I preferred watching anime in subs. The dubbed versions tend to annoy me. The dialogue in english isn't all that great and most of the time the voices just don't suit the characters

well personally,i like to watch the dubbed episodes because i don't think you should have to read subtitles to enjoy anime.but,i do agree that the dubs sometimes change a lot of scenes(4Kids-__-).it depends on what company is dubbing it though.i think funimation has good dubs because they closely follow the original japanese dialogue.i mean, you have to admit that the fullmetal alchemist brotherhood dub is good.but that's just my opinion.plus,if subs weren't available, you'd have no way of knowing if dubs match the subs.and come on,naruto isn't that bad.i just hate the censoring because that takes away from the authenticity of the original japanese anime(which is awesome, epic, and funny).i also think that the subs have a little more emotion most of the time.

Personally, it depends on the Anime.
For Naruto, sub is the way to go 'cause they take out all of the blood and swearing in the dubbed.
Hetalia, on the other hand, is MUCH funnier when it's dubbed. Funimation adds a BUNCH of extra-hilarious lines.

Either way is fine. But as Deidara-x-Vi posted,
it depends on the anime.

it depends how good the acting is for the one being watched. some shows have great sub voices and terrible dubs, for some its the other way around.

I agree, most dubs sound completely ridiculous. Not all dubs, though. Like barely any animes have good dubs at all. The only anime I've seen so far that I think has good dubs is Girls Bravo. Lol. Yeah I get the feel more with the subbed version.

Subbed or Dubbed doesn't matter. Either way you see the show.

Dubbed Anime is easier for me to understand, but that doesn't mean I don't watch Subtitled Anime series as well.

However Subtitled Anime series give my Brain such a workout that I feel like I may collapse from Fatigue sometimes. sweatdrop

I also like it when an Anime series is Uncut as well! 3nodding

I like both. Dudded is sometimes easier because it hard to read what is going on and watch the scene at once. I find that you can miss out on someting. But then again subbed episodes have so much more going on in them. I guess it depends on how tired I am ( to read) or if I am to eager to wait for new episodes

It depends on what you perfer. i like dubbed better. yes, sometimes the voice is off and it's censored but i absolutely hate reading the bottom of the screen. Plus, the japanese voices just get annoying after a while. i am happier watching anime in dubbed.

My friend and I are having a conversation regarding this. Only, She is arguing as to what Subbed and Dubbed mean, And I have my own opinion. Could someone please quote and tell me me the right one so I can end the arguing?
