Abaeze grinned, tail swatting away pesky flies as she spoke with Ayita. "I'll be sure then to keep this place a secret then. It would be no fun at all if anyone found it." She winked, thinking it was better to keep this spot a secret rather than tell everyone whenever they can't find Ayita. Sometimes they needed their own space. Besides, if everyone knew, then they wouldn't have any fun escaping from the stresses of pride life. "Ayita, what do you when you're sitting here, taking a break from the pride?" The lioness asked, curious as to the other lioness' thoughts during those days by herself.

A good question. A question Ayita had been waiting for Abaeze to ask. it was bound to happen. Not that the huntress could read minds. Oh no. If she could that would make life all the more easier. Not to mention hunting. But, that was easy enough for her. Not to boast her own boar. Nah. "Bask in the beautiful rays of the sun. Occasionally take a dip in the water there. Or gaze about the scenery thinking of the pride." Thinking about Manaba. Her worry for her brother. Thinking of what their parents would say to them both if they were still around. Would they be proud of Ayita? Be proud of Manaba. Many of things. She'll occasionally think of herself in the future. Will she at some point have cubs of her own? Surely her brother would have plenty. Though, as much as he plays around, Ayita knew her brother wasn't one to physically switch from one female to another. He was too kind on the inside for that.

Abaeze nodded, looking at Ayita with as much pride and respect as she always gave, and a little more because her huntress had entrusted her with the knowledge of her secret hiding spot. "I wouldn't mind doing that all day," she mused, swatting another fly with her tail before continuing, "I wish prey could catch itself, but then again, that takes all the joy out of the hunt." She chuckled, suddenly thinking of her brother lazying around as gazelles caught themselves for him. She could also see Manaba doing that as well, but he was more prideful in the way he would do it. She glanced at Ayita and thought of her huntress sitting around and doing nothing all day. It was only possible to imagine with cubs climbing over her and calling her "Mama" and "Ma" because she knew she wouldn't be as lazy as that. Another thought went through the lioness' mind: how great of a mother would Ayita be? Her cubs would have the best hunter's blood running through them, but Ayita simply as a mother? Abaeze knew the answer to that without much thought. Ayita would be the best mother to any cub in the world.

Ayita let out a wholehearted laugh. That tail of her's flapped against the ground. As if keeping time like a human's clock. "That would make it all the more easier however. As lazy as we would be." A laugh sprouted out of the head huntress' mouth. Teeth beared in the process. This day was going quite well. Sure it was a little scratchy earlier on in the day but that didn't mean a thing. It was probably better now, in relaxation with a trusted friend. Keeping herself amused Ayita spoke again. "What do you think about, laying here?" This place brought many thoughts. Questions. Images of the future. Memories of the past. Many many things. The list goes on and on. Eventually, if Ayita had any cubs, she would bring them year. Possibly make it a sort of generation family spot. That would be nice.

Abaeze thought for a moment, eyes traveling over the golden grasses, the grazing animals, and the blue sky. Being in this spot brought out many thoughts for her, but the most prevalent was the one where her important cub was involved. "I'm thinking how much Musa would love it here. He's so fed up with being stuck at Priderock. He'd love watching the animals, playing games, and making up stories about each animal. It'd make me happy to see him here." Her voice became distant as she thought of Musa and his immaturity. She would have to keep a careful eye on him least a wilder beast stepped on him. "I know he'd keep this place a secret. He's good at keeping secrets." The thought of having her own cubs come here never crossed the lioness' mind, but that was mainly because Musa was every thought and world.

Letting the brown pelt fully lay into the grass and dirt, Ayita was now on her side. The muscle in her frame relaxing fully for the first time in a while. This was the typical pose humans saw in a lazy lion. Ayita was content with life at the moment. Enough so she actually closed her eyes. Oh how lovely the shade of the sun felt on her dark pelt. "I would not mind if you brought the little one here. As long as he promises me himself he will not tell a soul." A promise to her was a serious thing. Break them and she made sure your life was hell. Or she herself would threaten you. She learned the hard way that they were easily broken. But with fear behind them, they were never told. Not that she would hurt the cub. No. A stern glare from her green eyes would do the trick.

Abaeze smiled, her white teeth flashing for a brief moment as she looked at her huntress respectfully. "That would be wonderful. I'm sure you'll be his favorite lion after that." She could already see the cub's dark brown, furry face when she told him that he could leave the rock with her, but under certain conditions. He'd be a real ball of energy after that. "Yes, you'll definitely be his favorite." She thought fondly of both Ayita and Musa.

Laughing a bit, Ayita had to think of what the little cub would look like. What kind of expression would he have. Knowing little Musa, he'd probably be proud later to find out that the head huntress trusted him enough to even offer it. Even with a promise. "I'll have a small mud colored shadow will I not?" The cub was almost as dark as Ayita herself. Or possible maybe a tint darker. Surely a lot darker then his sister. Amusing. None the less it was obvious the two were siblings. With how much Abaeze cared for her little brother. The huntress knew that well. She'd be taking care of her own brother for the rest of her life. For, they were there for each other. Being the older one, she had a promise to keep to her parents. Make sure nothing happened to Manaba. She'd keep it. Even if it killed her.

[I know this is pretty late in saying this, but I just noticed how similar our lionesses are to one another. It's adorable.]

Abaeze nodded, holding back a bark of laughter that threatened to escape from her jaws. Musa following around Ayita was a comical mental image. It really was because he would never stop asking her questions and thanking her and just being himself. She was glad she had such a find head huntress in the pride. "Sadly, yes, you'll have that mud shadowing you for some time. But I know of ways to distract him." The lioness offered, finally releasing her laughter, but it was not mocking laughter, only a good natured kind.

(I noticed that as well xD )

The laugh from the fellow lioness was well welcomed. Infact, Ayita sat herself up from her full side laying position. Of course still laying down, she was far too comfortable to sit on her haunches. Those teeth of her own beared in a good laugh, joining her friend in unison it seemed. "I would not mind that." Mud shadow was now going to be in her head whenever thinking of the brown cub. Maybe mud could be a nickname for the brown furball. Good enough. Musa may not like it but if Ayita get's it stuck in her head, he's going to have to deal with it. "I hope he doesn't mind being called Mud. That is going to stick to him like sahara sand." It was entertaining, being in the company of this lioness. Made her want to come out here with her more often. Would probably happen now. Maybe after good hunts, coming out here to themselves. Bring the cub out. "Now that I think about it, that little spot of mud will be needing to learn how to hunt soon. You could start teaching him out here. That should distract him." Great idea.

Abaeze laughed harder at the thought of her brother's fluffy face at Ayita calling him Mud. He would not like that name, especially since he hated mud, but it would be perfect for him nonetheless. "Yes, if you were to call him Mud...Oh, I'd love to see his face." She wondered what the brown fur-ball was up to right now. No doubt he was trying to entertain himself. He could never quite sit still for whatever reason. "Yeah, that's a great idea. He'll love it, especially since he can watch all the animals go by." She just worried he would wander off into the Elephant Graveyard or something as horrible as that.

[Because he's not in the Graveyard right now. emotion_awesome ]

The image of the little cub fluffed up in anger was quite entertaining. Ayita's green gaze lit up at the mere thought. Oh how she wished they could just go get the tiny brown colored fur ball. "Would keep the cub entertained. Why do we not go get little Mud now?" It would be good to see if the cub could be trusted. Could be shown he could behave. It was only common knowledge he often got in trouble. Musa would one day learn. And a harsh lesson it would be.

Abaeze chuckled, getting to her paws and stretching her back and legs with content. "Yes, it would be fun to pay him a visit, and spare those poor maidens." She chuckled, looking off in the distance at Priderock where her little brother was suppose to be safely tucked away with the pride's other cubs and lions. He was probably chasing a beetle again, or biting the tail of one of his den-mates took roughly. She shook her head at the thought. They certainly needed to teach the cub a lesson or two.

Once one all fours, back end was leaned back. Toes on both front paws cracked just as Ayita leaned her body forward. Next was the popping of the back. A yawn of teeth and the head huntress was ready to head out. However, now something felt extremely wrong. Like the day her parents didn't wake up. The day Manaba went missing. Ayita didn't like it. Usually she tended to be right. Didn't know how she was or could sense these things. But if she could tell a rhino was a mile away, she was good. Ayita started to head towards the homey rocks. Stopped quickly to look at Abaeze. A question entered her mind. "Where would little Musa go that would get him in the biggest of trouble?" If it was a place where the skeletons of elephants were and hyenas lurked, this cub was in a heep of rhino s**t. With not only his sister. But with Ayita. She herself had given warning to all of the cubs. So had the Kind King. This would be a very bad thing.

Abaeze groaned when her head huntress voiced a question she rather not here. "Not at Priderock, sadly." She had been in such a great mood, but now she was terrified that her little brother may be in the one place his pride's leaders expressively told him to never, ever go. It was a dangerous place, and even if he wanted thrills, it wasn't safe for him to be in the graveyard. "He probably chased a beetle or some flying insect, and never noticed where he was. He's that oblivious." She muttered under her breath, heading in the direction of the Elephant Graveyard with much dread, it felt palpable. Shaking out her light blonde fur, the blue-eyed lioness prayed her brother was at home and not in the graveyard; and if he was in the graveyard, he better be safe.
