she put a smile on and turned around. The male didn't know her in this form and she wasn't about to make it easy on him. Rather, she would like to scare him a bit and see just how much of an ego he had.

"Hello Chaonis. Nice to see someone else is later than I am." Presenting him with one of her award-winning smiles, Phact noticed he wasn't alone and suddenly appeared softer. "Who is your friend?"

Oh! There was a face she knew. The senshi of danger was a figure she seemed to keep running into, usually because he was saving her life when she bit off more than she could chew. His presence went a long way towards banishing her fears, and while she still had misgivings, she was a lot more comfortable than she had been.

She blinked when the purple-haired girl joined her, wincing as she was poked right in her stitches. Another reminder of what had happened and why she was so nervous.

"Y-yeah, I was there on Pi day. You're Lily's friend, right? Um... Zia? Its nice to see you again, I'm a little surprised. But, I guess everyone here is a civilian too, so I guess maybe its not all that surprising. I'm... kind of glad I wasn't the only one who didn't power up right away... I was starting to feel stupid."

Speaking of... things were wrapping up and it was about time she did something about that. At least there were some high level senshi here... it should be safe...

"I'm sorry, give me just a moment." She said as she sidled back, turning away shyly as she pulled out her pen and called out for her power. When the light faded, she was in her familiar fuku, feeling the new strength that came with it. It also came with more nerves, unfortunately... she felt exposed, like a mouse out in the open with a cat hiding somewhere nearby.... which was, maybe, not a terribly good thought right now, since the cats were on her side. Snake maybe...?

Shaking her head, she turned back to Zia and offered her a little smile, her gloved fingers twisting together.

Euphrosyne had heard about this from some other senshi that he had meet awhile ago and he was pretty hyped up about it too!

He could finally show his superpowers to others. He had not met a lot of order align people so he was pretty darn excited to be here. He was partially wiggling in his suit. He let out a small childish giggle and quickly covered his mouth. He wondered if anyone heard.

It seemed that he was one of the youngest people around but that didn't matter. He may be small but that didn't mean he didn't have guts! He was brave real brave and he knew this would gain him experience and new friends! Plus he could tell them about his code of honor, and maybe just maybe they would start to follow it too! That would be super duper awesome!

He was going to train like the best of them and have a fun time at it too! "Hi! I'm Chibi Sailor Euphrosyne! It's nice to meet everyone! I hope I'm not interrupting anything! If I am I'm sorry. I just heard this was the training spot so I came as fast as I could! I hope that I can train!" he let out with a boyish giggle.

Maia looked around at the amount of people that had showed up and decided that it was probably a good number to start with. She just needed to make sure she got everyone names in order so the pairs could be called out. She made her way around the crowd to find Zia whom she could have sworn was off by Orah and once she spotted her, she said. "Since you're here, you get to help. Come on let's go. You're good at this sort of thing anyway."

She moved back toward the crowd fully expecting Zia to follow. "All right everyone," she called out. "Thank you all for coming. Really it's amazing to see so many new faces for this rather impromptu training session. Gather round and if you haven't powered up and can please, do so now." She looked to Ian who she knew to still be in corner, though she thought he was being prodded by Sheena.

"Everyone who hasn't given your name or at least gotten a name tag, has a few minutes to do so now, so that sparring pairs maybe assigned so we can get this underway."

[OOC: This rp in now officially closed to new people joining in. I will give 5 minutes in case someone was working on a post, but after the five minutes passes, no more new characters please. The sparring will begin shortly.]

And of course Sheena had spotted him and come to pester, or nudge, him to go and meet others. Not only that but she wanted him to power up. For a moment he felt the desire to whine about not wanting to power up. But to do that would be childish and he didn't care for coming off that way with all these people here.

"Sheena, I don't like large groups of people." He whispered as he knelt down to her level, he didn't care to raise his voice and be spied by others. The fact she'd seen him was enough, it told him others might have noticed him.

Looking at the cat he knew he'd loose the fight against her though. She'd just keep prodding at him till he gave her what she wanted, and she wanted him powered up and to play social. He wasn't going to play social butterfly but he could power up for her.

It was under the bleachers, hoping to keep out of sight, that he powered up and stepped out then and went to collect a name tag, as he heard some red head mentioning them. Did they really need name tags? this wasn't like a school field trip or anything. He wasn't aware the red head had spied him in his hidden little corner, before he'd gone and powered up. "Sailor Chaldene."

The name, slowly becoming more and more familiar, passed his lips as he reached the front of the room in order to get a name tag.

With how quickly people were finding one another, it seemed Pandora didn't need to utilize her new-found powers in greeting people, so learned at Kesslan Reever's most recent birthday party.

What she was not prepared for were children. They weren't being watched, they weren't even civilians. The first one, Pandora had let pass as a sort of folly. Perhaps she was mistaking size and voice for age.

After the second, and after the introduction of Chibi, it seemed it was a different matter entirely. There was a lump in her throat.

Quieting, she joined Maia as she gave her announcement. The back of her neck was beginning to itch, and Pandora's eyes kept glancing over to the children. At least there were two, and Pandora was sure Maia would have the sense to pair them together.

"Can I talk to you when we're finished?" With making the pairs and giving a practice example, she meant.

When she glanced up, she realized she was quite wrong. There were three. Pandora cast a desperate look at Maia, and then parted quitetly from the Eternal.

After squeezing her way by a few people talking, Pandora was in comfortable speaking distance with a newly arrived page. "Are you here for the training session? Please, come on in and join us. We're about to get started."

Palatine tried to pay enough attention to put names to faces as further introductions were made, but she began to grow progressively more uncomfortable as younger and younger people began filtering into the room.

So there were little kids involved after all. And here she’d begun to hope that part of the powered introduction had been Sess’s idea of a sick joke.

“Apparently no one appreciates your sense of humor,” she mumbled to the Squire who already seemed to be riling tempers, and who was most certainly not her friend. He was just the guy who happened to be around when she awakened.

And also her son-in-law’s older brother, but she often liked to pretend there wasn’t any son-in-law at all, not because she didn’t like him but because everyone involved in that affair was too young for there to even be a son-in law. Palatine included.

Regardless, mumbling back and forth to him was much less distressing than staring over at the one kid who looked like he was, like, five or something.

God damn, but there was something seriously wrong with the world.

When the labels had come round Athene had hesitated before picking one up. The dark-haired senshi hadn’t realised that labels was part of the whole practice sparring thing and it felt a little too much like kindergarten or one of those awkward get to meet each other things.

He’d written ‘Sailor Athene’ on the label in his somewhat on the messy side handwriting before pinning it awkwardly on the front of his senshi outfit, threading it between the two ‘wings’ on his brooch.

After thinking it over for a moment or two he had taken the label off and added ‘Beads’ in the bottom right-hand corner before re-threading it back, turning his focus to the eternal senshi at the front once she addressed the room.

Sessrumnir only caught Maia's glare for a moment before she moved on to do other things, which he returned with a confused look and lifted his hands to rest on his hips. "I guess not," he let out a breath in response to Palatine's comment about his humor, since apparently asking about food he already doubted would be there was somehow a major offense. "Maybe it's because we crashed their party? Who knows," he added with a shrug.

"Name tags, huh? That's new," he grinned, easily brushing off the strange animosity he'd received from the Eternal senshi, and made his way over to the young woman handing them out. "Thanks," he said with a wink at Pomona, picking up two for himself and for Palatine, who was definitely not his friend, but since she happened to be one of the oldest there, it was nice to chat with someone he knew wasn't in high school.

"Mind if I borrow that pen when you're done, uh.... Ch... Chad-ne?" he asked, squinting at the name tag some dark haired senshi. "Ah, damnit... How the hell do you spell Sessrumnir? Whatever, I'll just put Sess," he mumbled, writing the four letters large on his sticker so he could place on the right side of his chest. "Want a pen, Princess?" he asked once he was done and tossed it to Palatine to write her name.

Pharos quickly skittered into the room at being invited in and joined the bunch, giving her name and getting a name tag. She had a little trouble finding the place and just barely made it, but she was there. He waved to Alfheim and then to Zia, not thinking about how the girl couldn't recognize her.

Sheena grinned at Ian when he gave into her prodding, ignoring the not like crowds comment and resuming her signature masking mission.

Maia was use to chibis, but even she was slightly unbalanced by the tiny Chibi Euphrosyne. She fully understood the reason, but he was simple so tiny. Still she also new chibi senshi weren't to be underestimated, so she smiled at him and when Pandora asked if they could talk later she simply nodded. It was a conservation that had been had by many.

"Chaonis," she called out, "up front if you please. I could use your help directing this training session and helping everyone out."

She turned looking the bunch over, reading name tag and recalling names that had been given earlier or that were being given now. "First we will pair everyone up. Remember you partners names as we won't pair up right away."

"Right then," she pointed, "Alfheim (odd) and Chaldene (even) ," continuing to point, "Shangri-La (odd) and Ida (even) , Sessrumnir (odd) and Irene (even), Palantine (odd) and Lassell (even), Pomona (odd) and Athene (even), Columba (odd) and Euphrosyne (even), Pharos (odd) and Phact (even), and lastly Pompeii (odd) and Luxor (even)."

[OOC: Here are the pairs for the first spar. Winner are being rolled for time sake. Second Round it won't matter, so the winners won't be rolled.

EDIT: -___- ... <.< ... most fail roll ever ...
If you won and really believe your player would not win, you can discuss with the other player to override the dice roll.]
PostPosted: Mon Apr 08, 2013 2:41 pm

With his name tag on, why did they need these again? He turned to the taller male and stared for a moment. "Chaldene, not hard to say. And you'd think that it being your name you should look into how to spell it." Rolling his eyes at the other. At least he could spell his name, and say it, with difficulty.

He could understand the others name was difficult. But you'd think with it being your name, or one of your names, you'd learn how to spell it and work to remember it. With how the name felt right, like it belonged, to him he'd looked it up and made sure he could spell and say it right.

His attention went from the green dressed knight to Shenna, for only a moment, his attention was pulled to the red head speaking. So they were being paired up in order to fight, or well the term was spar. So who was it he was paired with...an Alfheim...who was that? Glancing around as if someone would have neon, glowing, flashing sign over their head proclaiming them to be Alfheim. No such luck though.

Having yet to move from where he'd been standing the dark haired senshi slowly did move, finally. A few steps taken to bring him away from the majority of the people here. It seemed that as much as he may want to go home he couldn't now...lovely.

“You don’t know how to spell your name?” Palatine speared Sessrumnir with a look which was clearly meant to impart her absolute disgust in him. “I have so much confidence in your ability to educate future generations,” she added sarcastically.

Name tags weren’t really her thing. She never wore them at work. Didn’t have to. The plaque on her desk tended to do the job rather well, as did the sign on her office door, and generally the people who came to see her were already aware of her name to begin with, whether or not they’d ever met her before. Regardless, she took one of the nametags for herself with an eyeroll in response to the unwanted nickname Sess had labeled her with.

It was demeaning and she did not appreciate it, but she didn’t say anything about it because hell if he would actually listen to her.

“And I thought you were the genius of the family,” she mocked her squire companion as he was summarily corrected by Chaldene, glancing at the kid with about as much interest as she glanced at everyone else.

Ugh, he looked so young.

Well, at least he didn’t look five.

“One of Zeus’s many lovers, isn’t it?” she wondered, catching the pen Sessrumnir had tossed at her so that she could scribble ‘Palatine’ onto her nametag and slap it onto her chest, where it remained lopsided.

“Alright." Pandora slid one of the pads she'd brought into the center of the room. After adjusting it slightly, she straightened and waited for the shuffling and mumbling to die down.

“Maia and I will be giving a brief demonstration, after which you can begin the first exercise.” Turning her head from her fellow members of Order, Pandora nodded her head at Maia. The Senshi took a relaxed, though wide stance, rolling her shoulders back to keep her muscles from tensing prematurely.

Fighting with Maia always meant bruises.

Kaori_luv
Maia nodded to Pandora and waited for her to finish adjusting the mat before turning to her and taking her stance. They had done, this before it was clear. She looked to the other's briefly.

"We are going to keep this short for the obvious reason, but as with your spars, it will be 3 hits to win."

She turned back to Pandora, gave a smirk and motioned for the girl to come at her.

Kaelyndra
The smirk made Pandora cringe, but the Senshi pulled in a tight breath and moved her way forwards. “It may seem counter-intuitive, but stay close to your opponent. There's a lot less force behind a punch that has traveled a few inches than one which has a full arm's length arc of power behind it.” As the distance closed, she quickened her pace, aiming a sharp, open-handed blow for the side of Maia's head.

She followed with a duck, hoping to move to the woman's left side.

Kaori_luv
Maia didn't really attempt to move so much as she kept her stance and allowed Pandora to come at her. The open hand swung at her face did not connect because Maia dropped down and swung out her leg an Pandora's ankles hoping to unbalance her and thinking it would since Pandora essentially ducked with her, though Maia went low to the ground.

It was classic Maia, she often often with her feet, but that didn't mean she couldn't throw a mean punch.

Kaelyndra
Perhaps because of the fact it was classic Maia, the Eternal was good at it. Pandora had retained a few tricks for escaping the move, but this time her balance failed her and she went down. Shoulders upward struck the pad, and Pandora quickly tucked her head in and rolled to the side, away from Maia.

“If you try for something like that,” Pandora breathed as she scrambled back onto her feet. “Try and land your opponent on the pad.” After making sure Maia wasn't going to rush her while she was reorganizing, Pandora turned her eyes to everyone else. “That counts as a hit. So do any unblocked, unhindered strikes to the body. Use only open palms, if you can.”

Kaori_luv
Maia definitely wasn't going to rush Pandora, no instead she let the other senshi give notes and guide the demonstrations. Still this was basically Pandora's spar, since she wouldn't be participating with the other's so Maia wasn't about to go easy on her. Her face was straight and they could easily see she was serious.

Once Pandora reorganized Maia charged this time, heading straight for her, and when it seemed they would collide she sidestepped, brougth her opposite hand around, spinning to hit Pandora in the shoulder.

Kaelyndra
Maia was all about fancy footwork. Pandora took a risk, and assumed Maia was going to pull a bluff, eyes on the woman's feet the whole time. When the Eternal made to spin, Pandora pulled an elbow across her body, to strike Maia in the sternum even as her shoulder was tagged.

“One hit for each of us!” she breathed out, moving with the spin and aiming a follow-up kick to Maia's newly exposed side. “Keep your elbows in!”

Kaori_luv
Maia frowned at being hit, but it was just one hit, to Maia's two on Pandora. She did feel slightly proud at Pandora's quick recovery and the spin kick, which Maia was sure she used before. Maia, however, took a page out of Chaonis' book ( a move he once used on her) and caught the foot before it made it to it target.

She flashed Pandora a grin before flipping the girl in one quick motion. "Three hits for me and I've won this round, but Pandora put up an excellent fight," she said extending a hand to help Pandora up.

"Now everyone, find your partner. We will go one round, switch up the pair, go another round and end for the night."

Kaelyndra
