 For a moment Sabre was stunned silent, until laughter erupted from him leaving him needing to lean on a counter. It took him a couple of moments to get control over himself and return to his normal stance even then his frame shook with the ends of his laughing. "I fear I have misjudged you, ma'am. You aren't not what I was expecting." he said with a few small giggles. Clearing his throat he continued. "You needn't worry about anything happening ma'am. I will do nothing that Alex doesn't order me to do."

Amy shook her head as Sabre began to laugh. “Well, that is good to hear,” She said as she got a skillet out to cook the meat. “What did you expect me to be?” Amy continued as she stuck the meat into the skillet and added a little oil into the boiling water with the noodles. “After you answer you can go outside with Alex. She needs some cheering up.”

"Nothing ma'am, nothing that needs said anymore." Sabre said with a small bow as he turned heading out the back door. He paused a moment out in the sun, closing his eyes and just feeling its warmth. It had been a long time since he'd been out here, and the sun was something he missed greatly. After a moment he opened them and looked for Alex.

 Amy shook her head again as Sabre walked out, wondering what on earth he tought of her. Alex’s ears perked up for a moment, listening to the door open and then Sabre’s step outside. Sitting in front of a patch of flowers, yet to bloom and already drooping. Her ears when right back down as he stopped. Alex gently touches a bud thinking, ‘Maybe they need more water…?’

Sabre couldn't help but smile at his mistress when he saw her with the flowers. He came over, mentally loving the feeling of grass on his bare feet. "Have you watered them lately, Mistress? These kinds need lots of water when their first planted." Sabre suggested as he crouched down next to her. This was something he was good with, and it had been so long since he had gotten to help in any sort of garden.

Alex nodded. “Uh-huh. Just this morning. Should I water them again…?” She said, uncertain and ears still down. Alex glanced up as Sabre crouched beside her, not bothering to move her hair out of her face this time. She noticed that he as barefooted, and then wondered how long it’s been since he was outside for fun.

"That depends, how long ago did you plant them? Oh and do you have any fertilizer? That might help them. Don't worry they're not dead, they just need a little push." Sabre said looking over the plants. They honestly didn't look like they were dying, hopefully it was just a little bit of water and food to make them better.

Alex nodded again. “We planted them from little seeds. And yeah, we used fertilizer. I guess we just need more water…” She said and stood up. Alex walked over to where the garden hose was as started to unravel it, turning the water on. She picked up a watering bucket off the ground and put the end of the hose in it. “Sabre?” Alex asked, looking down at the watering bucket. “Do you know your mother…? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.”

Sabre nodded and smiled as he watched her get up and get the water. Hm...was this what was bugging his young mistress? "Yes I do, she is a very pretty lady. I inheriated my hair from her. She's the one who pushed me to explore my interests. Last I heard she still lived with my family in Verville." He answered looking at the flower bed as he did so, a slightly nostalgic look on his face as he remember her.

Alex looked up slightly, peeking at Sabre’s expression. “Would you like to see her again?” She asks and looked down as her feet began to get wet thought her shoes. “Oops,” She mumbles as the watering bucket was overflowing. She quickly shut off the water and sat down, taking her wet shoes and socks off. Alex put the shoes by the door and stuffed the wet socks inside the shoes. “Do you miss her?”

Sabre smiled again coming over to help her with the bucket. "I wouldn't mind seeing her, and yes I miss her but I have no clue if she's even still there. Let alone what would happen if I returned. So please don't worry about it. I'm quite content with my life." Sabre said looking at her as he picked up the bucket. Carrying the bucket easily over he started to pour it.

Alex nodded. “If you ever want to see her, just let me know… okay?” She said and watched Sabre as he walked over. She then walked over with him to the flowers. “I don’t know my mom… well, if I ever met her I don’t remember… But I look a lot like her,” Alex said, watching the flowers as they were being watered. “Well, that’s what I think at least. I don’t look much like my dad so I figure I look like her.” She sat down in front of the flowers, holding out a hand under the water, just past where the flowers could reach, ears still down.

[colo=indigo]"I will I promise." He said watching her this time. Now we were getting some where. Sabre was wondering what was bothering her, maybe this was what was it. "Maybe, that's a good thought though. I bet she was very pretty." He said smiling at her. It must be hard not knowing, but he knew better than to assume it was better than knowing and missing someone.

“We don’t have any pictures or anything of her… And my dad won’t tell me anything about her…” Alex said, still looking at the flowers. “But one time… when I asked him what she was to him he said something about a stray…” Her ears went back further if that were possible. “I don’t know if he meant a one night stand or…” She trailed off, not wanting to think of her mother as a whore of any kind.

Sabre put the bucket down as he listened to Alex talk. When she started to trail off, he reached out puting a hand on her head. "It doesn't matter who your mother was, or what your father says to you about her. It does nothing to change who you are, Mistress. Don't forget that, alright?" He said softly as he smiled at her again.
