"Its just as i said before Caitlin. The professor is a diplomat. He wants humans and mutants to co exist. be joined together and accepted like whites and blacks were with Dr. King. he would rather see every one happy and lives by that ideal, is willing to fight mutants to protect that ideal and is willing to die in the sake of that ideal. While Eric would much rather see the end of humans. HE views mutants as the next step in evolution, and in order for our kind to thrive he wants to make some space and build a world on the corpses of you normal human being. every last one of them."

Caitlin sat down. It was more of slump than sitting, the one movemnt happening in a split second. Despite the believed shocked reaction, rage was easily seen radiating from every pore around her.

"Are they insane?" Her voice was quiet and calm, steady even, but the rage was there. "Mutants and Humans are not some game to be played or things to be move around like pawns! Neither man is right..." She looked away from William then, clearly in thought. Her eyes seemed to find a piece of railway in the subway tunnel and focus in on it.

"Both, however, have valid points," she said, "but they are small and subtle. Mutant survival will not happen if war is an outcome but equality will not succeed without action." She looked at him then, "This is something that can be forced. Both clearly think that they can make their wants a reality by ignoring or overlooking the consequences! They are there, blantly so."

"They can't," she shook her head violents at the notion,"For a person to create dramatic change like this, they must be able to accept the other outcomes and possibly of failure, whether that is evident or unknown. Nothing is certain or exact in anything. Neither one of them are willing to think on what will happen if they are wrong and different outcome comes to reality. Both will continue to do as they believe, believing the harder they try the better the next outcome would be. It would be like pouring gas on a already raging fire..."

"And at the end of it all the world will be remade in some one else image." William comments giving up on trying to under stand it all. walking up to Caitlin he squats down looking into her eyes as best he could. "So whats your choice?" he asks with a calm voice almost like he had made up his mind on what he was going to do.

"I want nothing... Nothing to do with this war or the repercussions..." William comments as he stands up and walks down the tunnel. His back looked like he was just thinking but the front of his mind was wracked with anger, pain and regret. "All i want is to live a simple life. A wife, my own kids, a house hidden in the wood s somewhere. no regrets, duties, debts nothing. ... But it looks like with these two men around I'll have to pick one or the other." Stopping himself he lets out a long sight and leans back against the nearest wall. "I'll follow you where ever you go Caitlin. No matter the cost I'm not going to let go of you again."

Caitlin nearly did a face plant from his last few words. Follow her? Why?

"Why would you follow me? Nevermind," she said shaking her head. I did not matter to the situation. "Sadly," she started, "Everything and everyone affects any individual, how much depends on the individual. However, there are other choices. One things I have learned, there is always a choice to choose."

"And I've made my choice. That's all there is to it." He comments after a few seconds. He knew it was a wusses answer. leaving all the designations up to her and just following along. But he couldn't really think of anything else to say. He knew he didn't want to leave her all by her self but he didn't want to chose between fighting or waiting.

"Why would you want to follow me then," she said a bit confused, "I am by far not the perfect example having someone wanting to follow me around. I do have a bit of hectic and danger life to me, you have experience some of it. You are better off elsewhere."

He had said he did not want conflict or war. He would get that with being around her. She had old b*****d from the lake trying to find her. She had memory problems from her mickery power activating. Her personalities were greatly better but they still lashed out making her from comfortable to be around. She wasn't exactly someone who knew how to react to constant social activities. So why follow her, he would be better of on he own? He did say he wanted a family.

That thought made her violently look away from him as a memory forced its way into her mind. She doubt she could even have children, if she wanted too. She was thinking in general, not with William in mind.

((Remember she is still clueless to William liking her. She really doesn't even know what love means due to never experiencing it, seeing it, or of hearing the word until recently.))

"Let's just say that I'd rather spend my time keeping you as safe as possible. the following the orders of of some old man that will soon be reaching the end of their ropes." He comments willing to let her learn about things as time went on. After all he did have time on his side.

((im sorry for it being short)

"Fine, your decision. Not matter how, ...dumb, it might be."

She looked back to him, smiling now, "We have the right and freedom to choose. So my choice, is never the Professor's or Erik's. It is my own. I don't know where it will take me, and you apparently, but we shall see what comes of it.."

"Just promise me something?" William asks almost in a pleading voice as he looks off towards Caitlin. He wanted to let her know about his feelings but he wasn't sure of them himself. For all he knew they were backlash from what he had done to Passion. ether left over emotions or the feeling of regret, desiring to make it better at one part of his life. but he stuffed those thoughts deep inside his heart to be pulled out when he was alone.
"Promise me you wont go running off on me again? I was worried sick every single day about you."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 20, 2011 8:20 pm

Could she promises him that? She didn't honestly know. She never really had much of a choice in that matter, and her she was saying everyone had a choice in everything. She sounded so...well, she couldn't think of the word. Still, there were many other factors to considered when those times came up.

"William," she said softly, "I will have to get back to you on that one."

"Fair enough." He comments walking towards her. "Then I'll keep hunting you down if you do." He finishes off with a smile patting her shoulder. "Come on If we stay down here any longer the cameras will start getting curious."

"I wasn't waiting for you to move us." William comments with a smile on his face as he took her hand and pulled her body against his. "Just tell me where you want to come up at." He comments to her softly before letting his powers slip the two of them out of the world. Looking up he softly pushed with his toes and the two of them started moving for the congress building with out much of a rush.
