Chris saw three trainers looking for a battle. He saw a bug catcher. "Hey you" Chris said "The one with the net" The kid looked over "Wanna battle?" The trainer walked over and agreed. Chris sent out Lily. and then the trainer sent out his wurmple. Seeing this pokemon Chris took her back in and sent out Lance. "Lance use mud-slap" Lance ran up and whacked the pokemon with mud and it fainted. "Good job Lance!" the trainer then sent out another wurmple. "Lance use Mud-Slap again" Lance ran up and slapped the second one with mud and it fainted. "Aww I thought my pokemon were stronger than that..." He handed Chris 140P and his pokemon gained experience

Chris went up to the last trainer "Hi...Have I seen you before?" Chris asked. "Me? Yeah I've seen you in Little Root. My Uncle lives there I've seen you" "Oh cool do you want to battle then?" "Sure!"
"Go Lily!" Lily emerged from the pokeball. 'Go zigzagoon!' She yelled 'and use tackle!' The zigzagoon shot out of the pokeball darting straight towards Lily. "Lily counter it with astonish!" Lily hit the darting zigzagoon and made it faint. "Lily your done, Lance go!" Chris took back Lily and sent out Lance while Tiana sent out shroomish. "Lance use tackle!" Lance charged at he shroomish but it got out of the way 'Shroomish use absorb' the shroomish sent out a green orb and ate away most of Lance's HP. "Lance come back Lily go back out and use Nature Power" Lily came out of the pokeball and used nature power. Water and grass surrounded the shroomish and repeatedly hit it making it faint. 'Good job I'm sure you'll do great!' Chris left route 102 and went to Petalburg city.

D sent out Ralts, expertly bringing it back infront of the Poochyena, who had used Howl, and had his Treecko defeat the wild Pokemon with Tackle.

Treecko: XP = 0/150

Ralts: XP = 90/110

Like so many times before, once D had faced the wild Pokemon, this time a Zigzagoon, he sent Ralts out only for a second, replacing him with Treecko, who had taken a Tackle from the wild Pokemon. Treecko used an Absorb to heal the damage taken from the Tackle, as D went right at the entrance to Petalburg City, but still remained in Route 102.

Treecko: XP = 30/150

Ralts: XP = 10/120

The same routine had followed, with Ralts up against a wild Poochyena, then he being returned back to his Pokeball, and Treecko in his place, watching a Poochyena use Howl to no avail, with Treecko finishing the already won battle with Tackle.

Treecko: XP = 70/150

Ralts: XP = 50/120

The same scenario happened once again, with the Zigzagoon seeing Ralts, using Tackle on Treecko, and defeated by Absorb.

Treecko: XP = 110/150

Ralts: XP = 90/120

The same happened again, with the wild Seedot having a short glimpse of the Ralts, performing Bide, only to be knocked out right after by Treecko with his Tackle. D had then noticed that Ralts had learnt another move, Teleport.
