Vengence For the Fallen ((Open))

Re'nah turned to face Hunter and gave him a simple shrug. "Im not quite sure if I pissed it off, it looks like its the type of creature that was born from only that emotion, that and hunger while i was hunting for food it was probably hunting us." she assumed staring at the behemoth. "well, looks like we killed it first, so i guess i could say my hunt was sucessful...though i think next time i'll try to bring in stuff a little less, big...and dangerous." she said jokeingly and walked over to the side of the creature and started cutting away peices of meat that looked edible enough. "Someone get a fire started so we can cook up these peices, Hunter is right dont want to take any chances with this stuff."

Sierra stared at the worm thinking that she would rather eat dirt... She shrugged and stuck her sword point first in the ground leaving it there as she gathered the black pieces of wood that had been shattered during the fight and compiled them in one place. From her pack she took to flint rocks and hit them together til there was a spark and a fire began to burn, she poked at it a little til it was bigger. From more firmer sticks she made a sort of tri-pod they could use to stick the worm meat on to cook. She stood when she was finished, "There. That should work." She glanced at Re'nah then went over to her sword and picked it up so she could clean it of worm blood.

((the thought of eating worm just makes ya hungry don't it? ninja ))

Dante

Dante blinked slightly, watching as Sierra made a fire for a moment before he turned his eyes back to Re'nah.
"Cooking it is a great idea..." Dante said, glancing at the Worm. "I do not know exactly how i feel about eating it... But considering the fact that you are right, and we may not find anything else for some time..." He trailed off there as his eyes wandered to the flickering fire.
Maybe it is a good idea... He finished silently.

Between blowing a hole out of a stadium and knocking off the jaw of a giant worm, Hunter expected to be somewhat exhausted but for some reason he wasn't feeling 100% maybe about 80%. So he decided not to let anyone know right now considering what had just happened.

"You know you could've just saved yourself the work and just piled the wood and had me light it you know " Hunter said with a smile
and a quick flourish of his right hand to show a small flame, "No big though. Heh, I knew cutting off a piece of him would be handy. Anybody want some?"

With that he took the hunk of tail that he had cut off and stabbed it with his sword before sticking it over the fire to cook.

"So, now what?" He asked leaning with his arms crossed and back against a tree by the fire keeping an eye on the cooking meat.

Sierra just glared over in Hunters direction, "I suppose if you want to be lazy about it. But I prefer doing certain things my way." As she spoke she took a slice that Re'nah had cut off and cooked it til it looked done and started eating it. She spit out the first piece and wrinkled her face in disgust, it was a few moments before she forced herself to eat a couple more bites.

Sierra had stopped eating before she was halfway through the meat and was randomly staring/glaring at the ground. She set down the meat back down unable to eat anymore. "If I have to eat anymore of this the taste alone is going to make me sick." She sighed and sat around watching to see what the others would think of the worm.

Re'nah put her peice of worm closer to the coals and let it char a little before she even tried to put it in her mouth. "I wish i had some of mothers spices and herbs to cover up the taste..." she said and picked the piece up and sniffed it before taking a bite out of it chewing carefully and wrikling her nose but continued to eat it anyway. "Better then raw scarab." she said optomistically.

Dante

Dante took his blade from his hip and cut a piece of meat from the Worm, before walking over to the fire and positioning his blade over it so the meat was able to cook for a little while.
He watched the others' reactions, his eyes flicking to the chunk of meat on his blade for a moment.
We are not eating that... He heard Nero hiss from the back of his mind.
"It's better than nothing, Nero..." He whispered quietly.

With Bellies full of disgusting worm meat and a nights rest the group travelled on far past sunrise untill the outline of a village began to take shape, as they approched and the Village became larger and larger untill they were standing outside of it.

Re'nah stared at the village with dissapointment, but she had suspected as much. It was a ghost town, nothing more. the Buildings were ruined and the roads were cracked with large rocks blocking a few of them. "Wonderful...well lets look around, see if we can find anything of use." she said making her way towards one of the larger buildings.

In one of the ruined building the silver dragon from before was laying against a wall, his body was covered in cuts and bruises and a puddle of blood covered the floor. He could here a group nearby and tried what he could to summon one of his elemental weapons, but it only materialized halfway before it faded back into its original form. What was he thinking? He could barely even move what makes him think he could summon a weapon? The dragon looked around for anything to defend himself with, but the only thing in reach was a bloody dagger that had struck him in his back. He slowly reached over to grab it, but he reached too far and he fell over onto his side. "That traitor will pay for this..." he thought as he pushed himself back up to sit against the wall.

Sierra walked to the middle of the road and looked around the deserted village. "I think I'll look around in the buildings." She turned towards a door, "And see if I can find any decent food we can eat." She wrinkled her nose a little, "And some drink that would wash away the taste of worm." She spat at the ground and walked went to open a door only for the door to break come apart and lean awkwardly against the wall.

Hunter shrugged and looked around the town.

"Could be worse," He said slightly weaker than normal, his stomach was still in a couple knots from the worm and thanks to whatever the poison had done and was doing to his stomach he didn't sleep well last night and was still waking up, "We could be walking into a town over run with guards, or worse..."

He stopped looking around and turned towards one of the buildings, "Anyone else hear something?" He asked, tensing up

By that point Sierra had already walked into one of the buildings, she was looking around inside and her voice could be heard coming out in response. "Unless you mean the creak of the buildings, then no I don't." As she spoke she looked around the house and was a bit puzzled, no furniture was out of place, or turned over, no signs of struggle, nothing, it was as though the residents had just up an left. She shrugged then turned to walk towards the door that had broken when she opened it. "You didn't make yourself paranoid did you?" Her voice got louder and she stopped in the door way to look over at Hunter, "Talking of guards hiding in the village, or whatever it was you said." She had only heard part of what he said, she walked up to where he was and looked at him, in her opinion he didn't really look all that great, but she just shrugged. "Was it this building you heard the noise? Well let's go check it out, would you like to go first or shall I?" She grinned.

The dragon heard familiar voices nearby, one of them being Sierra, Oh gods... My mind must be playing tricks on me. False hope... he thought, at that moment he coughed out a small bit of blood. He turned his head to see where the voices came from and saw some shadows from under the door, There is no way it could be them... they must be far away from here... he thought coughing up more blood. The dragon kept his head toward the door, watching as the shadows moved back and forth. He turned away for a moment to look down at his injuries, his body was still bleeding, but not as bad as it was before, that was a good sign, it meant that his body was healing, but the broken bones wont be able to heal until about a week and that still wont be enough for him to fight.

((i forgot to put in the last post that his armor is thrown across the room, sorry -.-))

Sierra stopped when she also heard something coming from the building and she turned to face it, "Perhaps you are not imagining things after all." She looked towards the building and slowly approached the door holding her sword at the ready and waited for Hunter to join her before continuing.

Re'nah stopped when the others talked about hearing nosies her ears twisted and turned and she made her way behind the building they had entered and shifted into her small jackal form and trotted around a little sniffing the ground untill she came to a hole that entered directly into the room the dragon was in. she lowered herself a little and approched slowly but made sure he could see her and know she didn't mean him any harm.

Once she was int he room she shifted back to her Humanoid form but said on all fours. She seemed to remember him from somewhere but her memories from when she went feral were still blurred. "Are you alright?" she asked, she noticed that he seemed to be a little tense and he was bad;y wonded. "It's okay your among friends." She said hoping to calm him.
