Ichiru smiled warmed at the thought they had thought to include him. However he knew now was not the time to walk over to the family beside him. He was too used to the cold daeva way of living and on top of being mostly nocturnal. The only one he could probably sleep next to still was his brother and that was mostly from being so close in the womb and when they where little kits. He would never let himself live it down if he accidently lashed out at Damian or Shyanne when attempting to sleep.
“Thank you for the offer but I will be fine. I’m not used to sleeping next to others so I’d be afraid of injuring you while I slept.” Ichiru told her. He wondered if he and Zero looked that cute next to their mother. Suddenly a sharp pain went through his chest as he remembered. ‘Oh yeah I was the one that got them killed’. Luckily a flash of blue and black outside of the cave brought his attention back into more safer thoughts.

Though she almost whined, the vixen nodded at him. "Alright." Smiling fondly at the little boy, she licked his cheek as he tiredly whined, resting her head on her paws. Her eyes flicked up once to look at the man before her, ears flicking.
"Ichiru... You'll be there when we wake up, right?"

A flicker of surprise crossed his face as he looked back at Shyanne. More some one had actually asked him to stay than anything. Sure Zero had asked Ichiru to stay had pleaded when he had left with Shizuka, but had shizuka ever asked him to stay. He was pretty sure that answer was a no. With a kind smile for once he nodded before turning to look out at the cave again.
“Yeah I’ll be here in the morning, awake not so certain but I’ll definitely be here.” Ichiru stated. “And maybe we can track down my evil twin and I’ll introduce you” he stated. During this whole visit it had been knawing on him to have those two meet what was left of his family.

Smiling gently, the vixen licked her sons forehead before snuggling her body closer to him. At ease now and assured that this man, Ichiru, would indeed stay (or else she'd chase him down) she was ready to sleep for a while.
She still didn't really understand her attachment to Ichiru. No, she did, she just.... didn't like it. It made her nervous, in a way, of repeating the past. Was she just a freaky woman that collected stories? She...
Did Ichiru see her that way?
She didn't have a chance to contemplate further, drifting off into sleep.

Ichiru watched as the family slowly fell asleep and shifted his gaze outside, it was just about then that it started to pour. He always liked watching the rain in a short of morbid way. Come to think of it, it was raining that night as well.
Zero briefly stopped at the entrance of the cave and gave Ichiru a smile rather reminiscent of his own before probably going back to Ichiru’s sister in law or shelter or hell even both. Well that answered the question that Zero was playing with him all after noon or probably spying on him and Shyanne if just for a brief while to see how he was doing. Seriously Ichiru was fine, he wasn’t going to go bolting off.
After all this small family seem to need him, hmm family perhaps maybe this time he could keep it. However Shyanne had gotten her heart hurt did he want to make her want him? What if he couldn’t be the type of guy who could handle a family? Well it was probably a bit too late for that line of thinking.

Shyanne woke to the sound of birds, her tail draping over her son gently, who was still asleep. Blearily, she opened her eyes, wincing at the sight of bright light.
Suddenly, her head raised, looking for Ichiru. Her eyes ached from the bright light, her paws kneading the ground in agitation as she waited for her eyes to adjust. Her ears flicked back, rubbing her eyes.
"Ichiru?"

Ichiru opened his eyes to the sound of birds and let one lavender eye glare at them. He should go out and find some way to roast them all personally. Of course then again that would require him to actually get up and move and then find some way to actually roast them. However in his opinion, that would be way too much effort this early in the morning especially when he took into account the fact he had gotten so little sleep the night before.
“Hmmm? Yes Shyanne”

A low sigh of relief escaped her, nodding gently. "I was just checking if you were.... still here." The 'Phim didn't dare budge, her son was still asleep and showed no intention of waking anytime soon. So instead, she'd rest here for a bit.
"I'm sorry if we kept you, you didn't have to stay." A smile crept on her lips gently, blushing slightly. "But I'm very glad you did."

Ichiru lazily tilted his head to the side as he looked over at Shyanne. He just barely managed to stifle a yawn before thinking about what she had just said. “mmm you asked me to stay so I did. I generally like sticking to my word” he replied. “Besides I didn’t like imagining the look you and Damian would have if I stole away”
“Hmm speaking of stealing away in the middle of the night since we briefly mentioned going out and looking for him yesterday would you like to meet my older brother?” Ichiru asked. He had kind of brought it up the night before but back then he didnt exactly know where the stupid phim was. He frowned as suddenly his stomach did little flip flops. After all it didn’t really mean anything that he was taking her, maybe, to see his only family.

Her breath hitched at the offer, eyes widening. Her? Meet his brother? She hadn't been asked to meet family before, somehow it seemed more important than meeting someones friend. Her eyes flicked down to her son, looking over at the man with a nod.
"Can I carry Damian on my back? He's a heavy sleeper." She mused gently, tightening her tails grip on her sons form. She was considering waking him, but he was a kit, she should let him have some kit time. Soon, he'd be an adult and have to live by a schedule. Soon...
Soon he'd leave her side. That thought caught at her heart, tugging. Her son, alone in the world... Not only that, but she wouldn't be able to see him everyday. That thought frightened her the most...

Ichiru smiled and hoped to what ever modeity was listening that Zero was still in the area. When he had slipped away only for those few seconds last night he had talked about the whole idea of maybe Zero stayed around but Ichiru had been pretty cryptic about the whole asking and who knows if his elder brother even understood him. However it kind of felt like his twin was still around.
“Yep I don’t mind at all, I figured you’d want to bring Damian as well.” Ichiru replied. he saw the worry in her face and wondered how it had to feel being that close to a being. He wondered the bonds mothers had with their children, especially if they where good mothers like shyanne was. Not having any family other than zero and with them being estranged for so many years
Waiting until Shyanne moved Damian to her back he nodded and started to lead the way hoping the illusive twin of his would be easier to find today than he was yesterday. Luckily he didn’t have to search too far just about ten minutes of walking and the older phim jumped down from a tree. He watches as Zero raised an eyebrow at the fact Ichiru had company with him today.

When Damian was safely on her back she drew her wings over him to protect him from the elements, following Ichiru quietly. She was slightly slower, making sure to walk slowly so her beloved son wouldn't fall off her back. However, when something fell from the trees a violent snarl escaped her lips, crouching against the ground.
Her son stirred, briefly, letting out a complant before once more falling back asleep. By the time he had dozed off Shyanne had the chance to put two and two together. This male looked like Ichiru, yet not completely. Her eyes viewed him before she relaxed slowly, pressing into Ichiru nervously.

Zero instantly got into a defensive position at the growl. He wasn’t one to attack some one his brother was with per say but he wasn’t going to let himself get attacked either. Eventually he watched as the Vixen calmed down. He recognized her from the spying he was doing yesterday and figured her name was Shyanne. Ichiru did mention her quite a bit but Zero wasn’t entirely certain his twin knew how much he did. “Sorry if I scared you. I was waiting her for Ichiru and didn’t think he was bringing company.” Zero stated remembering his manners. It wouldn’t do to start off bad with a potential family member right?Ichiru had to keep from chuckling darkly at the way Shyanne instantly moved to protect Damian, Mothers where definitely a scary thing when provoked. Of course Zero’s look of surprise was also pretty classic. He felt a little sorry for Damian though, poor guy couldn’t hold it against him him for trying to get some more shut eye. Kits used a lot of energy during the day. “Yo Hi Nii-chan” he said in a dry tone inching over and bumping his shoulder into his twin. “This is Shyanne, figured you guys should meet for really right” He said with a smile.

Her wings covered her son, protecting him from this stranger. Still, she smiled happily at the meeting of the other, despite how her wings refused to expose her beloved son. She nodded at the other, glancing at the other briefly before viewing Zero with narrowed eyes.
"Wait, you saw us before? When?" She questioned, tensing rapidly.

Zero looked over to the side and let a light blush cover his face recalling the instance. He so wasn’t going to tell her about talking to Ichiru most of the night outside of the cave. However he could tell her something a bit more embarrassing that had also happened the day before. “Well you see I had shown up on time to go and meet up with Ichiru yesterday but he just looked so happy to see you I moved back into the shadows and let him meet up with you yesterday” Zero explained. “As his older brother I worry about him”
Oh he was going to get Zero most definitely. Sure he was happy to see them but the stupid git had to go and tell of that instance. Yeah thinking about it Shyanne wouldn’t have been too happy to hear about his midnight rendezvous especially since she had been sleeping. Then the git had to go and say something sappy. Ugh didn’t Zero ever change seriously.
