What Sonic Character Annoys You The Most

personally all newer sonic games are crap sonic 4 though i havent played enough to give a decent review but sonic colors/super mario galaxy rip-off, i miss the 2d formula of the first 4 genesis sonics their classics, sonic the fighters was great too, sega and nintendont need to do with sonic what capcom did with megaman 9 and 10, make a new sonic but give it the polished 2d sonic CD look and smooth control. that would wake up the younger crowd and drive back the old school sonic fans. sonic is meant to be 2d no matter how 3d it can look.

||D Oldskool fanboy, hello there. Personally despite what you have said, I want to get Sonic colors. Even if it's a mario galaxy rip-off. Obviously Nintendo doesn't give a s**t about it.
I'm neutral in the whole oldshool and newskool thing. I care not from what year the game is from or how 3D it looks. I care to see if the game itself is playable on a rainy day.

Are you one of those people who even Bash on Sonic Rush and Sonic Advanced too? Those are 2D games with Pre-rendered sprites. They are very close to the oldschool -cant even spell "Skool" without getting pissed off now- but yet people bash it all the time for little reasons. "Oh, you can hold right and press A to get to the end of the levels" Well, guess what. You can do that in the older games as well, buddy.

Amy, Chris and Elise. Dear god. Amy sometimes may show some good points and sometimes would mean well, but still, she annoys the crap out of me. Chris, I think he's a bit of a cry baby and as someone mentioned, very wishywashy. Elise, well, she's just annoying. I can't exactly describe it.

Just out of curioisty, why would Bark annoy you as a character? I thought his character design was rather interesting (Tank-type strength characters always grab my attention!) and his only canon appearance in sega game series was in Sonic Fighters (which is just characters beating each other up in hand-to-hand combat). I don't know how big his role in the Archie Sonic comics is, but the few issues I have with him in them, he was pretty straight forward and basic in personality to not necessarily like or dislike.

I must admit, I dislike the Sonic X version of Amy Rose, Japanese and 4Kids. Every time she's on screen, the entire world has to stop for her antics. It doesn't matter how deadly the situation, or how serious the mood, as long as Sonic's not affected she's all over him with that overused kiss gag. And when people try to ignore her, she gets mad, and then you can't ignore her because of that hammer. She's like a malignant, clichéd tumor - a huge mass of useless, infectious anime stereotypes that you can't ignore, try as you might.
But other than that, every other incarnation of Amy is tolerable. I think the writers for Sonic X in both languages messed up bad when writing her character, which is why she turned out as more of an irritating plot device than a developing character. They failed to realize that more screen time does not always equal instant character development. It's a bit sad. cry
