Evelyn of Ithilien Why? I would want to live forever, mainly because you don't get old. The effects of aging are quite nasty. >_< But think of all the things you have to go through! you'll be hated (sad face but some people are hateful) because you don't age. you'll have to see war over and over again and your not-imortal friends die around you..... crying gonk

Ah, but you wouldn't have to worry about aging and that sort of stuff. Also, assuming your significant other was also immortal, you wouldn't have to wonder about which one of you would die first. And who cares if you see war over and over, you would get to fight evil over and over! yay! biggrin

I'd be an Elf, because they are strong natured, love nature and are wise and beautiful.

Evelyn of Ithilien I've always wondered, how long does the child of an elf and a human live? Are they immortal, mortal, or really long lived? they live pretty long. i know this because im am aragorn's #1 fan, and he is a half elf and he is around 80 years old and still going strong.

i'd be a half elf. like i said before im aragorn's #1 fan and this would probably b the main reason but half elves are also very smart and love nature just like me

littlemoonwolf_15 Evelyn of Ithilien Ya, I think he's about 87. and he's a half elf? didn't know that, thought he was 1 quarter elf. Well, actually I believe his mother was a half-elf. However when he was given the Elessar he began sort of half-elf. Btw, Aragorn dies at some point in the appendix of the last book. He simply says he's ready than dies in his bed. Arwen then goes and lays herself to rest in Lorien.
