Ryuna_08 TheGinster My personal favorite has always been Final Fantasy VIII. Runners up would be: Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy XII Final Fantasy VI Final Fantasy X yay you love ff12 =O Of course I do. Plus, Balthier is badass. >.> As is Fran.

I was at odds with the FF12 characters. Fran and Balthier are indeed cool, Ashe is also, but I disliked Vaan and Penelo. Basch is one of my favourite FF characters; certainly, I can relate to him the most in terms of personality.

i dun like fran or penelo too much. vaan is alright, i like basch alot tho

But I didn't love them either. There were just so many other better characters in FF12. And yes, I agree, Basch and Ashe are both awesome too.

Certainly, I found Basch to be the person of the most moral integrity. Alright, how's this for a point; which FF character(s) suit you most? I'm like a cross between Basch and Squall. Ruled by morality, a la Basch, but a brooding fellow at the best of times like Squall.

I just got FFX. My first Final Fantasy game (unless you count the DS III version, which I don't, for some reason). So amazing. gonk I just love it.
It took me forever to decide between X and XII, but I decided on X because it was my first FF. I'm definitely going to get XII when I have the money, though.
I guess I can't really give my opinion on which FF is the best, though, since I've only played one. sweatdrop One of my avid video gamer friends seems to think IX is the best, and I've heard a lot about VII, too.

I recommend FFXII though, it's VERY awesome imo.

It has been speculated that The Compilation will include a PS3 exclusive (woo!) remake of the game, but an official statement from Square Enix said that they had not announced such a project. Although, in the credits of both Advent children and Crisis Core there is reference to the Final Fantasy VII PS3 testing team.
