I Spirit Fox Kurama I Ai-- may I call you Ai?-- it would seem there is an open slot on Team Urameshi. Imagine that. >w> Yes, I do not mind the nickname at all, Kurama. *roflmao* I could see the issue. though in all fairness, it was the manga-ka's plan originally for Hiei and Kurama to be a couple and stopped only because he/she was afraid that it would be rejected as strongly as the last yaoi that the manga-ka published*name escapes me and I can't check my bookshelf because my mom will flip I'm up so late on a school night*

You know...I could have sworn I thought Kurama to be my junior high sweetheart, I loved him that much lol. 50 to 60% of my sketchbooks prior to art school in college were Kurama sketches...I owe my talent to that beautiful cartoon character. And you know I didn't think Yusuke or Hiei to be that pretty either, but they grew on me as the characters grew in the anime ^--^ Especially Yusuke when I found his real-life look-a-like: Whoo!  Kuwabara..hmmmm...eeehh..yeahhhh

yeah, i know.
the editor had Togashi change a bunch of stuff, which was actually half the reason for Hiei's Jaganshi form. it was a spin-off of a mythical hindu creature who was considered to be untouchable. Hiei is also named after mount Hiei, in where women were forbidden for quite a while.

i enjoy that you know these things.
personally, i don't believe Hiei or most youkai would actually care which gender they got with,because sexual taboos such as homosexuality don't exist in Makai and there are obviously a lot of bisexual/gay youkai (Itsuki, for example).

Ai-- you know about that story? Rarely do we meet anyone who's aware of Togashi's original intentions for Hiei and Kurama. Not even most rabid yaoi fangirls know the truth. Consider me impressed.
Also, no worries about the curveballs. The more, the better. We're pretty laid back, and I wouldn't want anyone to restrict their characters because they're worried about OOC reactions.

most people prefer Kurama.
Hiei has a fan base, but it's less about his looks and more the "untouchable bad-boy" attitude.
i like to rp him as being extremely hard to get. considering how many people go after him in the commerce regularly, i'm pretty proud how well he's lasted.
though i did play a story of sorts where he decided someone was his property, but that didn't go too far and it's pretty much falling apart left and right. i kind of expected it. didn't think it'd last as long as it did (about a year in real time), but then they rarely see each other and it's hardly relationship status compared to the real deal.

Ha I just wanted to snuggle Hiei and his bad boy self! emotion_awesome ...He's always to angry and severe and just needs a hug...but I always awwed when the story of Yukina would come up, cause then he turns to Loving Big brother ^--^ It's a side of him that is not normally seen. But I agree him to be a more difficult character to play, just because it's hard to think as deep and dark as he does for me. For me..my easiest neck of the woods would be.....Botan. Witty, sarcasm, and generally happy. But I always try for something in between, so it will be interesting to see where I start.
