Kamui looked over to Kai and then nodded. "Yes, lets walk" he said to Onyx with a smile. He headed for the door and patted his brothers shoulder before opening the door for Onyx.
Kai looked around the room as Kamui and Onyx exited. He couldnt help but note the hostility that seemed to be coming from everyone. He coughed, "So I was thinking we would talk this out a bit with everyone, then Kitty would you leave? After that it would be the three of us, then I would go" he looked at Isabella with a soft smile. "I think there are some things that need to be talked over just the two of you. I mean I dont remember much from before but you do and I think you need to fully share your side without any interuptions from anyone" Kai smiled at all of them. "So ladies can we all sit?"
Kitty opened her mouth to object about her leaving but she stopped and hung her head. "After I go... and then you... can we talk?" she asked Kai softly.
Kai nodded and laughed, "Of course I had hoped you would" he added as he sat down at a table.
Lillith watched as Kitty slowly walked over to the table and sat down with her brother. She looked to Isabella sadly, she wanted this all to work... but was it to late? She no longer needed a gardian, she was her own person! But there was no deniying it, these people infront of her they were her parents. For so many years she wanted them to be by her side, then simply gave up hope. How can one just take it all back? She shrugged lightly as she followed Kitty to the table, sitting gingerly she looked around at everyone. "So where do we start?" she asked softly.

Isabella sat with her hands folded in her lap. She was not completely okay with everything, but she would go along with it if it solved all the problems. Though she did find it interesting that Kai thought he did nothing yet here he was trying to mend fences. She shrugged.
"I am not sure where to begin or if there is even a proper beginning for these types of things. Perhaps since this is Kai's show, he should begin." She wasn't even sure what was the beginning anymore. There was so many different things going on that it was hard to chose just one place to start.

Kai gulped as all eyes turned to him. He coughed again as his eyes fell to the table. "Umm well... So I guess since everyone here has something to say.. I'll just tell my side of the story" he leaned back in the chair and sighed. "So I dont remember much from before coming back..." he looked over to Lillith. "But I know that I had a family that was my life! I had a son and a daughter who I would have done anything for and the best damned wife in the world!" He smiled at Isabella. "I guess I always had kind of a shitty family life... no offence Kitty" he said noding to his sister. "So having the full wife and kids thing was what I drempt of, what I still dream of. And I had that... and somehow blew it" Kai sighed as he shook his head. "I dont remember exactly what happened but my father called me.." his eyes shot to Kitty, "Is that b*****d dead yet?!" There was almost a happieness to his voice as the question spilled out of him.
Kitty sat silently but shook her head no at the question.
Kai sighed "Damn thought maybe I caught a break" he shrugged. "Anyway... your grandfather" he looked to Lillith, "Whom I hope you never have to meet, called me and said he needed a favor. He never speaks to anyone unless he has to so I though maybe he was dieing or something fun like that, but instead I got there and Kamui was also with him. I remember the confusion, rage and then panic..." Kai looked at Isabella at this point. "I know it was stupid for me to have gone I dont know what I was thinking, but after that I dont remember anything of that life. I came to and I was with Kamui but we didnt even know our names. We made fake ones, and by this point there was only one contenent, there were alot of little kids without families and we felt like those poor kids lost and without anyone. So we made a home for the kids and ourselves. As we stayed with them things slowly started to come back" He laughed softly. "I remember watching the news one day and you were making some announcment. I was so happy to see you! And I couldnt explain why, but I knew I needed you and I needed the feelings from before back... And I guess that has brought us here..." He laughed as he looked to Kitty. "Your turn?"
Kitty gulped softly as she looked around. Her eyes stopped on Isabella. "Well... I have been in this bar for far to long" Kitty started off slowly. "I had a daughter, she died, and it broke me. I wanted to break away from the world and everyone knew it. I sulked my life away untill both of my brothers seemed to be happy. Both Kamui and Onyx and you two had children around the same time. You were happy and content with your lives.... and once again I was all alone!" she hung her head as fresh tears ran down her face. "I hated you all! But... but I also hated myself for hating you. Then you just vanished!" she looked at the couple. "Do you think you were the only ones hurting?" she asked sadly. "Onyx and you just kept on searching, but I felt so left in the dark with nothing to do but sit and worry. Then... Then Lillith showed up, on my doorsteps. She seemed frantic, she was crying and I couldnt turn her away. I didnt know why she was here but I took her in and let her stay. I didnt feel as alone... but it was still a tough spot. I knew I couldnt get attached, so all these years I have kept her at arms lengh" She looked over to Lillith. "Im so sorry... But I knew this day would come and I couldnt let another person I saw as my daughter be taken from me" She reached her hand out to Lillith but pulled it back quickly as the young woman moved further from her.

He will be if Onyx finds out he had anything to do with Kamui's disappearance, she thought to herself as she listened to Kai. She felt her heart race faster when he spoke of how he felt when he met his father. It did break her heart to know that Kitty felt like she was alone. She once tried to get the woman to come back into the fold but that ended badly. She ran her fingers through her hair when she heard that Kitty kept the girl at arms length.
"Okay, I guess it is my turn. Things were....fine in my world. I still didn't like certain things, didn't like how you, kitty, were outside the loop. I never liked that. But my world was great with Kai and you kids...Then, one morning I woke up and....Kai was gone. Not a big surprise, but as the day came to an end...he didn't return. I called Onyx and found Kamui was also missing. To say I was frantic was an understatement. We tried for months to find Kai and Kamui, so caught up in doing that, managing the two countries and the kids that we, admittedly, left you Kitty out of the loop. Unintentional, I am sorry for that." She paused and took a deep breath for what she had to say next.
"A year passed and by then Onyx and I had a routine of letting the kids play together and be together. They grew up fine, happy, playful and well rounded. We did all we could to make sure we kept Kai and Kamui alive in their hearts so that they would know their father for when they returned....It was a good life for a while...Till things got too hectic in Dargieon and I took on an adviser, Micheal.
He worked out great. He knew the things he had to and he helped me manage things. Onyx was against him. But I ignored it till one day when we were having tea and the kids were playing....things took a turn for the worst. He came and started yelling, saying how it was his time to rule. Blah blah blah. It was...fine till he turned dangerous. He attacked and with the kids so close, we really couldn't fight with our all because the broken bonds left our powers...raw and slightly out of control. The only things we could do....was to...protect the kids. So...." She paused again, gripping the edge of the seat as she remembered that day. She hated that day.
"So....Onyx opened a portal to Kitty's bar, knowing that no matter what Kitty was the only person we completely trusted with the kids. The one person who could take care of them. I rushed to them and shoved them into the portal. I thought that they were safe. I knew Onyx, no matter what state, would never endanger the children. That is how you came to be with Kitty. Aryeh and Kane....well lets just say Aryeh has my time powers and he sent himself and Kane to the future...this future to be precise." She ended, still feeling raw and cut open. She never wanted to remember that day. She looked at Kitty and shook her head.
"I can never begin to express how much I appreciate you taking her in. I understand that you say you kept her at arms length, but in my heart I know you still see her as a surrogate daughter. I would have never taken her from you Kitty. I never wanted you outside the family to begin with. I wanted you in their life since the moment I knew I was pregnant. Mind you the way I came about it back then may not have been the best, but Kitty....I don't like families divided. That doesn't mean I plan on being friends with your father...but I do and have always wanted you apart of the family, part of this family." She said this in an almost urgent tone. She always wanted Kitty in the family. Not on the out skirts.

Kai gently rubbed Isabella's shoulder as she spoke. It was obvious the emotional toll this event had taken on everyone. He looked over to Kitty and saw the fresh tears.
Kitty nodded slowly at Isabella's words, "Thank you" she replied softly still not looking at her.
Lillith sat silently she didnt know what to do or say but as Isabella finished she knew she had to tell her side of events. She slowly looked from each person to the next. Then sighed, "So I remember when dad left" she said softly. "I dont remember details but I do remember that after that you were never the same" her eyes were locked onto Isabella. "It was bad enough dealing with a parent who was just gone but then a depressed mother who buried herself so far into work she brought in a new father into our lives" Her tone was sad as she looked down at the floor. "He tried to take over literaly. And all I remember was the fighting then being pushed away with Aryeh and Kane... then they were gone, everyone was gone and I was on the doorstep here. Kitty let me in gave me a room and left me" she glared over at Kitty. "This buisness has always been first. Im not a daughter to her... just an employee" Lillith sighed and shook her head. "But I knew even when I was young why you did it. Im not mad because even though you never treated me like a mother would have you were always there for me, you gave me a place to stay" she laughed softly. "And put up with my bullshit"

It broke her heart to hear Lillith talk. She had been in her own world, but she had tried to let the children not feel it. She guessed that never worked out the best way.
Isabella wasn't sure what to say next, so she kinda fell silent. She smiled a bit at Kai.

Kai sighed softly, atleast everything was now out there. He looked over to Kitty and nodded slowly.
Kitty knew her que she stood slowly and walked to the stairs.
Once Kitty was fully out of sight Kai turned back to the two ladies at the table. He sat still for a moment still unsure as to what he should do next. Scratching his head he sighed again. "I know that things can never go back. You have grown up, grown up in so much heartbreak and for that Im sorry, but if you want it Id love you have you back in my life, and Im sure your mother feels the same"

Isabella watched Kitty walk out of the room. She looked at the girl who once had been so young the last time she had saw her. It broke her heart that she couldn't have seen her grow up at all.
"Of course I feel that same. I did and will always love you. That is never going to change. It never did. I understand you feel that I abandoned you, but I had to protect you some how and that was the only way I could. I am sorry that it hurt you and I wish things were different, that there was another choice." She left that hang, because she knew in her heart that she would do it all over again. She wouldn't change a thing because she never wanted to know how Micheal would have treated them. She would never risk their lives. She rather suffer the pain of having a child grow up with another person then see her kids in danger.

Lillith watched the two, she listened as they apologized and talked on about how much they cared. She wanted to believe them, to believe that things could go back and they would be happy again. "I dont know" she said softly again. "The boys... they have a fresh start. They havent had to be around these last 300 years" Sighing Lilllith shook her head. "I just dont see how this could work... I mean I was saving to leave this place. To move in with the parents Ive just found out about seems to be a step backwards" Lillith was softly rambling to herself as she began to chew her thumb nail.

Isabella mentally rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to beg for the girl to come stay with them. Lillith was old enough to make her own choices and do what she pleased.
"The continue to save to leave this place. Go find your own place. I want you in my life, that doesn't mean you have to live with me or stay close by. You are old enough to chose the life you wish to lead." She said with a shrug. She really didn't expect the girl to be at all open to other ideas. Hell, she wouldn't have been at that age. She had said her piece, now it was up to the girl to make her choices. Did Isabella regret what she did? No, she regretted how things turned out that day, but she would never regret protecting her children.

Kai looked down at the table, this was a tough spot. He looked up to his wife, she made a point. Lillith was old enough for her own choices, but Kai couldnt help but want his little girl back. He nodded slowly as he looked to Lillith, "We just want you to be happy and to know everything is ok" he told her softly.
Lillith's eyes darted between the two before her. She wasnt sure anymore. She half expected them to beg her to come with them maybe even drag her away. She hung her head. "Can I see him though? Does he remember me?"

Isabella nodded when Lillith asked if Aryeh remembered her.
"I would never prevent you from seeing him. He does remember you, his time frame is that of a week or two after the fight, so both Kane and Aryeh remember you.." She said with a smile. Aryeh was just going to...love that his sister was grown to be taller then him. Oh yeah, that was going to be epically amusing

Lillith nodded slowly. "I would like to see him as soon as possable" she stated plainly. "Before I make any desisions... I want to see him" she said again but slower, this time it was more to herself.
Kai nodded that was a rather simple request. He looked at the two, "Did you think you still needed time to talk by yourself?" he asked.

Isabella wasn't sure if she really was okay with the idea of the woman before her seeing Aryeh. She wasn't sure how the woman would take seeing her twin as a child again.
"Of course, that makes perfect sense.." She looked at Kai, not really sure what else she had to say to the girl. She shrugged a bit, not understanding what he thought needed to be said.

Lillith shook her head no as she stood from the table. "I just want to see my brother" she added softly.
Kai nodded as he stood as well. He kept Isabella's hand in his as he stood. "I will stay here and have a chat with Kitty for a moment then but you two can head back" he looked at the stairs for a moment. "Im sure Ill be able to find my way back... or Ill call Kamui" he added with a laugh.
