Hm, reading over short's point, if B and Z have ranks, I would imagine that as scribe and fortune-teller they are higher than the average member such as forager or guard, but not nearly as highly regarded or respected as midwife or priestess. Septimus probably would acknowledge them personally, but not give them all that much thought in the grand scheme of things.
Oh man, if Septimus did separate them, Z would probably go nuts because he freaks out whenever he's away from B for more than an hour two without proper explanation. He might just start a riot even though he's normally very laid back.

Hm, I dunno - to Septimus, all ranks are just as important as others, so there really isn't any higher or lower ranks, aside from alpha and prince, and anyone he keeps close to him.
Septimus doesn't care enough about anyone to get in their business, really. So long as a kuniku doesn't act suspicious or otherwise make him suspect them as a traitor, he won't be watching them closely... or pay attention to them at all. The only time he'd notice someone is if that kuniku was all up in his face.
So, unless B/Z are running around yelling "LOLOLOL LOOK AT HOW DISLOYAL TO OUR ALPHA WE ARE, DERP" he won't give them a second glance.
I suppose if you'd like me to rank them, I can (from his point of view)~
scribe - high writer/poet/storyteller - low midwife - high babysitter/nanny - middle healer/medicine-kuni - high priest/priestess - high fortune-teller/paw-reader/astrologist/star-reader - low hunter/gatherer/forager/fisher-kuni/cook - high artist/painter/potter - low astronomer - low farmer - middle guard/warrior/soldier - middle jeweler/metal-smith - middle
I put guard as middle because, even though the guards are very important to him and the way he runs things, there are also, ICly, SO MANY guards that he doesn't care to keep track of them himself, and assumes that with such large numbers that there's nothing to worry about anyway. He also has a few trained guard captains that are, he hopes, vicious and loyal enough to keep the others in line.
@Relain: I just want you to know that if Septimus ever knew Inabikari wanted to leave the pack, he'd kick his a** and kick him out. >A> However... if you'd like, I can see Inabikari in a scout or messenger position of some sort, that would hopefully allow him to travel quite a bit, and make use of his speed and wanderlust? :3 Septimus would rather keep a kuniku with such talent in his pack, so he'd happily let him have a position like that to keep him content. xD
@Short/Hope: Like I said, there's almost no way Septimus would ever even notice the boys unless they did something stupid or hung around him a lot... since they're not potential breeding partners to him. xD Therefore, he wouldn't even realize they were close or that separation would upset them. So it's not a big thing to worry about, unless they start causing trouble, in which case, he would either keep an eye on them personally or have someone else do it, and then, upon learning about how close they are, he'd certainly use that to his advantage.

Being a messenger would be perfect for Bik-Bik. 3nodding He would definitely stay if his job was to run around Honshu.

Yeah, I didn't imagine Septimus would pay them much attention (B&Z, that is). But, like in the little plot I mentioned before, if B&Z were to get caught leading a few Kunis down from the area they live at night, only then would they really be payed attention to.
Another thing I forgot to mention, by the way, Benzai actually really does like/respect Septimus, since he grew up under his authority, so when he's called on to explain or inform Septimus of something, he won't ever hold back the truth. Pretty much, the only reason he's siding with the prince is because he wants to meet and teach others what he knows. Well. That, and he's around the same age, so they grew up together/played together (if that's cool with you, TTF, and Fallacy, of course).

Oh, haha, this has me curious now.
If Septimus thinks he's a deity, that means he's gonna be a big target of Vidar's pack if/when he finds out about them. Lololol.
Now I have an epic battle scene going on in my head. XD

Short, did you still want Isamu's pack to possibly merge with Vidar's? Because if not, from plotting a while back TTF and I were talking about Kure eventually pulling the rug out from underneath Isam and she becoming the leader of their pack.

Whatever works, really. V's just gonna try amd take them down if that's what happens. Either way, there's a possibility they could be underV's ruling.

*needs to read up on the other packs*
If Vidar is going to go after Septimus eventually, perhaps Kazuki could step in and try to negotiate something? xD Or perhaps get help on trying to open his father's eyes and see that change needs to occur?
=3= Baah. I'm half asleep so don't mind me. I should go and read up on the other pack before I continue. xDDD

Well, to be honest, Vidar's not the most... willing Kuniku out there. Once he's set on something, he's going to achieve it, or die trying, pretty much. He's actually a pretty violent Kuni. D':
And he has a psychotic 'body guard' to back him up. Siddy.
I'm definitely sure it would help open Septimus's eyes... The threat of nearly dying would open up anyone's eyes. Vidar's included. Haha.

TTF, I've added ranks for Miizu and Jessica C: I hope it's ok but I wanted Jess to be a food person, and Miizu to be a healer. I've put that Miizu is learning, so if anyone else puts their kuni as a healer too, maybe they could be Miizu's mentor?
Also, I noticed Kenai has been put at neutral for the moment, but he's loyal so far?

Ah well you know, looking back on things, I noticed one thing for rank that doesn't actually completely work out. I checked the Roleplay Guide just to make sure my thought was right.
It's perfectly fine for kuniku to forage for food and gather it, whether it's from the wilderness or from a human, but kuniku actually don't hunt other animals. Unless it was prepared by a human, meat isn't part of their diet. I guess if you still wanted to have 'hunters' and 'fishers', perhaps they tend to the livestock, etc of the humans who also live in the temples? Something like that, I guess.

@Relain: Sounds good!
@Short: That's fine. :3 Epic battle would be epic. 8D
@Sporkie: That's because he'll be disloyal at the end? :3 Also those ranks are fine.
@Hope: Yeah I suppose it would be taking care of the temple humans' animals and taking what was offered. :3

So, are we going to do a pack roleplay soon, just to get everyone rolling and introduced? C:
Because, if we do, I think it'd be pretty cool to have Septimus call for a meeting about "smelling disloyalty in the pack" and having to remind them all of his deity-like control over them. That way, we'd have all the members together all at once, and... Well. In my opinion, it'd be easy to go from there.
BUT WHATEVER WORRRRKS. <3 Just curious. :D
