Blue stood up in a flash, she sensed something wrong with the aura.
"Finis....it's......that person has a gun..."
She whispered, her eyes widened, starting to actually glow as she turned her head.
She looked in the direction of the aura and stepped backwards, almost falling into the river, but showing her nervous feelings only to warn the others.
"Finis, that aura isn't a native....he doesn't belong...now is the time to prepare for attack...."
Blue stated calmly and quietly.
Only she wasn't calm.
Her voice had been shaking ever so slightly that it was barely noticable.

What seemed to be in one shift movement, Finis faced himself to the threat, in the way of Blue to protect her, and took out a broadsword concealed in the back on his robe. Finis took his stance ready for the first attack. "Blue... I'll do everything in my power to keep you unharmed. And Blue... you don't have to worry, our kind doesn't really die so easy. If sure you knew the whole time that... I'm half angel..."

Three threats... one major... two secondary...
He raised his M14 Suppressed rifle and fired off a hammer pair of shots at Finis... ZIP ZIP... then aimed at the other two targets... ZIP ZIP ZIP... ZIP...
He aimed back at the first target he fired at... and was surprised at what he had done... so aimed in again, about to pull the trigger.

Finis casually sliced the fired shots at him. Finis didn't seem to be worried at all, as he readies his stance for the next attack.

Fletcher paid Finis no mind as he reacted hostilely toward a simple stirring of the lake's water. So jumpy. He mentally remarked.
He felt the presence of a man with a gun about fifty yards away, but elected to do nothing about it despite how worked up Blue and Finis got over him. Then he foresaw the man firing shots at them. Well, Finis can protect Blue if his strong aura is anything to go by, and I'm perfectly well equipped to defend both myself and Adara. The water went completely calm when the shots were fired. The bullets fired at himself and Adara froze in mid-air approximately five feet away from them before dropping harmlessly to the ground.
The seer found that he was correct in assuming that Finis was indeed capable of defending Blue, there was no satisfaction in being proven right just contentment. Good thing he doesn't suck at life... half-angel...

What the hell---
His shots fired were all deflected or just stopped. Aiming in an additional second, he froze, then, ZIP ZIP ZIP... ZIP ZIP ZIP... He fired off two bursts at Finis, hoping he couldn't block them all, as he did so he simultaneously pulled a grenade and then chucked it at the other two, before raising his rifle again, and firing another burst into Finis' direction. Hoping any of the rounds he fired had hit.
(rp note, since he stood up and fired, about ten or so seconds have gone by... or thats about how much time I had pictured.)

Blue had froze for a moment, but then glared, took a step forward almost in range of the bullets.
"Blue Mist Storm"
She chanted, now visible she was holding her petals.
Three, but when she blew them out towards the threat and they seemed to split and make a tornadow of blue petals, glowing as her eyes were.
The shots were absorbed into the storm and she stepped back, satisfied.

Hearing Blue chanting, he went behind Blue to get out of the way of her attack. "Are you sure you want to use up some of your Blue Roses to defend me? I should have it covered."

Fletcher watched as the sniper took more shots at Finis before noticing a small, round projectile get tossed in his and Adara's direction. So troublesome. He mentally noted after foreseeing the destructive capability of the projectile. The seer was half-tempted to send it back to the sniper but instead settled with breaking it down to its base components, thus making it harmless.
He noticed the activation of Blue's powers and was once again very fascinated by it, though he gave no outward reaction to show his fascination. Another interesting little trick, however wasted on protecting a half-angel that is fully able to protect himself. Show-off. Fletcher remarked inwardly in a flat tone.

Blue glanced towards Fletcher and shook her head.
"I can hear thoughts by the way.
I am not showing off nor defending."
She smiled softly at Finis and then glared at the sniper before throwing a glowing petal that transformed into a dagger at him.
"Stupid.
I rather not deal with idiots like him, but he should know by now, it is useless to attack."
Blue commented and sat on the bank again, slipped off her dress, reveiling she had a bathing suit under it, and dove into a deeper part of the lake to swim.
"Hehe...nice and cold..."
She said happily.
"Oh, and FLetcher, I am half angel as well.
I can protect myself if needed."
She called out.

What?!?... how is nothing working,... even the... oh cra--...
Every shot he fired... even the grenade... did nothing... nothing at all.... ...
He kept firing but each round just dissipated somehow... his mag ran dry and he began to back up slowly as he reloaded but as he dropped the magazine from the gun-- ZLIP....
He fell over, with a shard looking projectile in his upper shoulder/neck...
"AGH!!.... ah ..." He fell over, grabbing his shoulder and now frantically trying to get up again... but the panicking didn't help... and he began to crawl away... or tried to, but the rapid bleeding didn't help... and was then dead.

Finis smiles back at Blue, with a very faint blush. Finis watches Blue take her dress off and going into the lake, but quickly turns hearing a shot being fire seeing the enemy fall down. Finis turns back to Blue as he sheathes his sword and sits down on the lake's edge.

Adara watches eveything that happens, the bullets, Fletcher stopping some of them, the grenade, the girl showing her power, the both of the two others revealing they are half-angels
she watches it all calmly, and smiles slightly at Fletcher stopping the bullets aimed at her, she thinks to herself that she could have defended herself without assistance, but wasn't upset over his aid
"My my...ist this not abit of a nusiance..."
pray tell..why didst that man target three of us only?

Blue had swam over and looked at the man from the edge of the lake.
She looked confused but then glanced at Finis.
"Why are you here?"
She asked, voice calm and flowing like the river as her eyes glowed bright blue.

"Why am I here? I guess I want to stay with you. I feel somehow pulled to you. Could it be due to the fact we're both half angels? You also seem to enjoy swimming," echoed in Blue's mind. Finis also smiles warmly to Blue, but not sure why.
