He looks towards Uki as he brings himself before Thanatos. Raising his eyebrow only slightly as he listens to Uki spit out his venom in frustration he merely closes his eyes before chuckling softly to himself. "The great Thanatos? You make me seem like something greater than I am. I am no more than anything I represent. There may have been a time when I was a ruthless warrior hell bent on spreading the Darkness throughout the land, but that was long ago when the nations were at war with one another. Now we have peace and through it this Academy upon which we now stand. The culmination of many labors and many sacrifices but it's the fruits that this place bears that makes it all worth it."
He looks towards his younger brother once more. "Come... There's an orientation coming up that I think you should attend. It will help to explain this Academy better and help those new to it to settle in better. I do believe that it's time so I'll be making my way to the Arena." He turns as he starts to walk back inside leaving Uki to follow him.

Seeing Rachel twitch made him luagh. He just smiled and politely said to her "Your rather silly. If you think that a violation I can do alot more then that with sound." He shrugged his shoulders again as if to signal the changing of a song and a song emitted from him.

A partial grin unknowingly took its place across Shinta's face at the comment made by Thanatos. He then nodded to Uki, and followed behing Alestial as she lead the few new students on a tour of the grounds. He grace was astounding, but for now he turned his complete attention the explainations she gave about the academy.
When they came to the arena, he stopped as they continued onwards. It flashed a few unpleasant memories into his mind. A gentle sigh escaped from him as he made his way into the center of the arena. Once at the center; he inhaled, exhaled, raised his left arm so that his left palm face upward just under his belly button, and raised his right hand so that it face downward towards his left with about half a feet between them.
At the center between his palms a light flickered, and swirled in evenly with a shadowy cloud. The two elements then took the shape of what looked like two koi fish. They chased each other's tails in harmony; getting closer, until they both clamped together. At this point his body seemed to glow, but what appeared to be pitch-black steam raised from his body. The ground underneath him rumbled and rocks raised. The rotating elements then swirled with each other, mixing into an orb that continued growing in size until it began to shrink. He brought his hands together until the orb disappeard. He took a deep breath, opened his eyes, and looked up at the clouds.
Thanatos had caught onto the fact that he was a fire user, and no doubt realized the presence of the darkness in his heart. This, however; was something that he wished to keep to himself. The history of darkness in his family, was a painful memory of his past. After his mother lost herself to the darkess in her heart, Shinta knew how dangerous, and destructive it coulld be.

He steps forward into the Arena as he could only hope that Uki followed behind him. He can already feel a slight disturbance in the air as he stops at the entrance from one of the tunnels within the mountainside as it leads out into the coliseum type seating that overlook the Arena floor. Shifting his eyes he pinpoints the traces of darkness he picked up on back to Shinta as he approaches him from behind placing his hand upon his shoulder as he looks down to him before leaning down some to whisper. "Rest now... You are home and you are safe. There is nothing here that can harm you and nothing that will make you hurt." The darkness spoke in waves to him as he could feel the pain coming from within Shinta's heart as he nods his head. "Those demons cannot enter here unless you let them." He points to his chest around his heart before letting go of Shinta's shoulder as he raises back moving passed him as his cloak trails behind him.
He steps up to the edge of the seating leaping out into the air as his cloak billows in the wind as he lands upon the sanded and stone grounds of the Arena floor. He turns as he looks back up towards Alestial and the gathering of students prepared to give them their orientation. "I am very pleased to see such a great group of students here before me. I know that each of you hail from different backgrounds, different origins, different elements even. But you all share one thing in common. The desire to learn and to grow within those elements and this is the right place to have come to. We here at the Elemental Academy pride ourselves on our connections to our students and faculty.
We look to have dedication to each of you so that your time spent here and the experiences from that are rich and fulfilling. We take it upon ourselves as a staff and as a student body to not overlook any student and to provide assistance to all. You will all be housed accordingly to your elements as each house specializes in a specific element. There you will find shelter and comfort in your learning environment. The land of Euphoria is your oyster but beware because there does lie within hidden dangers. Some apparent and some you'd never see coming until it's too late. Although no one is restricted to where they go upon these lands it is best to use caution as we wouldn't want any casualties to befall any of you.
I hope to see each of you climb to the top and go even further beyond. I want you each to set a goal and do your best every single day to achieve that and once you have that goal don't settle there. Go for another. Live life and don't let it control you. Take every chance you can and go for it and you never know. I may be looking upon one of you as a God or Goddess of an element one day.
Now you will find that the Academy itself lies within the center of Euphoria and it is said that here is where the greatest concentration and connection to each element lay upon this ancient battle ground that so many elementalists before you fought upon and gave their lives to. You are free to come down here into the Arena as you wish and test your elemental prowess against anyone of your choosing. Just don't get too cocky. It's not the win but what you learn from it. So why not come down here and give it a go? I know that some of you are already itching to stretch out your elemental legs so to speak."
He spreads out his arms as his cloak flutters back as he moves his arms and hands in motions for them to come as they please down onto the Arena floor.

Alestial looks around to the students as they all take in the environment and were off on their owns. It seemed no one had any questions for her. Her eyes glance over towards Shinta as he creates the mixture of fire and darkness in the center.
She knows very well how the Darkness can overcome a person, especially one who was born with the gift of it. She has no gift in the Darkness and yet it still consumes her slowly, but returning to the school will hopefully help her qualm the Darkness from taking over her.
Soon Thanatos arrives and goes to the center to begin the orientation, she smiles gently as she goes to take a seat and let him handle the introductions now, although she's a Goddess, her presence isn't as demanding or intimidating as Thanatos and she tends to get over looked.
She listens carefully to what he says, but at the same time looks over all the students to see how many pay attention and who are the ones that though. Hopefully someone takes the offer to fight in the arena, Alestial is very anxious to see what new talent and old skills have been brought into these wonderful school grounds.
When Thanatos finish his speech she stands up and speaks up from behind the students to add in something else,
"Welcome Home, and no matter what may happen in the future, this will always be your homes."

Shinta had found comfort in Thanatos's message, and from that smiled gently as he nodded. Having already been front, and center in the arena as Thanatos began his presentation; Shinta realized there was no use in going up in the stands now. He listened attentively to the speech he gave, but what he said last was what really caught his attention. His eyebrow raised at the thought. Although he had released his dormant powers long ago, they had not been physically tested. He wondered how the trials he went through would fair in actual combat. After Thanatos finished speaking, Shinta figured no one better to spar with than Thanatos himself. So he stepped towards Thanatos, and bowed towards him. An excited grin took its place on his face as he said, "it would be my honor if you would engage in combat practice with me." He awaited anxiously for Thanatos's answer, and began envisionig what manner Thanatos might use his element. Each elemental user uses their elements according to their personality, so in exchanging blows through elements; you can initially better understand their personality.

After finishing with his presentation to the new students his eyes carefully scan the crowd for anyone that was going to show their interest. Although it was not a direct challenge, the challenge itself was still ever present in the fact that this was a practice session and anyone and everyone was welcome to join in the fray. Spying Shinta moving from the stands to the Arena floor and since he was by himself could only mean two things; either he was going to take him up on the offer or going to inquire more given that he had soothed over his earlier bout of darkness.
Listening to him respectfully answer the call and challenge him directly back was a bit of a surprise as he could only smile softly bowing his head slightly out of respect. "I shall accept your noble request. It's not everyday any longer that someone just comes up and wants to battle with me." He starts to loosen himself up stretching out his arms clad with a black long sleeve shirt that's very form fitting showing off an athletic build underneath as he also rotates out his arms at the shoulders bending his elbows in. When he's finished he allows his cloak to settle over his form once more as he extends out his one arm turning his hand to face palm up as he then motions with his fingers towards Shinta. "By all means then. Show me what you can do."

Shinta smiled and nodded before replying, "Osu!" After that, he feet seemed to flicker; the rest of him doing so right after. Within an instant he was within arms reach of Thanatos. While he flashed towards him, he simultaniously drew power from the core of the earth beneath them, causing molten lava to burst from Thanatos's right. At this same moment he held his left hand in front of his face, with his palm facing Thanatos, and flashed an instant blinding light. While this light was emitted he thrusted his right index, and middle finger to a point just above the left side of Thanatos's pelvis which would paralyze his left leg if it connected. Shinta had no intentions of going easy. He would fight as if his life were on the line, considering he was facing a god. (( Next reply wont be until i get off in an hour ))

Rachel blinked at the male infront of her, going on about things he could do with sound. Was she just hit on by a man with a violin...? Her pointed ears would twitch and turn red, as her nose crinkled up. Creeper over here... she thought to herself and then watched him turn away.
The redhead walked with her hands behind her head, looking over the various surroundings, listening to Thanatos yammer on about something. Blah, blah blah, yappiity yap, more blah. More blah, hm?
Her blue eyes glanced over to Thanatos and Alestial, the two of them having welcomed the group. Though, from the looks of it, there wasn't much of a group. Rachel's pointed ears gave a sharp twitch and her attention was glued on the first ego to step into the arena. Figuring as much, she washed over the group with a quick glance, seeing everyone glued to the spar. She knew it wouldn't be long anyways.
Taking a step back, the redhead then turned on her heel and ducked out of the arena. As much as she loved a good fight, it was the farthest thing from her mind at the moment.
Stepping onto cobble stone road, the woman took in a long, deep breath and exhaled slowly, a small smile creeping across her face.
Had it been so long? To feel the crisp air brush across her face, the smell of sea, fire, and earth brush under her nose. It had been so long since she hadn't felt like a prisoner of her own skin.
With a small chuckle, Rachel began a stroll down the road. Wandering away in her thoughts.

He watches with great interest as Shinta appears to flicker before him instantly teleporting himself from one spot to another in front of him as he's already closed the gap between them, at least distance wise. His senses detected a sudden influx of power emitting from Shinta as he could tell he was already taking this spar seriously which he expected no less from him. His eyes shift over to the erupting tower of lava that spews up from the ground averting his attention for not even a second as the flash of light is to follow. He brings his cloak up to shield his eyes from the blinding light concealing himself as Shinta moves in for the first strike as his finger jabs through the fabric of his cloak, the cloak itself giving way to his force as it folds inwards towards it's target. However, his finger wouldn't connect with anything as he'd travel right through his cloak coming out on the other side as he now stands behind Shinta his cloak wrapping back around his form as he lowers his arm back down to his side. "Good. You're already attacking with your fire element and using it to your advantage to both distract and confuse your opponent." A small smile crosses over his lips as he looks out towards Shinta. "But I know that you've got more within you so come at me again if you feel like it. I await to see what all you can do. (Take your time.)

Alestial sits back and watches as Shinta challenges Thanatos, she smiles brightly at that. It's good to see a student wanting to test his skills right off the bat.
She sees the fire moves that Shinta is using and how he is using them and is pretty impressed by what she sees, fire users always caught her interest. She was however, kind of hoping the other students would step in a challenge each other, that way they can see where everyone else lied.
Her violet eyes glance over all the students that were present as they sat to watch the fight that was taking place, she then noticed a head of red hair get up from her spot and wondered off, she was wondering where this girl was going and it wasn't that she couldn't leave but no one had been assigned their rooms yet.
Alestial puts her hands together as they begin to glow white, she opens her hand and a tiny white fairy is standing in her palm, she brings it close to her and whispers,
"Go follow the student with the red hair, that way if we need her we'll be able to get her quickly."
The little fairy nods and flies off leaving a small trail of what seemed like pixie dust but was actually little puffs of snow.
Alestial smiles as the little fairy flies off and then puts her attention back on the fight to see how it plays out.

Shinta grinned at the display of ability from Thanatos, but as the lava launched into the air; it did not fall to the ground. Instead, Shinta narrowed his eyes, and it took the shape of a dragon. Immediately it launched towards Thanatos; bearing its molten fangs. As it leaped to chomp at his shoulder from his right, Shinta flashed behind Thanatos, throwing a chop with his left hand to the right side of his neck. While he did this, he stomp with his left foot, releasing a bursting wave of white flames.

Watching the battle ensue he decides it would be best to intervene when the time is right. he see the elfling start to disappear. He decided to follow silently so he dissipated the sound around his feet and breathe. Once outside the arena he suddenly amplified the sound to that of a giants foots steps. "Fe fi fo fum, look whom I have found running from fun". He stood their with a smile and noticed a little fairy wiz by him towards her.

A man walked through the large gates leading to the academy. He had a simple bag on his back. He wore clothes definitely not from this region and he seemed to be well kind of dirty from travailing so long. He wore a weird pair of gauntlets that seemed to be made of stone which would suggest he was of the Earth affinity. The man's name was Ren he he hailed from distant lands. He came here to find a place to belong. He knew this place was a magical realm where much happened and many thrived. He figured this would be the best place to learn to be someone better.
Ren walked a bit more before he found a small group of trees that made a good shaded area and he smiled. " Finally some shade. Been traveling to long in the heat." He said as he sat down under the tree and looked around. This place was huge he felt so small compared to the vastness of the whole academy. Soon he would have to go to the Earth Castle like instructed to find a room for him to sleep. That wasn't going to be till later though. Ren wondered if he would meet some people like him soon.

As she watches the fight unfold, she couldn't help but be impressed by what she was seeing. She notices that another student was leaving and following after the red headed girl.
She gave a small sigh as she was kind of hoping everyone would stay together that way it'd be easier to send everyone to their assigned room.
She just decides to let them be, they weren't children after all, and as long as she could find them later that's all that really matters at this point.
Soon, she felt as someone new enter the grounds of the Academy as she stands up from her seat and glances towards that direction. It'd be rude to leave someone new alone so it's best to welcome them in.
She glances back towards the fight before she vanishes leaving a small puff of snow where she was at. Soon she would form near the gates and looks around for the new student that had arrived.
