[[That helps, yes! xD ]]
Nami, as quietly as possible, chuckled rather hatefully. What's there to celebrate? Life, as Itachi had told her. She still couldn't comprehend the fact that her own life may actually be worth 1 day of minor celebration. She covered her expression with a high and mighty bored look, like you'd get from someone whom, in fewer words, looked down on you. Someone who looked down on that person from the highest building in the world, like they were looking at a speck of dust. "You sure seem excited, no?" Her eyes danced with a sadistic glint, even as she blinked, and when she opened them, they seemed to be even more challenging. "There's probably three people in this world I can actually put up with and like at the same time... and one of them died. Heh. I guess I'm just s**t outta luck." She finally walked fully into the room, leaning against the wall directly behind her mother.
[[I haven't used Hisoka much, but he shall have his time. Oh, he will. ;D ]]

[[Everyone in my family is short. ._, I'm the only taller female in my famille! Save for an aunt or two.]]
Aimi couldn't find any words to say to Nami. Her back was turned, and even though Aimi hadn't seen Nami in the longest of times, she could imagine the look she was given. It was only natural. Then again, it was also natural for Aimi to think this way, right? So far, all the problem's sources were her daughter or at least daughter related. Then the motherly sense kicked in. A feeling of shame welled in within. What kind of mother thought of her daughter as such? Apparently, Aimi was. She was a god damned person with a fate of burning to a sizzling crisp in hell. "Have you found people who care?"

[[Wahhh... I'm not even taller than my grandmother yet, and she was short to begin with but now she's shrinking. ... I'm almost taller than her... but no. :c ]]
Nami closed her eyes for a long time after that. That question shouldn't be worded as such, she thought. It sounds awkward... especially coming from a parent. Her eyes took their time opening. Even though it took such a long time for them to, they didn't open all the way. A bit over half of the way open, just so Nami could see her mother clearly enough. "I suppose. They must care; there's no point in leading me in a fake alliance." She spoke with a subtle monotone. Looking down, she thought about it more thoroughly. Anything's possible. People lie all the time. I still haven't found a good reason of why they do. Sometimes there's a reason, but... what would be the reason here?

[[o-o That it..? No one else in your family, save for young, young children? I mean third graders and such. xD]]
Everything was sliced as it should. The miso wasn't very hot so it wouldn't burn your tongue. Pushing her hair back with the crease of her elbow, Aimi sighed. "Watch your back, Nami. They might just be using you." As she said this, Aimi waved the knife around she had used to chop up the vegetables. She hadn't expected to cook today since she was going to the market, but things were going by, swell. In truth, Aimi really had to go to the marketplace. They were short on food around the place. Gently laying the knife down, an attempt not to make much noise, "I must rush to the marketplace if I want to make it in time for.. a sale." Her words at the end were hesitant, but it was the truth. Just not the whole truth.

[[ I have small cousins; highest age probably being 9 that I'm taller than. I have another cousin who is very, very close to my age that I'm baaaaarely taller than. Other than that, I think two of my aunts are barely taller than me. No one is a lot taller than me on the girl's side; everyone is quite short. ]]
Nami's shoulder's dropped. That would make sense. She couldn't find a good reason of why she'd be used, but it seemed like a possiblity. If it turned out to be true, though, she didn't think she could bear it. She watched her mother wave the knife around a bit, her eyes catching every glimmer and shine it let off. Then she heard her mother mention the market. That meant Nami would be alone with her father. She wouldn't ask her mother to stay, though, or if she could tag along. All of the options Nami currently had were either awkward, wouldn't end well, or both. She was going with both. "A-alright." She nodded, assuring herself that everything would be fine.

[[Ooh! Lucky you! I'm the second youngest cousin in my family. The oldest one is about 30. x______x]]
Fixing the loose strands of hair that managed to escape the tight bun on her head, Aimi nodded to Nami. At the moment, the only noise remaining, besides the breaths of those around her, was the quiet clack of her shoes. Entering the other room where Hisoka resided, Aimi pecked a small kiss on his cheek and headed towards the door. "I'll be back." Was all she could say. What else could Aimi assure? Not much, really. Gently, she slid the door, stepped out and shut it quietly behind her.

[[ 30-year-old cousin, eh? ... Hm... I think the oldest in my family is 25. Second oldest is either 21 or 22. He's in the army. c: I love him~ P.S. - Hisoka time~ ]]
Hisoka, after Aimi had left, lightly touched his cheek. He hadn't had one of those in a while. He slowly let his hand fall back down to his side as his gaze made it's way to the kitchen doorway. His gaze somehow found a way to become even more unfriendly. He walked over to the doorway, stepped inside the room, looked to Nami, and slammed his hand into the area of the wall not 4 inches away from her head. He leaned in dangerously close. "You made her leave, didn't you?" He spoke with clear venom; heh, like it was hard to tell.
Nami visibly flinched at everything Hisoka did. When he walked into the room, she flinched. When he made such a loud, unneeded noise with his hand, she flinched. When he leaned in, flinch; when he spoke, another flinch. If this scene would've played out when she was 14, she probably wouldn't have done a thing. Her eyes would've looked just as dead and dull as she felt. But when she left, nothing like what happened at home ever happened again, so she got used to the kind smiles and the quiet evenings. At home, she had been used to the glares and the never-ending fights and arguments every hour of the day. Sometimes you didn't need to use words to have an argument, and with Nami and her father, no words needed to be spoken during a fight. She looked her father in the face with the same expression from so many years ago, speaking in the same tone during every syllable of her sentence, "I did no such thing."
[[ I don't like being mean. D8 ... I'mma feel weird... while Aimi-chaaan is gone, I'm gunna be doing everything in the house... total control that I don't exactly favor. ... Hm... I was planning to take it too far anyways. :0 ]]

[[I dun seem him much though. D; How young is your youngest cousin? Mines eleven. xD P.S || What shall I do..? Describe Aimi's well being? Ohh, well. I'll do it anyways]]
You've seen in stories where the woman sees the man she is currently in a relationship. She runs up to her lover and he catches her in his arms. A real peaceful scene. This was not the case for Aimi.
As the man's tall figure came into view, Aimi's shoulders tensed and her breathing caught her neck. When she was much closer, she could see the expression on his face. From the looks of things, he was mad 'cause she was late. Aimi plastered on a brace smile as she attempted a passionate kiss with the man. He did not move. His actions were not full of passion or lust as they usually were. Instead, his arms gripped hard onto her upper arm and she let out a quiet cry.
The man shoved her into the carriage type thinger. [<-- Yupyup.. couldn't say they mad the get away in some pimpin' car. xD] Aimi cast one last glance towards the direction of her home. By the looks of things, Aimi wouldn't be home for a bit.

[[ Hm... the youngest is, like... a toddler. Dunno his age. I never see him, really... P.S. - Iunno. I don't even know what I should do for so long. xD Unless we wanna have some random appearances. ]]
That wasn't the reaction Hisoka wanted. It seemed Nami still had no respect for the people who brought her into this world. He helped bring her here, he could help her leave it. Permanently, this time. Slowly, the hand that had practically made an indentation in the wall, slid over to hold Nami's cheek.
Nami had expected him to hurt her, and she still did now. The action he just did was probably done just so she'd 'relax' and think everything would be 'ok' for once. She turned her hed away, scoffing at her father. "You still blame me for things that you ******** up on your own. Heh. You say I disgrace our name." As she expected, a loud smack echoed throughout the room and a huge sting of pain followed, one that coursed through her cheek. Her father had hit her. Nothing had changed. Nami licked the inside of her cheek, a metallic vanilla-ish taste corrupting her tongue as it made contact. She assumed that during the hit, her cheek had gotten caught against one of her teeth. "At least I was able to leave."

[[From who..? Anyways.. I'll look for a chance to bring Aimi back in. We didn't plan this very well did we? xDD]]
Aimi was afraid. She knew things weren't well between Nami and the family, but she left them all alone anyway. Aimi was sitting on the floor, staring at the ground, contemplating on what she had just done. The man in front of her, a man whom she could not recall his name; perhaps he was new, was pissed off. All because she was late. Aimi knew she shouldn't go through this guy. He didn't even pay well, but she needed the money. Nami and Hisoka were probably having a face off this very moment. The worst part? Aimi did nothing about it.

[[ See, I could totally say one name right now, but I think you'd be all "UGH," because we just got through with him. I'll admit, I have an obsession with him. Especially when you're controlin' him, because it makes me fangirl like hell. But I'm bored. And he's interesting. And Hisoka could get an a**-whoopin'. And I'd lol. AND, I've ran out of ideas for mah fight right now. I could go on for a little about the last sentence Nami said, because that was epic, but I kind of hinted at that sentence through all of Nami's posts. Kind of... > >;; No, we did not plan this well. xD ]]

[[Actually.. you've got a good idea there. I've been itching to use Itachi ever since I stopped using him. ^ ^;; Who doesn't have an obsession with Itachi? He's so... yeah~ d; We don't really plan thing well together... or separately really.. So, we both agree that I'll bring Itachi in? But if I bring Itachi in so soon the Akira Residence thread will be short lived.]]

[[ YUSSSSS. ITACHI. <3 ... Ahem. -pulls at collar- Ah, really? I think Itachi would make it last much longer, just because I'm pretty sure you'll have somethin' for him to say to Mr. Hisoka... And then Nami'll... I dunno. And then eventually Aimi would have to come back in... and then other things that'll eventually come up will come up and yeah. 8D BRING MAH 'TACHI. xD You said before that he felt like followin' her... maybe he did. = w= I take notice in those itty bitty things because I have an obsession, whether you intended them to mean much or whatever. ;o ]]

[[You have a point there.. I suppose so. We've run out of things already and it's only been what..? Three pages? xD I'll bring him in. ^ ^ I won't even bother saying he left in the other thread...]]
Itachi's footsteps were certain in the direction they were going. It was easy getting a hold of the address for the Akira Residence for they seemed to be a really popular gossip topic. Jumping from branch to branch, a sound sounding like a direct hit with human flesh sent shivers down his back. His hands clenched tighter at the noise, already knowing what probably happened. His finger nails left half circles on his palm, like slivers of the moon. Itachi's eyes were focused on the house, only a few minutes away. In his mind were nasty thoughts. He could write his own book on it at that very moment; a billion and one ways to torture/kill a man.

[[ I shall silently fangirl now whilst typing. C: But yeah. Three pages of my practical stalling. :c Or, at least it feels that way... ]]
The chakra was hard to miss. Although, it did take Nami a minute after it became close enough for her to take notice to it; she was too busy trying to clean up the cut in her mouth while still holding her father's glare. She finally backed down, her eyes shooting over towards the door. He had followed her...? Why? What use was that?
Hisoka, since he was no ninja- -simply a man who couldn't ever keep his temper who also sported a big ego- -, didn't notice the aura approaching. All he took notice in was the fact that his daughter failed to do as he told her, to look at him while he was punishing her and then to treat him with respect. She always failed to do the latter. He, non-too gently, forced his hand around her neck, as much as it'd go. He didn't add any pressure to it. Not yet. He'd wait to see if his threat was going to get through to her.
A dry, rough sensation around her, other than her heart, only life source brought Nami back to her father's world. Her eyes flickered with something, may it've been a spark of something good or bad, but either way it was there. Her father had never touched her neck before. It was too vital a thing, just like he never got too close to her heart or lungs. Her body, knowing more than her mind did, shivered, showing just how afraid it was. Nami wouldn't let her eyes show it, though. That was the one part of her body that she could actually try to control that no one else could. Ita-san... You come at such an awful time.
