Lies. They were all lies. Even after being de-burned, bandaged, cleaned, and sleeping in possibly the warmest and most comfortable situation she had in a long time, the bitterness was there, stronger than ever. She could see the look on Arel's face - the look that said he didn't want to lie to all of them. She watched him intensely, but it took a lot of her own will power to not just scream out 'You're a ******** liar'. The boogiemen looked serious, and for the first time she doubted if she ever wanted to become one.
This was disgusting.
Red deserved better than they were giving her. It was completely and totally disgusting. She had been tempted to leave immediately and go back to the monster dorms, to find that warm spot she'd left in a pile of pelts and not leave it for days - she had a feeling that the skinwalker wouldn't complain if she did so. He'd spent the entire night with her in his room, why would he say no to her just wanting to stay inside and avoid everything?
Her chest burned as she tried to not cry. Tears betrayed thought, and while she would rebel against these bloodsuckers who were covering up the truth...it would do her no good to fight with them right here and right now. She gave all of them a scornful look - even the one who was familiar to her. Oh, she was tempted to ask if there was a way for her to send letters to wherever Red had retired to, how would they answer that?
Though with the bandages around her head and the stiff posture of her torso, her condition would betray her knowledge. Perhaps she wouldn't press her luck. Not in vain, anyways. Still, she looked unhappy.

Oh, did Mot...not know? Again, Xiu felt a little guilty for what she did, but she reminded herself that it was, ultimately, for a good cause. "Some...some students brought pieces of Red back," She said, careful to keep her voice low, "To bury her in Halloween. We couldn't just leave her in the human world, and I saw some of the hunters..." She trailed off. The memory of some of the hunters making off with Red's remains still made her bristle.
She perked up when someone else joined them, relief spreading over her features. "Ren! You're...!" Of course he was okay--all the other students who had disappeared were, after all--but she still couldn't help but reach out and give the gryphon's shoulder a soft squeeze.
As their attention turned to the boogeyman, Xiu also looked at him, a small frown spreading over her face as she noticed Lattice and Pepin trailing after him. What were they doing, she wondered?

Sammy watched as another Ghoul went after the bell cluttered Boogiemen, she only heard a bit of it, but even she knew they would either play dumb or dismiss the girl as having 'hit her head' as Cricket put it originally. For a moment she thought to stop the ghoul, or maybe join her, she wasn't sure which was the proper thing to do so instead she shot the nearest boogimen the most disgusted glare she could before turning back to Jericho, and Riley
"Such is the way it is, word through the grapevine," she said to Jericho before she glanced around again, "I'm going to go... it looks like they've said their part and I should go try and talk to Cricket about getting my left arm looked at again."
She turned to go but looked back for a moment, "I'll be at the fitness clubroom tomorrow night, drop by or something I haven't seen you guys in a while since Terror Warrior." She didn't go on anymore less someone become curious, but she wanted a chance to talk to them, both at least considering they had all been together when talking to Nox. "Try not to let anyone do anything..." She paused glancing towards Pepin, Lattice, "...stupid yet..."
And with that she was off head down low pausing long enough to offer Shehk a hand on the shoulder and a tight squeeze. "Stop by later alright? Siddie's back, she should be making spookies or something for us to snack on if you want..."

When the invitation was extended to her by the other ghoul, Shehk patted Sammy on the shoulder and shook her head. "You know how sweets and my system are. It'd be awkward..besides...I have things to do." The pricolici answered vaguely. Every breathe she took pressed the bandages on her back into the chainsaw wound, prompting a stroke of pain. She looked away from the two ghosts following their newest...stranger, making a face, before she also turned from the scene. She didn't want to think about Boogiemen. She didn't want to talk to them. All she wanted was for them all to leave the student body in peace. It was too bad she lacked the physical power to do just that, however.
She was a pricolici with no power.
Her insides burned with a pain that wasn't physical. She couldn't stay there to all the lies anymore. The lies that were negated by images that flashed through the pricolici's head in a way that would haunt her for weeks..and even then, she wasn't sure if they'd get better. Or if she'd recover the dreams she once had for herself.
This is what you will become if you follow her path - expendable for the greater good. How will you keep your promise to Red, Shehk? If not by becoming one of them, then by doing what? Could it really all be as bad as this looks?
Or are you harboring a grudge that they won't let her be the hero she was in death?
Oh right, you don't think it should have cost that. It was only two steps, ghoul. Her head stung as the bitter thoughts pressed through it, ruffling her hair in a sort of grand frustration before she also headed towards the door to leave. It was...it was a good enough ceremony, she guessed, but she needed to clear her head. She had a place to be and well.... she was wondering if the Boogiemen would have everywhere covered. There was only a few places she really wanted them to leave alone - the dorms were one, but then the other...the other was a priority that only she would hold, really.
She couldn't really be sneaky if they were everywhere like she was starting to suspect.
s**t.
She lingered for a moment, staring at the entire scene that was starting to play out with a sort of..mildly pained look on her face. Yes, she couldn't stay there for very long before she got frustrated. Last thing she needed was to be sent to jail this early in the game. So, it was out the door with the pricolici, not even a greeting given to the familiar faces she knew. She'd come to be there for Red, nobody else. Now she would leave for Red - or at least the mission she had in her head. First stop; recognizance. Okay, first stop to grab her partner in crime, then recon. Because she imagined things would get bad if nobody was watching her back.

She died. Red died. The reaper couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow at that. "And...?" He asked, completely missing the point. "I find it hard to believe that she would fall in battle. She's a tough spookie and always makes it through no matter what. Considering how some of you look..." He lifted his eyes and swept his gaze across the students, meeting their gaze briefly before looking back to Lattice. "It looks as if there was a major battle. If she did die, then she most likely respawned elsewhere."
He jabbed a finger at himself. "Trust me, I'm one of the techs that support the respawn process. Not everyone respawns in the same place. I set up the 'House so that if someone dissipated, they would respawn in the pumpkin patch out front for instance. Like... That pin you have? The Amityville pin? That tunes your Fear in to the local area and enables you to respawn in either the Nurse's office or your own dorm room depending. It wouldn't surprise me if Red chose to respawn elsewhere and is taking time off to heal from any injuries she took."
"However..." He shook his head. "I haven't heard word from her. I assumed she would be here, there are still some things I need to talk to her about." He looked unconvinced, or perhaps oblivious that by "death" it was meant permanent death.
At Pepin's question, the reaper stared at the ghost. "And how were you aware that such a thing even existed?" He inquired, chuckling softly and shaking his head. "Red was single."

Respawn, Somewhere, House, Someone, In-
"Oh yes, oh yes, it did exist," Pepin nodded affirmatively. "But it wasn't hers it was the ice demons'. You see, she was mad at HIM for having it and students having it." The glitch shifted her hover a little bit as if circling the boogeyman, till her sharking stopped next to Lattice.
"Insanity..? Ooooh no no no not so good..." she cooed to the both of them, obviously unaware of the magnitude of when it had happened but still truthfully sympathetic to her Paranormal Post agent.

The word "remains" furrowed the boogieman's brow. He leaned in close as she spoke, barely catching her words. His expression was unreadable, gaze intent as he abosrbed every word she spoke. After a moment he spoke quietly, his words too soft to hear save for Lattice and Pepin "This doesn't add up. I wish to speak with you and others willing to discuss this," he broke off, his eyes flickering towards the boogeymen. "This is unheard of. Something like this can't happen. I need your help to get to the bottom of this, understand? I will be back here in a week. Things should have cooled down by then, bring any remains you're willing to let me see, okay? I won't take them. I need to confirm something. Please trust me."
He stepped back and shook his head, his voice returning to normal tones. "I'm sorry, Engraver. If I knew these particular bells had that effect on you, I would not have worn them. Please accept my apologies."
His attention focused back to Pepin. "Ice demon? Do you --" he began to laugh. "Do you mean Arel's scarf? Red and Arel did attend school together to my knowledge, yes. If she had his scarf then she probably stole it." He paused, looking serious as a thought struck him. "Come to think of it, I leant her something and she still hasn't returned it..."
As Pepin said 'Insanity,' one of the boogiemen in the background turned to look at them. "No, insanity isn't good," The bell-reaper said quickly, "After going through the... ceremony that her kind has, some of its... initiates? Are afflicted as such and don't quite fully recover." He looked to Lattice for help covering it up.
