Don't worry, we all make mistakes. We wouldn't learn if we didn't, eh?

When making announcements in the Entrance Hall make sure you use the Editor's account which Lorrieta should still have the password to. I never gave it to cocosam (and I don't think she has that account right now).

Hey guys! Sooo I finally finished updating the FRONT PAGE of this thread. At first cocosam and Lorrieta were co-editors, but it seems that cocosam has been banned from Gaia. So Lorrieta is acting editor! If she decides that she needs a new co-editor, she will announce something!

Here's the list of birthdays from the other thread, minus people who are no longer in the guild or who have been inactive for 5 months or more. (You might not be on the list if you have changed your username, so take a look and let me know.) [Year is in parentheses after username, if given.]

To the staff (and members!) Should we just cancel the Hogwarts Monthly? I can't get a reply from the editor, and no one (other than Lyra) can find their submission or even know what kind of submission they're trying to get. The initial deadline has passed, and now I'm wondering if the only way there'll ever be a HM like there was three years ago is if the Mods continue to post it which is not HOW it was three years ago. Members were more than eager to submit something, yet now we can only get three or four volunteers and then even they aren't too eager to submit something. With the re-opening and revamping of the Monthly, did I miss something???? Explain to me what should be done so that we can successfully revive the MONTHLY (which is a Monthly, not every few months or so thing). Yes this is Icee's rant. There was a lot of interest in getting this feature of the guild back up and running and now that it is up and running, where's the interest??? I'm just kinda upset because I really thought there would be a few members who would help keep this running. Don't say it's not enough people because the Hogwarts Ghostly was created entirely by no more than three members in two weeks, yet it was interesting and enjoyable.

Don't say it's not enough people because the Hogwarts Ghostly was created entirely by no more than three members in two weeks, yet it was interesting and enjoyable. I think it might be because of school coming back up (not all of us have graduated) and teachers, when they see the opportunity, they give boatloads of homework. All the way until the people who are supposed to be writing for the HM have just... left. Lorrieta is pretty much inactive now. It was like, she didn't get my submission I sent during the Pajama-Rama. I think (since some people are getting pretty inactive around now) that maybe we should pick a new editor, or at least a co-editor, and encourage more people to be a part of it. I'm serious. Lyra & I seem to be the only people writing for the HM now, and Lorrieta isn't on very much anymore.
I think the problem is that A) we don't have many people, and B) the people we have aren't getting their stuff done quick enough, and C) our people aren't getting on as much to write their dang article.

And Sam, who is always very active and participates in everything, is unable to get on Gaia for an unknown amount of time.
Can't really reply properly right now, but will try to as soon as I can. As for why, well go look at my post in the SMB.

I would love to help with Hm if it's not too late. All I'll need is the how to, and who to turn it in to and I'll do my best. I wouldn't want to see it end... sad What I read so far since joining the guild is great and fun. It also makes everything much more magical to me.

Well I am in the process of putting January's issue together (with some very special help, so I'm excited!). Do you think you can create a Games section? Like for a post to have a crossword, word search, anagram, riddles, etc? Most newspapers have those sections, and hopefully the HM can as well. Like a Just for Fun section (which can be a regular feature)

I'd like to help with the "Just for Fun" section. I could find some questions for a trivia section. Maybe ten or fifteen or so questions each month, and then post the answers the next month. Each month could be based on one of the seven books. Thoughts? I'd like to help with the other parts of this section too.
[[I'm excited. I've always wanted to teach a class, but don't have the time to make lessons, homework, etc. But I do have the time to help with this!]]
