Uhm. Tassa. [Tax, duty - Italian]

The base is the verb hyggja, meaning "to think; believe". The prefix, á-, means, in this context, "about", so sticking that on gets you áhyggja, "to be concerned" (literally 'to think about') + yfir, "above" + bragð, "moment" + the definite neutral article "hitt" (affixed as just '-it').
So, roughly translated, "a moment in which (one) is concerned". Norse languages have a tendency to put words together in the same fashion that English does with words like "zookeeper", "semi-circle" or "information center", but without any intervening punctuation or spaces. Thus, á/hyggju/yfir/bragð/it. According to the Old Icelandic pronunciation, that would be pronounced vaguely similar to "ah-hüg-gyoo-ü-feer-brahchth-iht", or, if you can read IPA, /ˈɑːhyg.gjuˌyfiːɾbɾaxðɪt/. ;p

And that's alright. I'm just picky about things like that. Practice much and you'll be able to keep them both in your head at the same time. ;3
